She worked with me to avoid the things I hate about massage (effleurage and Swedish in general) and worked the way my body needed it. She holds space and is a wonderful woman with an inspiring story. If you are looking for a great massage therapist, give Amanda a try! I really can't say enough good things.

Digestive issues can be uncomfortable and complicated, but she approaches it with such professionalism, care, and understanding. The abdominal work has genuinely helped ease tension and discomfort. Beyond that, her deep tissue massage is incredible. She knows exactly how to find and release problem areas, and she always addresses any other aches or concerns I mention. It's therapeutic, intentional work not just a routine massage. If you're looking for someone who truly listens, understands the body, and provides both relief and relaxation, Relax & Renew is it. Highly recommend.

First it took weeks to get an email reply back to even schedule the appointment. I finally get a 1 pm appt. The day of the appointment I arrive on time with my best friend only to sit in the lobby for 35 mins and to be told my another young lady who has a business in the same office building that the young lady who owns serenity 824 was there with another client. She never one time came out to acknowledge me or my friend. She never communicated not even by email that she was running behind and would be late for our appt. So essentially we left without ever been acknowledged or serviced and for that I am extremely disappointed. I emailed for weeks to get the appointment only for this to be the end result. I am a very understanding person and just a little bit of communication would have been greatly appreciated. You have no idea what a persons situation is or what they go thru to make scheduled appointments. I will never recommend your business smh

First time I didn't complain because I got a new customer discount and chalked it up to needing to try a different therapist maybe. Needless to say, massage was still nothing to write home about. Your experience may differ, so good luck.

Placement of hot towels during the massage was something unique that I really liked. My last session was booked before my groupon expires, but she had to cancel due to a family emergency. I was already at the place waiting at a locked door when I received a text message of this after I got there. I tried to be sympathetic and understanding, even though I wasn't notified earlier before I drove all the way there, so I let this go. It took me numerous times to contact and rebook my appointment. I left messages only to have nothing returned. Seemed the only way to book my next (and last) appointment was through the online web site. I've set the appointment on the Saturday of labor day weekend, since I would like to end my busy week with a relaxing massage. I've got confirmation emails and texts of the appointment the day of. At this point, my groupon was expired since my last appointment was cancelled on me and couldn't get a hold of anybody during the elapsed time to reschedule my appointment, so I called several hours before my appointment to confirm if I can still use the groupon and to avoid any confusion when I arrive. Of course, nobody answered, just left a voice mail. 30 mins before my scheduled appointment, Ramell called me back about the groupon. She said it was expired and I could only use it as credit towards the massage. Even though I reminded her that she cancelled on me and I couldn't get any other appointments until now, it didn't change the fact that my groupon was expired and would only be used as $45 credit towards the $90 massage so I had to pay $45 extra for my last massage. I didn't want to argue about it so we I figured ok fine, I'll just pay for it since I needed the massage. So I agreed to pay the extra $45 and had the appointment confirmed. I arrived 10 mins before my scheduled appointment time, went for the door - locked. Knocked, no answer, there was nobody inside and no other cars were in the parking lot. I called back to see what's going on but no answer. I waited 15 mins after my appointment in front of the door thinking this could be another "family emergency," but still nothing, no notification or call. I called again, no answer. I was very upset and disappointment at this point and decided not to waste my time and just got out of there. I couldn't believe that after talking to her not even 30mins ago that she decided not to show up and just close. I'm astonished at how this place is still up and running when they don't take their customers seriously and just bail on people's scheduled appointments whenever they want. They couldn't even call back or leave a message saying they had to cancel my appointment. Very poor customer care and unprofessional. I had a good experience the first two times but this left a very bitter taste in my mouth since I got treated this way twice. It's a shame it turned out like this. I won't be coming here ever again.
