I went in for a first appointment regarding option for dentures (preferably the snap on solution). After waiting for 1.5 hours, I was forced to do a 3D x-ray again, even though I had all the images from my dentist with me!! Before going in I had already subscribed to the savings plan (more about that later). After a long consult with the office/account manager I walked out with a pretty steep offer. I had to call back several times in order to get the price through the savings plan. Finally someone did this for me and the price tag was 1/3 of the first offer!!!! Not surprising they were hesitant to give it to me. Afterwards I got slapped with a bill, which shouldn't be the case. It started of with $170.00. I called and was told it would be corrected and I didn't owe them anything, my balance was zero. Yet again I receive a bill for $70.00...I have now been on the phone for 25 minutes trying to get through to someone (again)! The overall impression left me with quite a few red flags. Walking out I had already decided I was not going to use their services. Difficult to pinpoint what was feeling off. It just left me with an awkward feeling regarding potential quality of care and general impression regarding the staff. I did end up going somewhere else and I couldn't be happier. read more

This place shouldn't be where you can trust anyone with your dental care! From the office staff to the clinical staff. They fail to check your benefits correctly and charged me out of network pricing for some cleaning and treatment, when I specifically remember asking them if I was in network. I even went as far to ask them to lay out the full payment plan so I am not caught with a surprised bill at the end. Well, guess what ... I was. Reema, the office manager is unprofessional and should not be in healthcare. She is rude, interrupts when others are speaking and does not know how to check someone's benefits. The only reason I even went to this dental office is because of its close proximity. The hygienist who did my cleaning, and other treatment was very professional and took the time to care. She is the only thing going for this place! The rooms don't seem to be supplied correctly because people not have working on my teeth were coming in and out of the rooms to grab things out of the drawers. read more

One of my friends recommended Aspen to me when I needed to make a same-day dental appointment. I called them, and they were able to schedule me for the same day without any hassle. The check-in process was easy, and I didn't have to wait long before being attended to. Every staff member I interacted with during my visit was very friendly and welcoming. The office and dental rooms are clean, and each room has a TV that helps pass the time while waiting or when the dentists or assistants are showing films during the explanation process. This practice has long waiting times, they are always running late, usually an hour or more. We recently scheduled a wisdom teeth extraction and they scheduled us at a different location as the surgeon was not available at Westheimer. We asked about additional evaluations and were told nothing else was needed. The other location (Tombal) also made us wait over two hours, they didn't have the full information they needed and there wasn't much concern for the patient well-being. Overall , not impressed with Aspen; will be looking for a new dental practice. read more

My 1st visit as a new patient, I had XRs and the dentist examine my teeth. I was told "you need to make another appointment for your cleaning cause we don't have time today." The tone and complete disregard for my time was insulting. I spoke up and only then did the manager arrange for someone to do my cleaning. For my 2nd visit, I got fitted for a mouth guard. I arrive at my scheduled time for 1pm, don't get passed back until 2pm due to "an office meeting that went on longer than expected". The technician who does my mold takes all of 5 min. I leave. I get a call from the office an hour later saying "unfortunately we're going to have to do another impression, but we have availability tomorrow for you to come in!" I was only here twice and every time was anything but smooth or professional. Save your time and energy and go somewhere else where they value you as a customer. You deserve a good dental experience. I can assure you this office won't give it to you. read more

The staff were courteous and the cleaning was competent, but double-check the information they provide. After speaking with a member of the office staff (whose name is being omitted for the sake of their privacy) and explaining that because my insurance only covers dental cleanings every 6 months, I wanted to make sure this dental cleaning was far enough out from my last one to be covered by my insurance. The front desk staff member told me that my last dental check-up was in December last year, so August means I should be covered. However, after receiving the cleaning, I was given a quote of approximately $240. This was when I found out the staff looked at my last dental check-up and not dental cleaning (like I had asked) and provided the incorrect date. While the mistake was not made out of malice, the staff did not fulfill their ethical responsibility of providing accurate information, especially when it resulted in financial consequences for the patient. Kaycee and Carmen are amazing, I didn't feel anything and this experience was a really good one. This place isn't your regular dentist, they really do care and make you feel comfortable. Horrible 1st experience, I had to wait almost 2 hours for my teeth to be cleaned & they did not clean my teeth, they said after I waited 2 hours, they were only going to take xrays & evaluate my teeth. Then they tell me I need a deep cleaning. Crazy! I went to a periodontist for a 2nd opinion & he said no I do not need a deep cleaning. This place only wants to run up a high bill for the insurance company. read more

Went to this dentist for a pre-employment screening in August and I never knew they existed until then. I lnow my company has contracted with them through Access Medical One for their pre-employment screenings because once completed the lady told me they would not accept it unless I got a "1" on the form. Therefore, I knew they were about greed. The dentist I saw there Ali or w/e stated I needed over 10k worth of work done which consisted of him doing and implany cause I have a missing teeth and refilling a cavity. They only did that because I said I pay out of pocket and I guess they figured I would jump to pay them that to get the "1" on the form. Lol sike. Went back to my dentist I saw in July and I'm good. Going to report this to Risk Management and the Board. read more

I wish I had known about this place sooner! I HATE going to any kind of medical office because the staff is always so bitter and just chastises you and leaves you not wanting to ever return. This could not be further from the truth here! Every single staff member I came in contact with (and I'm pretty sure with all my visits this week it was all of them at some point) was so caring and friendly, not just with me but every single patient I saw come and go. I will definitely be making all of my regular appointments here now and I don't care if I ever move I'm driving the distance to come back because you just cannot find customer service like they have here.
