Whoever they have cooking knows what they are doing. They also listen to make sure they get your order right. I am very picky and I give a lot of instruction on how I want my food and they have never fumbled an order yet; they give me precisely what I am asking for. The food is never dry. I used to get food here all the time but i recent moved further away so i haven't been able to come as often. I got food from there tonight and order sesame beef. Which in the description states it's "slices of prime beef, quickly sauteed and pan flipped". I was given sesame chicken which is deep fried, I called and she told me she saw them make it and it was beef. I've never seen white beef before. she also told me it was suppose to be deep fried but that's not what the description says and it's not what i ordered. We went back and my boyfriend went inside they laughed in his face and told him they never realized the menu was wrong, took the food and gave me back $20. I've never had this kind of service before. It's disappointing i used to really enjoy the food here but this service is just unacceptable. read more

By far the worst Asian food I have ever had. Tried the drunken noodles and chicken pad thai and they were aweful!!! Stay away from this place it is bad! I had to add pepper and salt because there was no flavor at all to either of these dishes. read more

This is my family's go to Chinese take out place. The Sambal shrimp is a must! Their General Tsao is a little too sweet. They have a selection of Thai and Malaysian items on their menu. Good consistent quality. read more

I love many of the dishes here. The drinkun noodles have a basil and are just the right spicy. The chicken in garlic sauce is delicious. I also like the Singapore rice noodles / curry mai fun . They are also a local family business which I feel good about supporting. The teenage daughter often helps take orders, the Dad cooks, and the Mom does both. read more

We ordered delivery from them on opening night. Our food arrived almost 3 hours later. We were told it was "on its way" a couple of times far before that. When the food arrived, some little Chinese dude dripping in sweat came, looked like he had just been tortured by Colonel Klink or something and apologized 100 times, said they were very busy LOL Food: It was OK. Nothing special. I'm willing to give them another try but from the other 2 review I read, sounds like this place will be short-lived. I've given this restaurant several chances over the last few years, but this weekend was the last. I will never eat here again. The pad thai is terrible. It is neon pink and bland. I had found their pad see ew to be ok in the past, but what I got this weekend was a congealed mess of bland noodles, with hardly anything else in it; 2 measly pieces of chicken and a few sad julienned carrots. On top of the crummy food, I ordered carryout through Eat24, since that's the only option for ordering online. Because I actually signed up for an account with them, I get a weekly coupon e-mailed to me every week. When I placed my order, I used this coupon and it was accepted. When I got to the restaurant, they charged me full price and told me the coupon was only good for orders over $15. The coupon SPECIFICALLY says on orders over $10. Why bother using a service like Eat24 if you can't even honor their promotions? So basically, the food is terrible, the service is terrible and Asian Taste is a complete and utter waste of time. read more

Asian taste is my favorite carry out asian restaurant on the Eastern Shore. I have ordered carry out from them numerous times. I ordered delivery from them once on opening night, and yes the service was slow, but I can understand them being overwhelmed. Every visit the food has been spectacular. I have had both their sushi and combination plates. The staff is kind and incredibly accommodating. For dining in I find the decor a little lack luster. But flavor, value, customer service, and variety my vote goes to Asian Taste! I feel that the previous reviews, were not being fair. Worse food I ever had, the so called Hibachi it's a LIE!!! They lie to me on the phone , I ordered 2 file mignon with vegetables fried rice and noodles and order of shrimp, LOL they got me really good, I'm so stupid for trusting this people, it's not Hibachi at all it's Chinese food, the same beef they put on beef with brócoli it's not JAPANESE FOOD, THIS PLACE IS A FRAUD! Hands down best Asian food in salisbury. If you're looking for sushi, I'd stick with ikebana, but otherwise this place is the bomb! I always get the general tsos, which is fantastic. My boyfriend likes the Singapore rice noodles, which he says are the perfect amount of spicy. The staff is always very kind and remember us! Definitely a go to. read more

I'm surprised about how low some of the reviews are. I was looking for a Chinese place in Salisbury and got delivery. It was very good so I got it many times after. Over the years I attended Salisbury for undergrad I always got delivery with Chinese food. I got food about once a month here and was never disappointed. They have good soup, good crab wontons, and good/sticky rice. I've gotten a variety of dishes that have never been disappointed. read more

I order from Asian Taste on a pretty regular basis--always walking in to carry out. I'm a little surprised to see such low reviews, since I've always gotten good food from them. Actually, his is my favorite of the Chinese food places I've tried in the area. Among my favorite things of thiers is their singapore noodles, their shrimp fried rice, their sesame chicken, and, surprisingly, their shrimp toast (I've never really been a fan of shrimp toast, but I rarely pass up one if it's from Asian Taste). The interior is small and doesn't look impressive, but it's pretty standard for every primarily-carry-out Chinese food place I've ever been in. There are maybe half a dozen tables to sit at, but it's clear that most of their business relies on carry-out and delivery. While Asian Taste doesn't go above-and-beyond with their dishes (as if it were a bit of an up-scale asian restaurant), the staples of my Chinese-food-carry-out cravings are always spot on. The only drawback, in my opinion, is that you have to remember to request egg in your fried rice (if you like egg in your fried rice, which I do), and request hot mustard if you like that at all. read more

I love this place. I have been here 5 times and have loved the food each time. The dine in experience is delightful and the pickup times are quick. I have not ordered for delivery because I live down the street, so I cannot comment on that aspect. I love the basic General Tso's chicken and you get many side extras for free. The sushi is good, actually great. But the service - pick up & delivery - BLOWS. We've done both several times. I hate to leave such a poor review when the food is good, but service is a big factor & for us this has been a consistent issue. Please note: I can't say anything about sit down because the place is icky inside that we've never taken advantage of that option. The service we have experienced has been less than mediocre every single time. Might have something to do with the girl at the main desk being glued to her cell. Might not..... Bottom line: If you're willing to wait it out then you'll likely be pleased when you eat. But if you're expecting delivery - via pick up or to your door - to be timely and reasonable then I can only suggest choosing somewhere else. read more

We ordered Drunken noodles (Thai) with medium spice and were pleasantly surprised by the good taste. The chicken fried rice was not that great, too much of soy sauce. The Thai red curry sauce was good and tasty. We felt it was nice to have a place where you can order some take out and actually enjoy it. The miso soup was okay, nothing out of the ordinary. The following week, we ordered Pad Thai noodles. If you never tasted Thai food you would not know how bad they could mess a good dish. It was plain unpalatable. Oily and fried tofu in it had a repulsive after taste, not sure if the oil used was left over fried oil. Don't ever order this dish, they had no idea how to make it. The Udon noodle soup (veg & tofu) was okay, a bit oily but the spice level was appropriate. Not a lot of veggies in it though. If you like quantity over quality, this is the place. Choose carefully what dishes you want since the dishes go from "Wow" to "Awww". Sort of roll of the dice, I guess. read more

They forgot our fortune cookies and when I called to ask how much longer the lady on the phone was RUDE! "Meh. I've experienced better" is the best description I have for this place. This place deserves 3 and a 1/2 stars on food, but the ambiance is so.... poor. It is pretty good for this side of the state. I'm from montgomery county which is on the opposite side of the state, and the chinese food here is so good and fresh that they have fish tanks to keep the bass and trout alive for only $15 each. Ordered a meal for my family got a tuna roll (tuna smelled very bad), 2 General tso's got 2 watery orange chicken, Lobster chow mein was not lobster it was crayfish and immatation crab and more like soup. The employee argued rudly saying it was baby lobsters haha, cheese crab wontons were soggy and cold. Ordered 2 pork fried rice 1 white rice got 3 white and a brown rice with no pork or vegetables in it. Oh and the order total was $59 and change and was charged $69 and change on my card. Will never order from here again. Oh and my daughter and son are now sick from the food. Ordered delivery for an order of shrimp (8) and an order of pork dumplings(6). Delivery was fast. When they arrived I had to keep myself from eating all of them but the shrimp dumplings were amazing so I finished them. They were filled with shrimp and came with a salty and spicy soy dipping sauce. The pork dumplings were equally as good but I didn't finish two of them cause I was stuffed. I saved them for later but was not able to eat them until 2 days after but by then they weren't good. I'm craving them now so I will probably get some tomorrow. read more

This is usually where I get my Chinese at, it's pretty much the only place in Salisbury that knows how to make fried rice. I do not like Hunan Palace because it tastes like they fry with bacon grease, and I don't like The Ginger House because everything there has a funny taste. I wouldnt even know The Ginger House, but tonight I tried calling this place and they did not answer. It went to a voicemail I couldn't understsnd. The sushi is Ok. Sometimes not fresh and you get a extremely fishy taste. The chinese food is below average. Ikanbena has best sushi but they are cheap on the meat. Here the roll is better size.
