CAVEAT EMPTOR UNACCEPTABLE SERVICE, IMPROPER REASSEMBLY, AND DAMAGE TO MY VEHICLE…read more My experience with Mercedes-Benz of Orland Park was completely unacceptable and far below the standard expected from a Mercedes-Benz dealership And The MERCEDES BRAND USA as i contacted them and heard nothing to report the service . After servicing my vehicle, the dealership installed a part incorrectly and returned the vehicle without properly inspecting its work. My vehicle also had extensive damage that was not present when I brought it in. The leather and seats were cut and scratched, other areas of the interior were scratched, and the exterior of the vehicle was scratched as well. A portion of the cigarette lighter/ashtray compartment was also broken. The dealership placed the large, dirty protective vehicle cover inside the passenger area and left it across my back seat. I was allowed to drive all the way home without anyone telling me it was there. I did not discover it until my daughter asked what the dirty cover was doing in the back seat. I am attaching photographs that clearly show: The part that was installed incorrectly The cuts and scratches to the leather and seats The scratches and damage throughout the interior The scratches to the exterior of the vehicle The broken portion of the cigarette lighter/ashtray compartment The dirty protective cover left inside my vehicle These photographs show exactly how Mercedes-Benz of Orland Park returned my vehicle to me. I immediately contacted Mercedes-Benz USA and was told that a case had been opened. I was given a case number and expected someone to contact me about the improper work and damage. Despite being assigned a case number, I never received the promised follow-up or any meaningful resolution. This was not a minor inconvenience. My vehicle was improperly reassembled, damaged inside and outside while in the dealership's care, and returned to me in an unacceptable condition. My complaint was then ignored. A luxury dealership should carefully inspect its work and treat every customer's property with professionalism and respect. Mercedes-Benz of Orland Park failed to do so. I own two Mercedes-Benz vehicles and have supported this brand, but this experience has completely changed how I feel about Mercedes-Benz. Because of the improper workmanship, extensive damage, lack of accountability, and failure to follow up, I will never purchase another Mercedes-Benz. Mercedes-Benz of Orland Park and Mercedes-Benz USA need to accept responsibility, correctly install the part, repair all interior and exterior damage, and explain why my complaint was never properly addressed. This is unacceptable business practice for any dealership--especially one representing the Mercedes-Benz name. I have damage to the outside photos as well

Matt said it would be $647.00 total out the door with the actuator, motor and shaft. Monday 1/8/24 I called to inform (lots o fun) I was on my way they said ok see you soon! Once I got there Matt told me $100.00 over what I was told on the phone Saturday. When I reminded Matt what he said he said it was a price increase and started to get loud and rude yelling do you want it or not? Then said I'll do you a favor I'll put it back on the shelf and you can go buy it somewhere else! Race? Ignorance? Lack of business skills? Whatever the case is I wasted nearly 2 hours driving there and back. But I kept my Dignity, my Cool and my CASH! Way to go Genuis send the customer away with $650.00 cash in his pocket! p.s. I wasted my time trying to have it done at Pep Boys, they were going to take hours to do it and then told me they won't install used tires. That took like 20 minutes and 30 bucks and I was on my way, pain free. Now I just need to quit bumping the planter next to my driveway.

BEWARE. People need to be aware that this shop will take…read moreadvantage of you and lie straight to your face! Women! Do NOT trust this place! I was told it would cost $3,500- $3,800 to fix my car after paying $80 to diagnose my car. And this shop reported this to CARFAX. I was told the part was only available from the car manufacturer for $1,799 and there was no after market version of the part. Keep in mind, there were absolutely NO symptoms of the problem they told me it could be. Plus I looked up the part they mentioned and found it after market, refurbished , or oem for $200- $1,000 (AT MOST!) . NOT $1,799. Still, this caused me a lot of distress. I went to another mechanic shop and found out that this was NOT the issue at all. And the only thing the car needed = $400. Nagels lied to me about what was wrong, lied to me about the cost of parts, mis diagnosed my car and still charged, tried to take me to the cleaners, AND this is on CARFAX now! They depreciated the value of my vehicle. After my experience, I wouldn't trust this shop even to change the oil on my car. Nagels is the stereotypical mechanic shop that everyone warns you about. DO NOT TRUST THIS SHOP!
