I had a shingled roof replaced by Aspen 10 years ago. The contract is for a 40 year extended limited lifetime warranty. I contacted Aspen several times in the last 10 days thru phone calls, texts and emails. I've covered everything in the room to keep them dry. No one at Aspen can give me any time frame for them to send someone to repair the problem. Keep Away! I will remove this negative review and replace with a positive one. Aspen has finally scheduled an appointment to look at the leak.

Sharp black metal roof!

Great service, great quality, very fast. Graham and his install team did an amazing job installing our black metal roof in just one day! highly recommend them!

Summary: Aspen's warranty states great coverage for an exceedingly long time. It is very easy to have a warranty like they do when they will only repair roof/drywall/and interior ceiling. If and when they do a bad job on your roof (as two issues have now been found) they will defend it and tell you to pay for it. The damage to my windows has been quoted at $27,500. This is Aspen's warranty follow through. *Update 6/2/2022* Pat Nussbeck (President and CEO) conitually requested to send his team out to keep looking for anywhere else the water could be getting in besides the roof. I allowed these sessions as my team was convinced at this point that the waters entry was from the the poor roofing job. The trim boards were pulled back from the house and revealed that no water was able to get back behind them. Then, Aspen's team sprayed water directly at the window (and most importantly the rotted out giant hole section of the window) and magically, water was able to get through it. I honestly felt the President wouldn't use this as a way to write-off any accountability for the warranty and I was mistaken. It was precisely what he did in a formal letter from Aspen. Furthermore, it was discovered that the material that goes between the shingles and the plywood of the roof (name escapes me Underlayment maybe?) was NEVER put down. It is quoted by one of his own team say "this was obviously a job where they told the new guy to "go nuts". Legal action at this time is the only recourse which I am taking. *Update 4/19* Am now working directly with Pat Nussbeck (President of Aspen Roofing). We are again focusing on the investigation of the issue however. He has requested yet another additional visit to open up my internal drywall to see where the water (if any) has been going as a result of not having house wrap on the home. Waiting for legal to get back with me on allowing the on-site (I'm fine with it as long as my contractor is on-site). *Update 4/6* Inspected for "house wrap" behind siding and found to be none. This could be A factor for a water issue. Aspen has used this as an opportunity to waive any and all responsibility for the window damage. Not having this can be a factor, however it doesn't negate damage as a result of not having flashing installed. Was also stated by my contractors that this couldn't case this damage. This is the warranty follow through from Aspen for my situation. After showing damage resultant from improper roof installation, repair, and materials not used I was told "not our problem". *Update 4/4* On-site team were very professional and did a thorough review of the issues and I'm awaiting a formal response from Aspen, we shall see. This review will continue to change as this plays out. I've been shown no accountability for their "warranty" . I as the customer have had to prove beyond all doubt any home damage as a result of their 3rd party contract roofers. Roofing done 7 years ago by previous owner. I had repair done March 2021. Found no flashing installed under shingles. Wrong type of shingles used to repair roof. Sealant was only "tubed" out and left like toothpaste on top of the shingles and exposed (no flashing) roof. Water leaked down and destroyed a luxurious 10 window living room bay window. Had a team from Aspen come out and repaired the roof and installed flashing. Vernon from Aspen lied about reports from on-site team and fabricated other reasons for the water damage that were never inspected or identified by aspens on-site repair team (pdf in possession). Will have to take this company to court over the issue as they will not take accountability for the damages. Two separate contractors reviewed the damage prior to Aspen coming to repair and ascertained that the roof is the location of the leak. This review will be continuously updated after an on-site "inspection" tomorrow. However, after setting the date Vernon proceeded to lecture to me how the damage didn't exist and Aspen is not at fault, so I am expecting more of the same tomorrow.

Highly Disappointed!!!!!!! We had our roof, siding, gutters,…read moreand windows done and it has been a complete ongoing NIGHTMARE! We have been taken advantage of by a company that claims to be Christian based that stands for God, family, honesty and Integrity. That itself is the beginning of the scam! We paid half of the cost of our siding and windows in Sep 2025 however, they did not start until March 2026 and I am STILL with all work NOT done and can't seem to get a response back to email or text. They have come out 3 times so far to repair all of the damage done during installation to our "brand new" James Hardie siding along with uninstalling and reinstalling of a living room window that is now worse after the second attempt! We were sold in writing, a lifetime warranty for windows and in fact when speaking with Pella, it is only a limited 20 year warranty. We have repeatedly reached out to management and ownership (Dave) by phone calls, emails and texts struggling to get a reply or answers back to our questions. As of today, we are waiting on shutter's, sliding glass door that was ordered in the wrong size, side door, the replacement of our custom fit screen door that was thrown away in a dumpster and per 3rd party we need windows uninstalled and reinstalled. However that would void my warranty! I was also asked to make final payment before job has even been completed, which goes against my contract and was also advised my account is delinquent and they will seek further legal action! BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!!! I wish I wouldn't have fallen for their lies And read reviews not trusting the Christian sales pitch we received. Just a side note by posting this review seems to be the only way to get a response back from this company!

Absolutely excellent; more businesses should be like them!…read more We inherited a nice Provia door from the previous owners of our house that came with a warranty, so when it started showing some signs of age we reached out to them. In a nutshell, they have been very professional, communicative, helpful, and went above and beyond. I literally looked up their webpage to see if we needed anything they sell because I was so impressed. It's nice to have a company honor a warranty in a hassle-free way. This was from a previous owner and while the time-frame holds validity for the warranty, I'm sure they technically could choose not to honor it but they helped transfer it to our name. Additionally, in the age of designed obsolescence, it feels like nothing is quality anymore and we're always having to replace things. It's nice to have the alternate feeling; this is a quality door built to last and they helped keep it up for us. They fully replaced the handle, the frayed stripping on the bottom, and helped level it as it was sagging and letting air in the top corner. Lastly, the tech came out and made the repair, but had received the wrong weather stripping from the manufacturer. He noticed a spot where our dogs had ripped up the outer-stripping -- I didn't even try to get that fixed in our request because that's totally on us, but he told us he'd get it all taken care of and was back out a few days later. He wouldn't even take the trade-call warranty fee charge ($65) until the job was done right. Great company -- definitely reach out to them first and I hope you have as good of an experience as we did.

To start, they're overrated, in my opinion. What started as promising ended poorly. I heard all the…read moreright things so we went with them. Turns out it was a mistake. I felt I was being belittled for not spending our money on a private adjuster and it didn't get better. It appeared to me as though I was to continue a fight with our insurance carrier to increase the profit for MCH. We were told we were being taken advantage of by the carrier. That's not their call to make. It was our decision and we had a difficult time keeping them within what we decided to accept. It is our home after all. We have the final input. They still wanted more. After countless emails and texts with the owner I was finally able to talk to a person and settle on the scope of work. You see, the owner refused to talk to me. Isn't that his job? We had a pre-construction meeting where our project manager wasn't sure how things would be done. He had to talk to someone else. Shouldn't a PM know the best way to proceed? Shouldn't you know what you're managing? After scheduling the work they arrived with a subcontractor. I was lead to believe they self-preformed the work. I was mislead. Not only was some of the material the wrong size it was also the wrong color and texture so it didn't match existing materials. They were "Sorry I caught it before they did". Really? What if I didn't notice it? Excuses were made and our aggravation grew. Plus we had to clean up after they left debris in the yard and unnecessarily blocked the garage! They were supplied a complete materials list from original siding construction. They knew exactly what to supply and failed miserably. Then, they decided to change to scope of work without consulting us. Again, really? There was no on-site supervision of their subs. I feel that some of the work was questionable at best. The roofing sub was ok but they were instructed to change that scope as well. I again brought it to their attention and the owner argued, via email it wasn't in the scope. After being proven wrong he blamed his office. I guess he's never heard "The buck stops here". MCH would not supply a warranty for the work they were paid to do. They gave us a manufacturer warranty for the material and made the roofing subcontractor had to supply a workmanship warranty. Our agreement was with MCH, not a subcontractor. If you build a home and have an issue, you go to your builder, not their subs. That's how the process is supposed to work. I felt MCH was simply removing any responsibility from themselves for the work they were paid to do, or oversee in this case. Then our PM was unavailable and I was told had no one to fill in. Not even a job foreman we didn't know existed until we decided to part ways with MCH. The foreman only existed to be a witness during a final roof inspection. My opinion. If we had a foreman the entire time, why wasn't he there to fill in for the PM or supervise the subs? At this point there was much more to be completed. Our entire project was sent into a tail spin and we were left hanging due to their total mismanagement and lack of communication. Imagine having to take over to get your home back together after an albeit minor tornado. It was a bit overwhelming. They were paid, at a premium price for what was completed even though it didn't follow the original scope of work. We felt we were in a legal battle with someone who claimed to be looking out for us. Everything they did was written and designed to protect their company and in the end we felt like the enemy. They even tried to prevent us from reviewing them. We were forced to consult our attorney. Never in our wildest imagination did we think this is how it would end up. I would imagine they have had satisfied customers but we certainly are not one of them. None of this review is intended to discredit or disparage, it is simply an honest summary of what we as homeowners had to endure. To say the least, anyone else would have been angry and frustrated too. I'm sure there will be a rebuttal to this review probably placing the blame on us but that's what happens when a company looks out for itself over their customers. Again, my opinion. We're not, as former customers of MCH telling you not to use them. All we are saying is do plenty of research, understand why they are no negative reviews and be careful what you wish for. You just might get it.
