I wish I had read all the Google/yelp 1 and2 star reviews posted for BaeMax Dental on Google before…read moregoing to them. I had gone to BaeMax Dental for a second opinion on a Bridge that I needed. The chain dentistry I had been going to wanted to charge me $1500 more than the contracted prices with my insurance company Aetna. Though BaeMax really wanted to do an implant, we agreed on a fair price and that a bridge would be done. Two weeks later, on the day of my appointment, I received a call (waking me) from the office manager telling me that I needed to understand that if my Dental insurance (Aetna) did not pay I would be responsible for the 2.5K plus cost. I asked if they had a predetermination from my insurance company and the answer was yes. I said: Then there should be no problem. Again, the manager started telling me that I would have to pay it all if the insurance didn't. I said that was no problem, I would pay if needed and AETNA would hear from my lawyer if they refused to pay a predetermination they had given. We said goodbye but she called back a few minutes later and said the dentist wasn't comfortable with me saying "Lawyer" and was banning me from their services. I was never rude or foul to them but was told I was being abrasive on the callback. I went to their office and tried to apologize for my being abrasive (after being waken), but it was to no avail. I even offered to pay the entire fee upfront if they would give me the proper paperwork to file for reimbursement from AETNA. Later, I checked with my insurance company and found that BaeMax had never put in with them for a predetermination of benefits so the manager had lied to me. I would not have had any proof that AETNA had approved of the benefits and yes, I would be on the hook for the full amount. It was a bad experience and I should have known after the first visit as they kept telling me on check out that the Insurance company may not pay. Apparently that was not enough as they had to call me again on the day of the appointment and tell me numerous times. Most Dentists have a form you sign stating that you will pay if the Insurance company doesn't. BaeMax has a much more personal way of getting that message through to you. Steer clear of them if they do the same to you.

They waste your time setting appointments for you that they have no intention of maintaining or keeping. This is the worst office experience I've been subjected to and it's apparent that they don't care. I do recommend anyone try these folks. Today I went in for my appointment, and Missy cleaned my teeth. I worked as a dental assistant in Texas, and I will say Missy did an amazing job. I have been having some sensitivity with some of my teeth, and she took that into consideration and was very gentle. She was also extremely personable and I enjoyed talking with her! Dr. Came into the room, and went over treatment. He was straight to this point, and very professional. Becky helped me during check out, and I will say she went over my treatment plan straight forward. I was happy that it was clear of what my insurance was going to pay. Thank you so much for such a pleasant visit. I love going to the dentist, and this office certainly is wonderful. The only advise I can give is to look into going digital! Hahaha. :)

They insisted on doing their own X-rays and told me it was free. The receptionist told me that the first appointment is free. Their commercial says the same thing. I went to the appointment and scheduled the redo root canal. They insisted I pay $947.86 up front. That my insurance would pay the rest. I did. A few days later I learned that they charged my insurance for the first appointment. It was not free. They lied to me. I did not want a procedure done by people who lie. I checked out their reviews, and they are awful. I cancelled my appointment and asked for my money back. They gave me a partial refund. They held back $193. It was to pay for the amount of money that my insurance did not cover for the "free" first appointment. Do not use this dental office. The people who work there lie. It is a scam.

This office does not do root canals even though their site shows it and they have no place to write…read morea review....I can see why. The Dentists have no concern for the patient. They pushed me into a Crown knowing I had a partial that probably would not fit it...but I was never told that I might have to get a new partial. After 2 wks I came back in....they proceeded to ignore my PAIN & DECAY coming from under the Crown. They would just sand the crown down hoping it would fit....this was the 2nd crown they made. Their Assistant Tracy hurt my gum as she did the bitewing and never cleaned my mouth it was full of grit, the tooth, or was it medicated before they put the crown on. The Dentist never tried my partial on before cementing the crown. When given antibiotics I asked her to call the Pharmacy to make sure they had the meds and she told me, "that's not my job!" I also asked her to get me the capsules and she ordered the tablets. I waited 3 days to get my antibiotics and for pain they gave me 800mg of Ibuprofen....which didn't take the pain away. I can buy that over the counter doubling up on the strength. They will not give you anything stronger. When I called to try to talk to the Dentist they would just hand me over to the rude Assistant. I have since went to an Endodontist for the Root canal that they recommended. I still have some pain & swelling and no partial to fit. Thanks for nothing Black Creek Dental.
