She really puts in a lot of effort and must care deeply for her clients because she genuinely strives to make your muscles feel better. I really appreciate her work and talent! I don't know how she does it. I also recommend Amanda. I noticed she was on their website when I went to make my third appointment with Laura today. I recognized her from my massages at my chiropractor's office a while back. She is GREAT! I appreciated her attention to my complaint areas. They sure have...but there is a sense of zen at Mia's that I really haven't found any where else. The entire place is decorated to really be conducive to your relaxing experience. The place is quiet, unlike many other massage places, which tend to be a bit more noisy with people talking in the hallways, interrupting your semi-conscious state while receiving your massage. Here, there is no danger of that. The ladies all talk in hushed tones, quietly, making sure not to be disruptive. Unlike other places, you also don't hear their phones ringing off the hook while you are getting your massage. The place is VERY clean as well. They have aromatics throughout the place so that you are inhaling the experience as well as the physical sensory enjoyment. They don't just offer massage. Their menu includes acupuncture which is something I want to try as I am a chronic pain sufferer. Haven't tried it yet, but its on the agenda. They also offer pre natal massages and are skilled in them. It is very important to have someone knowledgeable when getting a massage during pregnancy as their are certain pressure points known to induce labor. Your therapist must be careful to avoid those (NURSE WARNING: Please do not get a massage in your first and final trimester without consulting your doctor first -- second trimester is the safest time). They also offer infant massage to help soothe your baby, a wonderful thing if you have a colicky baby who has trouble sleeping. Along with their massage offerings, they have spa treatments as well like herbal wraps, foot therapies, body wraps and various facial treatments which, as a dermatology nurse, I highly recommend to those who are seeking eternal youth! They also offer various waxing treatments, eyebrows to brazilians to get your body summertime ready. Some of their experiences are a little on the pricey side, maybe costing more than other places, but it is all worth the cost. Average price is between $30 to $60 depending on the amount of time you have booked. Pretty reasonable. They have a DIEHARD policy of NO CELL PHONES, something that is very important to those of us who are persistently on call and cringe at the sound of a ringing phone while trying to relax. All their staff is licensed and trained in various techniques, so you know you are always going to get a quality experience. Only problem I ever have is they are usually booked well in advance, so sometimes, if you wake up achy and looking to get in, they can't always accommodate you, but they really do their best to try and always call you back if they have a cancellation. Highly recommend Mia's if you want to escape the hustle and bustle of your busy life, if only for an hour or so.

She employees multiple massage techniques that were able to relieve a sports injury in the shoulders and loosen my IT bands. Brianna did a good job but since I paid for add on brow wax it seems my 90min fascial was short because from start to finish with add on was only about 75min. She did a good job otherwise.
