My six month appointment was cancelled the day before, and when I tried to reschedule (two months…read moreout) the receptionist seemed rather unhappy to be talking to me. I understand if one dentist is gone, another on maternity leave, if she can't "control when she has the baby" but a dental office should be able to let people know more than a single day ahead of time, or at the very least understand my frustration. I was on the phone for less than five minutes total, and no one raised their voice, but it felt obvious that they didn't need me as a patient.

I went to this dentist for two bad molars and was told I needed four root canals. I agreed to…read morethree, but before I could schedule the fourth, one of my permanent crowns fell off twice within months. When it came off again, it took the filling with it, leaving just the posts exposed. I called for help but was told the dentist was on vacation and no one else could assist. Later, an Endodontist reviewed my X-rays and found lesions on all three root canals, meaning every one now needs retreatment--less than three years later. Even worse, the fourth tooth he said needed a root canal only requires a simple filling. That says everything. He may be a nice person, but the quality of his work has cost me thousands and more procedures. Save yourself the time and money--go to a qualified Endodontist first.

Is there a dentist in Fort Smith Arkansas that is any good. I've been in Arkansas for thirty years…read moreand I still can't find one. I got dentures from Dr Skinner a few months ago. When I bite the top and bottom doesn't line up. He told me that I would be able to eat what ever I want. When I went in I told him that I wanted to eat steak. He said that I would be able to, I cannot. He filled three teeth and after seven months one filling fell out. It not only fell out but the amount that fell out was twice the size of the filling. I can only surmise that he didn't drill out the whole cavity. I'm really mad because I keep throwing money in the trash. My previous dentist was just as bad.

Couldn't get him to discuss what was wrong, or what the cause was. He leaped right into a discussion of how much pulling my tooth was going to cost! I had to push him to pay attention to me, and finally got him to admit that it might just be a gum infection and I could try antibiotics first to see if it cleared up. I left his office scared and confused, unsure of what my options were and what my best course was. Will be seeking a second opinion, and a better dentist.
