All I can say is I wish I had found this practice 8 years ago! Everyone was super friendly, they have the absolute latest greatest dental technology, and they were very gentle during my cleaning. Oh, and it's literally 1 minute from home. I have a problem tooth my old dentist had been just "keeping an eye on" to see if it had a crack. Dr Jump and his staff actually found the crack with a high-res camera (old practice did not have this capability) and recommended a crown to keep the crack from getting worse and alleviate pain when chewing. I am so relieved to have a plan after 3 years of wait and see with some pain sprinkled in. Don't get me wrong, I liked my old dentist, but I LOVE Moundbuilders!! Highly recommend them!!!

That was the whole reason we came here because they told us to come in for a consultation. I was then told by that they could not accept me because if the government found out that they did work on me they could get in to trouble. Wait! What!? Now remember I'm deaf but my hearing girlfriend was there to interpret for me and we both sat there in shock about this information. My insurance is not Medicare or Medicaid. But I am being turned away for a reason I still can't wrap my head around. Because we were told they would get in trouble by the government if they found out North Star did work on me. Right before we left the agreed to at least look at the tooth that was causing me so much pain. I will say they were very helpful in trying to find me a dentist that might accept my insurance. Then a few days later, I started experiencing intense pain from my tooth and my entire right jaw. I've always taken great care of my teeth and dental health, and had no history of this. I contacted Sampson after hours, as they claim many times on their website to offer emergency dental service. I received an email from Sampson saying that there is no way they could be responsible for my pain, even that they hadn't re-examined me. They also refused to be able to see me over the weekend, and said they would do their best for today, Monday. I had to pay out of pocket to see a Virtual Dentist who prescribed me antibiotics and told me I need to get into a dentist right away. I messaged Sampson again with this info, and they still did not help me, and could not confirm an appointment for today. So, I'm done with Sampson and have an appointment with a new dentist today. I have to pay out of pocket, but it's an emergency, and I was able to get in first thing this morning. I also am going to report Sampson to my health insurance provider and the Better Business Bureau. Do yourself a favor, and stay away from Sampson Dental.

Keep good records until all claims are settled because if you are owed money from the practice you are in for a significant wait. Other than that it is a great place to be treated.
