Additionally, they've fixed a handful of plumbing problems, again without issue. Most recently, they installed wifi thermostats for us on common makers, a tricky install that allows old two-wire systems to host powered digital thermostats. The new thermostats were buggy and kept shorting out, but Andy and his team were tireless in their efforts to troubleshoot the problem multiple times until they identified the problem and found a solution, all while honoring their original installation at no extra charge. Their rates are also reasonable and fair. I can't recommend Ridgeline Mechanical enough.

All American Heating - Mike and Liam: the experienced boiler techs I'd been looking for…read more I have a Viessmann dual-boiler heating system, and finding a plumbing/HVAC company in Summit County with real experience on this German equipment felt impossible. Every company I tried claimed experience. Almost none of them were. Past techs spent hours milling around my boiler room over multiple days, on the phone with Viessmann's customer service reps, unable to pinpoint what was wrong with my boilers. Their solution? Sell me an entirely new system ($40,000 to $60,000 each for two boilers), because they couldn't figure out mine. Weeks went by waiting on what should have been simple, basic parts. One company quietly pulled out of Summit County altogether -- after charging me their hourly rate to stand around not fixing anything. I could have made those phone calls to Viessmann's customer service myself. So instead of trusting online reviews -- many of which seem bogus -- I went to Viessmann's own website and looked up who they recommend in Summit County: All American Heating. I called, and their customer service rep was genuinely, exceptionally helpful, getting me an appointment with Mike and Liam within just a few hours, THAT SAME DAY!! Given my past experience, I expected the worst. Within minutes, Mike and Liam diagnosed the issue, had the parts on hand at their Silverthorne office, and fixed it. They knew Viessmann. They also knew dozens of other domestic and foreign heating systems. And instead of pushing me towards a new system, they repaired mine with parts they had on hand, and recommended routine maintenance to significantly extend each boiler's useful life - not just a few years, but a decade or more. They even worked through the maze of computer programming needed to tune the system for optimal efficiency -- all in minutes without having to call Viessmann. I waited for the other shoe to drop, but it never did. That's the modern reality: a good plumber now has to be a computer programmer too. Mike and Liam at All American are honest and VERY experienced. Over 16 years, I've used about eight different plumbing/HVAC companies (very large and small) in Summit County across multiple properties, and Mike and Liam are, by far, the best. They're punctual too -- given a 1-5 pm window, they arrived at 1:10. Also, All American Heating's maintenance program is reasonably priced and keeps the system running at peak efficiency while extending its life - all with many discount perks included. Be careful who you choose, and don't trust bogus online reviews. There's so much garbage on the internet these days -- even from companies that supposedly screen their vendors. Go to the manufacturers themselves and see who they actually recommend. What a relief to finally find a boiler/HVAC company that has the experience it claims. Thank you, Mike and Liam. Finally, we told him that we would find someone else to do the work and that we just want our money back. He has not responded to any of our texts in the past few weeks and has not refunded us the money. As of now, we have missed out on serving gelato all summer because we couldn't get these sinks put in. If he hadn't lied to us, signed a contract and taken our money we could have hired another plumber and scheduled out the build-out so we could serve gelato during the summer season. Now we are basically set to sell gelato for winter instead. We wish he would have just been honest with us and told us he was too busy if he didn't have time to take on the job rather than agree to do it and take our money and never return our phone calls and texts. We recommend not hiring Tracey Tucker because he was not honest with us and scammed us out of our time and money. If you do hire him, we highly recommend not to pay him until the work has been completed. I'm sure he is a nice guy but he did not do right by us and our business. You would think other small business owners would understand what it's like to have a small business, but he does not seem to care.

It is extremely unsettling to see people take advantage of other community members in the way that Tracey takes advantage of people. I don't think that Tracey is a bad person, but I am upset that he won't honor his word or give back the money if he is not going to do the work. I highly recommend looking for a different plumber than this guy. He will just lie to you and rip you off. It is extremely upsetting.
