At the moment I have been waiting on for them to work with my insurance to straighten out the cost that I am supposed to pay. After I went to them I found out that a doctor signed off of my service which was not in Humana network. Now I have to suffer and not get my partial until they work it out with Humana. Meanwhile I am waiting until they straighten out the issue. It has been a month and two days of my service and I still haven't heard anything. I went by their office and they said they were waiting to hear from their company. Until I hear from them the charges are on me and I have insurance. They said this isn't my fault, which I agree. I wouldn't know which doctor is out of network with Humana. It is their job to let me know. Why would I pay out of pocket when I have insurance. Update: Almost half a year later and I'm still receiving bills for a service that was never done... You have a signed consent on file to pull the "Medical Records" which would prove the service was never done.... However rather than help your patients you rather not. Must be terribly daunting. Went to this location for tooth pain/ emergency. I had a kid with me and they turned me away because I have a child with me. I had to find another place to accommodate me. Some people don't have it any other way. An emergency is an emergency and they should treat it as such. Then they have the nerve to promote appointments in my email feed. If they can't consider me in a time of need they don't need my time and money on a good day. read more

After booking the appt and waiting for two months, they called a week prior to tell me they moved it another two months out. I swear since the moment they messed up my mother's payment plan they have been the rudest people to us. Can't even ask a question with out the lady rolling her eyes and giving us attitude. Why scedule an appointment for 9 am and 6 people go in before ummy mother and we wait and hour for a simple denture tightening. They are the rudest people they don't even communicate to us why we're watching every single person that came in after us go in before us. I was not happy at all. They billed me for X-rays and my X-rays are covered at 100%. The thing is they told me that Delta would not cover all of my visit and I knew it wasn't true. Now they have to refund my card. But what really ticked me off is that they are trying to push a deep cleaning on me and eat up all of my insurance. When I told them that I would like a regular cleaning they told me that I could not get on unless I did the deep cleaning first I will not have ANY doctor dictating to me as to what I MUST do. One star review is extremely generous, but you can't leave zero stars. I show up for my 12pm (confirmed) appointment today. I was about 20 minutes early. I checked in with the lady at the front desk. She asked me to take a seat and they would be with me shortly. A couple of minutes later, a very nice man calls me up. He tells me he is so sorry, but they are running very behind and I won't be able to be seen at my appointment time. He rescheduled me for 2pm and apologized again and thanked me for understanding. I asked if there were any other forms I needed to fill out that I could take with me. He looks in the system and says I'm all set and to just be back at 2. I come back at 2 to find a note taped to the door saying the office is in a meeting until 2:10! A lady comes to the door while I'm reading the note and I tell her that I was told to be back at 2 for my appointment. She just reads the letter off to me and says to wait until they open. When they open the door I and 2 other people come in to the waiting room. I check back in. The original woman is back at the desk and says she needs my license, insurance card and I have a stack of forms to fill out. I said the other man already said my forms were put in the system. She barely looks, says no, my forms must have been shredded and I have to do it again. I take the forms, redo all my information and turn it back in. They come up from the back and take the 2 people who came in behind me. The another man comes into the lobby and checks in. At 2:45, they call the other man back. I go up to the desk and say I might need to get another time to come back. She said they could see me on the 20th of July! Then she tells me I didn't have a 12pm appointment at all because I never confirmed the appointment. I showed her the screenshot and email I had where my appointment was confirmed. No, she said that doesn't count because I didn't speak to anyone on the phone. Then why do I have an appointment confirmation from you for 12pm today?!? Stay away from this outfit. STAY AWAY. The Doctors (if you can call them that) are incompetent, inexperienced and negligent) I had several extractions that went sideways. The first surgeon took two hours trying to remove teeth and, in that time, extracted one. She had to administer anesthesia 3 time because it had worn off it took her so long. She finally disappeared and for another hour I sat in the chair as pain started back in. Finally, a replacement Dr. arrived, and she did extract the rest of my teeth after three more injections. This Doctor was Pregnant and ready to give birth in three days. She did yank them, in a HURRY it seemed, like she was taking it all out on me. The drill she used to help break up the teeth slipped from her grip and went through the roof of my mouth. That was quite painful and left a bruise on my face that did not go away for three weeks. Many fragments were left that were said to be bone fragments. MY ass, I saw what they removed, and they were teeth fragments not bone. This shoddy fly by night outfit. I will put negative 5 stars if I can. The dentist itself was fine. No complaints. But the organization sucks. Front desk personnel repeatedly told me (and continue to insist) that they are in network with my insurance, when their provider is apparently not. Now, I am stuck with a bill that I never would have received if they're being honest. It's a good thing I didnt push through with the treatment after getting an email from my insurance. Otherwise, I wouldve gotten a bigger bill. The clinic is listed as in network but they changed dentists. I do not mind paying the bill but I don't want anyone else to have the same experience. 03/20/23 Update I received a call from someone at Aspen while eating lunch on Thursday or Friday 3/16 or 17 the lady said that someone from their corporate office had seen my review and that she was reaching out to discuss my complaint. I told her that I was eating, and she said, "well can I call you back?" I replied "that's up to you" she then replied or would you rather I not call back and I stated once again "that's up to you" I haven't heard back. This is my experience with this office: I went to the Covington office with a toothache, and it was suggested I get a root canal (molar 31) and after spending over an hour there getting x-rays and agreeing to having my teeth cleaned. Yes, it was suggested I get my teeth cleaned when I go in for a toothache, I even mentioned that with my tooth being sensitive to heat and cold I didn't think I could deal with it. They gave me shots in the gum, lip and jaw to numb me and proceeded to clean. After the cleaning they schedule the root canal for two weeks later. They recommend a slew of things (Clear Aligners to straighten my teeth and of course a cap) and even have a chart showing how the procedures can be financed since their prices are huge, over $13K for everything they suggested being done and they don't take my insurance. I paid them $3050 for the deep cleaning (that I don't think I needed). After a few days I called them and told them I would just have the tooth extracted because I was in too much pain to wait for the appointment and I was eating with my front teeth, miraculously I was told that I could have the root canal (2 days later) on Wednesday 3/1 because the doctor who performs the procedure would be there then. I had previously been told that he comes to Covington on Wednesday's, but he was already booked up. The fee for the procedure would be an additional $1,123.00 to be paid to the doctor before the procedure. I am already out $4,173.00 and they are telling me I owe an additional $1,700 for the cap to go over the teeth that the root canal was done on. Wish I could do zero stars.Have an emergency extraction needed. Went to an endodontist who said I needed an oral surgeon after taking 3-D scans and images of the problem. Aspen is the only dental that takes my Cigna Pro Total insurance. Called, they said their closest oral surgeon was an hour away and I had to come in for an initial consult and they required their own images and wouldn't accept the ones I'd just had taken and covered by insurance, which means they would be out of pocket for a new set of the exact same thing. After the consult, they would schedule me for the procedure. THIS IS AN EMERGENCY, AND THIS IS HOW THEY HANDLE IT. ALL THEY WANT IS YOUR MONEY. The person I spoke to seemed to have zero common sense or empathy, just parroting company policy from some script. Sent a LinkedIn message to CEO. ZERO RESPONSE. They are just awful. They care nothing about the patient. read more

I should've known something was wrong with my initial visit. They took a million ex rays and then recommended that I get a more expensive cleaning. I trusted their judgement. They said that insurance only covers a percentage therefore I would have to pay the remainder which was close to $200. Which I eagerly did. Unfortunately on the day of that appointment I had a family emergency therefore I had to cancel. When I called back to reschedule on office member told me that they didn't have any other availabilities until 2 months out. But they'll leave my appointment on the books and if someone calls out then they'll try to get me scheduled. After several weeks I called to complain, I stated if you get me an appointment or give me a full refund. They stated we can give you a refund but let's get you an appointment. So they scheduled one. One the day of that appointment I got an email stating that my appointment will have to be rescheduled wtf? So I called office again they were like oh we're sorry our Hygienist got sick so we'll have to schedule so once again I requested a refund if I couldn't be seen in a timely fashion. So they scheduled me again now on this particular day I left the job extra early but there was traffic. I called the office to tell them that I was running a little behind and they then told me that I was already 30 minutes late. I was dumfounded because I get off at 5:00pm, the earliest that I could get to the office would be an hour. They said ok well if you can get here by 6:15 then we'll take you but a minute later you will have to be rescheduled. I arrived there exactly at 6:18pm. They had the doors locked and staff walking around ignoring me knocking at the door. Eventually the Asst. Office Manager came and said that my appointment would have to be rescheduled. At that point I told her nevermind just please give me a refund and cancel the two referrals appointments that I sent to office as well. This morning I checked my account and apparently they only refunded me $80 not full amount! This place is extremely the worst. Now I will have to report them or just hoping that this was an honest mistake and I can get my monies and just move the heck on! read more
