Dr. Matt was really nice, professional and got right to business. Plenty of parking, really nice location right outside Wickford village, cute building. So I went and call my insurance and they told me everything I don't owe aspen nothing I have a credit balance of 45.00 with them. Then within a few days I get a phone call from them telling me about a balance that's due which is 36.00 dollars and then i ask her what is she talking about "then she tells me that they have to call me back to look up my profile" then they call back and a different person which is she said she's the office manager comes on and starts up about Cigna plan I said huh then all of as-sudden she starts bringing, up about a Cigna discount I had on my account which expired 3years ago which i asked them to delete because Im no longer with that discount company then "she say's well they were giving me discounts" and i told her noway, because I never renewed that card again and I told them this right when it expired. And I don't know what that has to do with my treatment for last month its like she starts going into things that has nothing to do with my balance, "oh we spoken to you about can't use my Cigna plan oh that's expired, oh we spoke about this already," which I don't seem to remember then she goes on and on "well listen OK. Well, you never made any payments oh we don't have any payments on file oh you don't have a credit with us, oh we don't remember taking BcBsri oh we been thru this."I have my statement here with me proving that I have a credit balance of 113.00 I am waiting for my next statement showing that I made my payments and now someone else comes on and another story comes about my pass cleanings from 2010 so i said ok. So i made a quick call to the headquarters and told them situation and they said ok i don't owe them anything they owe me. Need a new dentist because this is bogus to me. What dentist office has that stupid care credit policy that charge the minimum balance of 200.00. The thing im going to miss is here is the bag that she packs with toothbrushes their toothbrushes are nice and soft. Well i called the headquarters back a few days and they told me they put a credit back on my care credit account great that's one thing about aspen headquarters they always gave me a refund when they make a mistake or error problem solved.

When I asked for her number they would not give it to me. Corporate never called the Aspen Dental they sent me to it so I was told! This is poor business practice . Do not go to Aspen unless it's a last resort!!! Wish I had gone to a specialist prior with ethical values . Aspen dental is all about the money not the patient!

Leading to when you actually looked around you notice built up funk on the tile floor as if it's almost never cleaned. Hair and miscellaneous on exam chairs and the bathroom, like it's never vacuumed or swept on off time. Stains on towel dispenser/cabinets in exam room along with dust and random crumbs of dirt everywhere makes you wonder what else isn't clean to be honest. For a dentist office or any medical office you want the space to be very clean and this definitely was unsettling that it wasn't.

Everyone working there was very accommodating to me and gave me all the information I needed to steer me in the right direction to start my dental care journey. Since I am 6 months pregnant I wasn't able to get any work done but the doctor that I spoke to was very kind, non judgmental, very supportive and helpful with all questions and concerns I had. She also prescribed me medication to help me while I get in contact with an oral surgeon. Overall, great experience. I'll definitely be back after my pregnancy.

My son came out of his appointment for the final portion and said I don't think the guy knew what he was doing at all. Prior to the last procedure both my wife and myself spoke with the office to ensure that we would not need any adjustment to his retainer after the procedure, while we waited for the next steps. Both people we spoke with assured us he would be fine. We were NOT fine. His retainer DID NOT fit and we were basically told "too bad". My son is a teenager and they essentially told us he was fine to be missing two front teeth for over a month. He spent his entire school vacation in his room until we were able to contact his orthodontist to fix his retainer. If they had told us the truth from the onset we would have had the retainer fixed that same day. After all that, we decided NOT to use the office they recommended for his teeth, and we were shocked (well not really) that the East Bay put in healing caps that were too small AND one of the implants was crooked! Thankfully the office we used took care of both issues. But when they called East Bay they were also shocked at how rude the lady on the phone was. Stay AWAY from this place!!! The main dentist reprimanded a tech right outside my door and it was very unprofessional. Day of extraction appt, after 3 hours late for my appt, i asked if was going to be soon if not I had no issue rescheduling. Told will be in a few minutes. Another hour goes by and i go back to desk this time to just reschedule when said oh no she is coming to get you right now. Once in room waiting on surgeon and he and his assistant come in laughing but in a more sexual way, thought that was odd. I said i was ok to reschedule seeing as he seemed to be running so far behind. at this comment he was not happy, i said if running that late maybe ask desk to let people know and they could come back later. He got more upset at that and said " things happen" Honestly i think the thing was an adventure with the tech. After he was done and i was waking up, he rudely said i even left you impacted wisdom tooth in. "how is that". I was too out of it to even catch on before he left the room. Next on to 1st set of teeth which not going to say much about as too swollen to have any idea on fit. went back a few more times to adjust never fit good for more than couple hours before hurt again. Everytime they made my next set of dentures they used WAY too much of the goo and it made me gag. once time i started to choke and had to spit out the set and they got mad they had to start again. I asked many times not to put so much in, but never listened. Most times I was there it was like the dentists were more interested in extra curricle activities than my needs. I never did get a pair of good bottom dentures to wear and now I am looking to have top out and definitely going elsewhere, and will see about getting a new bottom denture done also
