Came in here on a busy Saturday in the middle of summer needing a little help with wifey's bike. Someone (me) had done some amateur adjusting and repairing to her ride and it it needed to be fixed. We really couldn't have gone on riding without it getting fixed, and the owner was, thankfully, able to jump right on it, throw in a spacer on the steering tube and send us on our way. He was slammed between rentals and all kinds of other stuff and could have easily turned us away, but he didn't. Thank you very much for your help, we will be back next time we are in town! read more

Great service. Would recommend. Bike were in great condition and made the trip far more memorable. read more

Aspen Bicycles - Bike, maroon Bell Trail - Bike Rentals Near Me

Came here with 2 friends to rent electronic bikes for the day. We were easily able to walk in and rent bikes for the afternoon without a reservation. Everyone was friendly and helpful and the staff member that helped us made great recommendations on where to go. He earnestly assisted us and got us set up with our bikes quickly. Great place to rent from if you're in the area! read more

Knowledgeable shop, renting super high end cycles for affordable (for aspen). Friendly and relaxed with return times and easy rental portal. read more

Aspen Bicycles - Bike Rentals Near Me

Returned the bike a little late and they were very nice about it (I got lost going to return it). They were closing and didn't tell me why did you make me wait or anything. We are just visiting and asked if the bikes will make it to maroon bells. They told us you can get a regular bike or an ebike but they are both good. I got the ebike and it was amazing. My husband got the regular bike and he was sooooo tired but the end. They should warn the people if they are asked about the trails and how long they are or they should simply say I don't know or it's up to you. read more

This spring was the first time that I visited Aspen Bicycles. What took me so long to find this gem of a bike shop?!! Patrick, Mike, and the whole team have been incredibly knowledgeable and professional in helping me with repairs on my mountain bikes. I would highly recommend this bike shop as I feel they provide excellent customer service! read more

Couldn't say more good things about this shop. Patrick and his team are helpful and friendly. In less than a day, they assembled and tuned two bikes for my wife and I so we could enjoy them over the long weekend. Thank you again Aspen Bicycles and we will be shopping with you again soon. read more

I rented a baby carrier for my personal bike for a two day rental. The carrier was great and the service we received was outstanding! Michael made sure my bike was set up perfectly for the carrier even inflating my tires to make sure we were safe on the road. I don't think I've ever had such friendly service from a bike shop. I would definitely rent from them again! read more

Great service! Definitely take their advice on the trail that leads out od Aspen to an adorable brewery with courtyard. If the ride back from the brewery is too daunting or you have a few too many brews- there are many taxis that are bike equipped to DD for you and your bike!!! The ride was GORGEOUS!!! - cliffs, small waterfalls, beautiful views, etc... will definitely do it again if in Aspen during the summer :) read more

We rented performance road bikes over July 4 weekend. Patrick's attention to detail was impeccable, from confirming our bike sizes and bike cleats days before we arrived to making sure we were ready to go when we picked up the bikes. We will be back for the dozens more rides we want to do in the Aspen area! read more

I called the night before for a rental and Patrick had it all ready to go when I showed up at 7am on the dot. He's friendly and knowledgeable, yet got me in & out of the shop very efficiently since I had some time constraints. The bike (a carbon LaPierre with Shimano 105) was a buttery ride, fit me (5'2") well, and good value on such a nice bike at $45/half day. It looked like he had some nice MTB options as well. Between the awesome owner, quality bikes that actually fit smaller women, and 7am opening time in summers, I'm a fan. read more

We rented 2 electric bikes. The staff was very helpful, supportive, and encouraging. The bikes were great quality--much better than those we rented in Glenwood Springs. read more

Rented bike for an hour. Easy in and out. Nice bike. They gave me suggestions on where to go. Very laid back and casual experience.

I rented a hybrid for the day and tide to Basalt. About 40 miles. Anyway the shop staff especially the owner Patrick are super helpful. I had to get one of his awesome jerseys. Patrick stresses he only rent hi end mtn bikes and carbon road bikes. He also has the basic hybrid i rented, $34/day in 6-17. read more

I recommend Aspen Bicycles! The service was great. My fiancé and I came from out of town to visit Aspen. We wanted to rent bicycles to ride the Rio Grande Trail to Glenwood Springs. I pre-ordered the bikes ahead of time online, but I accidentally chose the wrong size and type of bike. Patrick was very accommodating and helped us choose the right bicycles. He even refunded me for the difference (the bikes I chose before were more expensive). read more

Patrick and the team have great equipment and are fast and convenient. I highly recommend them.

Great service and very friendly staff! Bikes were also in great condition. I highly recommend this place. My one complaint was that we had to pay a taxi to take the bikes back from Woody Creek Tavern back to Aspen. I know, some of the other companies will pick up there complimentary. That said, I would rent again because the owner was so lovely and flexible with our timing! read more

Great service and very nice equipment. We got 2 bikes with trail-a-long bikes attached for my daughters and a mountain bike for my son. Very reasonably priced and easy to get to (right next to gondolas). We've used other bike shops in the past and this is the best one by far! Highly recommend. read more

Aspen Bicycles - Bike Rentals Near Me

I brought my bicycle in for a repair after someone local referred me. Patrick was THE BEST! I have been living several years now in SF where bike shops are on every corner. So when I go out of town, I have to rely on Yelp to find a good shop. But this time, I had several locals refer me here. Service was AMAZING. So good, in fact, I bought my new bike here and had Patrick ship it home. TAX FREE! I bought a LaPierre based solely on Patrick's strong sales pitch, I love my new bike and I can't wait to come back to aspen to ride again next year!! read more

Friendly shop that doesn't make you feel like they're doing you a favor by accepting your business and dollars. They do what they say they'll do and they do it when they say they will. Patrick says, "Thank you" and he means it. That goes a long way in a town (and category) where customer service is sometimes lacking. read more

Very friendly & helpful with local road cycling info even though I bought only fuel & a tube

Excellent and friendly service, great bicycles and very reasonable prices. I can't imagine that anyone can do it better than Scott and Patrick. We will definitely rent from them again. read more

Patrick gave me a bike fit on my Jamis and my cycling improved tremendously. I also used him for new tires, tunes, brakes etc and found him reliable and trustworthy. I then purchased a LaPierre sensium ultegra component group and am so pleased with the price and the quality of the bike. I wish he would come with me to my winter home! read more

Bad experience with the English gentlemen at the desk. Not the Aspen warm welcome or business savvy employee I've experienced at other rental locations in the area. I will take my rental needs elsewhere. Also don't appreciate this salesman saying "I'm busting my balls here". Very unprofessional. read more

Very friendly and helpful staff. Bike tune up was completed on time and very reasonably priced. Will certainly return for any bike repair.

Great service and competitive prices. Great bikes. Good recommendations for rides. Very fast

Great shop with personal attention from the owner...gets you a nice fit and Thanks you for your business.

This review is for repair service. Patrick, the owner, is undoubtedly the best repairman in town. He's like the bike whisperer! I've been taking my bike to get serviced from him since on and off from when he worked for AJAX bike and sport. Never had anything but great service from him. The only issue I had with the new shop was that when I brought my Specialized TriCross in for a "tune up special" I was told that it didn't qualify because it was a "cross bike" - even though it has no suspension or disc brakes. Ok, Patrick is a good enough repairman to not quibble about the $20 price difference. But when I rode it and it wasn't shifting correctly I was disappointed and had to bring it back. It was adjusted immediately and corrected the second time, but for the overcharging and not getting the job done right the first time, my review stays at 4, not 5 stars. I'm fairly sure Patrick didn't tune my bike so I give this a pass overall. If you have to trust one place to do a repair, and Patrick will work on it, I have no qualms about recommending Aspen Bicycles. read more
