6 months later and a loss of almost 40lbs.....Still in limbo. 2 bottom front teeth gone, partial that is too big, and refusal to produce my medical file (all notes, claims, etc). No one cares there. Had an emergency appointment arranged through my insurance approval by aspen dental administration at 4:00. Arrived 3:40 signed in showed my Aetna insurance card was told they don't take my insurance. The dentist is not under Aetna. I got Aetna on the phone speaker he said yes she is covered card says hmo but I've got ppo dental. Got it approved by 4:15 she said they wouldn't see me it was too late after I drove over an hour for an emergency appointment. I had to come back next day. I have experienced some very frustrating service with Aspen Dental on Rogers Ave. in Ft. Smith. The last dentist I worked with has moved away. I chose Aspen for a new provider. The tech who did my impressions did a poor job of it. I expressed concern that the mold didn't look right. When the dentures were ready I went to pick them up. They did not fit right, and one entire section of the lower plate was incomplete. This was discussed and the dentist came in and checked on them. He told the tech to make some adjustments. The tech made some adjustments ... several fittings... while she worked on them. Finally, the dentist told me to try wearing them two more weeks. I tried. I bit my lip every time I talked and bit my jaw because I could not chew properly. I developed horrible mouth sores. I returned to Aspen and went through the adjustment ordeal again. The dentist didn't even come in the room. The tech made some adjustment and told me to try them for a few days and let her know if they still bothered me. Shortly after that I became extremely ill (flareup of heart problems and other acute health issues). I was in and out of the hospital, in doctors' offices or testing facilities two and three times a week. I have not been able to go back to the dentist. I cannot wear the plates. I have paid ASPEN Dental almost $5,000.00 (counting insurance) and can no longer put the dentures in my mouth. I am considering having an attorney advise me on what avenue I might take to recoup what Aspen Dental was paid so that I can get some dentures that fit. read more

This place is the most unprofessional waste of time. They tried to convince me that I didn't pay and I pulled out a receipt and they acted shocked. They finally refunded my money to me over a payment for a service they can't even provide. I asked what they charged me for and they couldn't explain it to me. The most unprofessional dentist office. I had a dental emergency, and their call center told me they could get me in as a walk in the next day. I drove over an hour, only to be told upon arrival that they aren't accepting walk ins. Made appointment for tooth cleaning with them as a new patient. I wait for 2.5 hours but still not long enough to get my tooth cleaning done, though xray, "consult" were done ahead. No idea if their policy says no tooth cleaning in the first visit or not but I was not told so when making appointment. Very very disappointed. read more
