Do NOT use Aspen Dental. I went to the Middleburg office for a consultation for a redo root canal. I wanted to send my records from my dentist over. They insisted on doing their own X-rays and told me it was free. The receptionist told me that the first appointment is free. Their commercial says the same thing. I went to the appointment and scheduled the redo root canal. They insisted I pay $947.86 up front. That my insurance would pay the rest. I did. A few days later I learned that they charged my insurance for the first appointment. It was not free. They lied to me. I did not want a procedure done by people who lie. I checked out their reviews, and they are awful. I cancelled my appointment and asked for my money back. They gave me a partial refund. They held back $193. It was to pay for the amount of money that my insurance did not cover for the "free" first appointment. Do not use this dental office. The people who work there lie. It is a scam. read more

I broke an incisor almost two years ago and was able to get an appointment fairly quickly, however due to complications with the bone adhering to the hardware multiple visits were required. During one of my visits, I was scheduled for an examination to check the progress, my doctor was not available, I was x-rayed three different times and was seen by a doctor and a dental hygienist that I had never seen before. The Doctor examined me an told me that everything looked fine, however a few minutes later the Hygienist advised me that I was in need of a deep cleaning and tried pressuring me to make an appointment that was going to cost me several hundred dollars above what my insurance would cover, I declined. I hadn't had a standard cleaning since before I broke my tooth, so I called and scheduled an appointment, however on the day of my appointment I got a call from one of their employees again trying to pressure me into a deep cleaning and advised me that a standard cleaning would not be possible until I received this cleaning procedure. Needless to say, I will refrain from visiting this place again. read more

I had a care credit plan to get my wisdom teeth and one molar removed, I was NEVER spoken to about getting a bone graft placed for the molar but they had charged me for it anyways. When the time came to get my teeth pulled they started asking me questions about the bone graft and I was confused telling them no I was never asked about it and I do not want it done. So I called about getting the charge removed and explained that I was NEVER asked about it and Heather the financial lady said "well first of all you were spoken to about it" which was extremely rude and uncalled for. I was a little worried about a "Dental Franchise" ... they are clearly trained money hungry greedy cons. Everything is an upsale or treatment plan costing thousands of dollars even when you have no issues or problems/pain. You will go in with for a routine cleaning and come out with a $7000 treatment plan. They want to re-do any prevous work/fillings you have. It's run like a used car lot. I would not recommend this place to no one They charged me over $1000 for an adjustment and I still don't have my lower plate and they haven't even tried to contact me about anything. I made an appointment to have my tooth taken care of because I was in pain. When I came home my Husband was so upset. I ended up not getting my tooth fixed. Have to wait 31/2 weeks until I get it fixed but they got over 2,000 dollars of my money. And that is only for a crown and a deep cleaning. After my Husband explained it to me that way I was devastated. And Now it hurts every time I eat anything. Now I feel like a chump. He's says I got robbed. I think he's right. read more

I went here to get 2 teeth pulled that were hurting me but I was told I had to get a cleaning and do all this other stuff before I could get the teeth pulled. I was told to wait till august 31st to get them pulled, at the time of me being seen that was 2 months away! I couldn't wait that long. So now I'm sitting on a $1000 bill there just for a cleaning and 2 filling. They also like to add stuff like toothbrush, toothpaste and mouthwash to your bill without telling you the price or the fact it was added. They charged me $130 for a toothbrush that broke a week after I got it and now I'm fight with them and the Genesis credit financing company they go through cause they are still trying to charge me for all the surgeries I told them to take off that I wasn't getting. I called them a month ago and told them this and they have yet to get back to me, then when I call genesis credit all they can say is we will add a note to your account. Ohh I also referred a friend before finding out how fucked this place is and they told her they took her insurance and it was all covered then waited till she got the surgeries done and told her they didn't take her insurance and she has to pay out of pocket. I went for broken teeth that were causing e pain. They gave me an $18,000 treatment plan which was fine because there was a lot of work to be done if I had all of it. I put $2,000 down. But then they schedule a $1,500 cleaning with a follow-up cleaning /check in October. NONE OFTHE TEETH THAT HURT ARE TAKEN CARE OF!?!?!?! I am told the oral surgeon won't be available until August 31st! THEY DID NOT TELL ME THAT JULY 7th when I first went for the pain and broken teeth. SO I walk out with an October follow-up AND NO APPOINTMENT FOR THE ORAL SURGEON because I could not afford ALL the work. I still have broken teeth that are worse and when I asked for the rest of my money/deposit back, they suddenly have an attitude. Unprofessional, unorganized. HIPPA Violations from employees, Tried numerous times to go in for simple procedure and they always had excuses as to why I could not get work done. Money is all they care about and their prices and procedures are high and shady. They took money upfront from me for work they had not even done. It has been almost 30 days and I still have not received a refund that I requested. They told me at corporate they could not tell me a time frame as to when they could give me my money back??????? They got my money in minutes via Debit. Do not go to any Aspen locations!! Oh... their entire network was hacked, and people's personal information stolen.
