I knew this place was different when I walked in and I had to fill out a form regarding my preferences for a full body massage (light, medium or hard pressure), and what areas needed work the most. They took me as a walk in with no waiting. I told my masseuse I wanted very light pressure. He followed through and asked periodically if the pressure was too hard. I went here awhile ago for a deep tissue massage and I honestly don't think the therapist I had was licensed or trained in massage. Additionally there is zero ambiance. The rooms don't even have doors - just a curtain. My therapist barely spoke English and when I told him that I changed my mind and only wanted 30-minutes, he had to go tell the boss and get permission before telling me that was OK. Love this place! I have gotten a 60 minute full body massage and foot reflexology here. I have never had an issue scheduling an appointment- they have a lot of availability. I am currently pregnant so wasn't sure what to expect. When I went in for the full body massage they had prepped the room with lots of pillows and made sure I was comfortable. They knew where they could put more pressure and where they had to go light due to the baby. They were very attentive and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. It was the same experience for the foot reflexology. Every masseuse I have had has been very nice and has done a good job. I can't wait to go back when I can get a deep tissue massage. This was my first and last time visiting Anna's Massage Therapy. I had booked an appointment for a 60-minute Swedish massage, and upon arriving, the receptionist confirmed what type of massage I'd be receiving. However, the masseuse began administering a deep-tissue massage instead, which was much stronger than what I had wanted. When I told her that I had asked for a Swedish massage, she seemed surprised. That alone wasn't a huge deal, but my boyfriend told me afterward that when he had paid for the service (it was my birthday), the receptionist had laughed at him for not tipping more than he already had. This is literally the best massage place I've ever been to. I drive over from Tampa to go to Annas. The therapists are so professional and I rarely have to tell them what area is bothering me. They do a once over the minute I lay down, identify them problems and fix them. Even the 30 min chair massage helps my back and neck so much. I asked for a specific service as is for my money and the guy had absolutely no idea what I was asking and did not anything that I asked for (before the massage began). They speak 0 English and the owner is asking for cash payments . I complained once and the owner disrespectfully yelled at me from the front desk guys phone not even understanding or hearing anything I was expressing or listening to me , the owners husband quickly turned into white trash and lost all his class they been showing . The bathroom has giant roaches on the wall and there are cameras according to the receptionist so they can supervise the techs . The last time I went I find bedbugs in my pants . Be aware . There are many many places worth your money and top of it they are incredibly unappreciative and threatened me to call the police because I happened to say I didn't get what i was asking for . I think this is the cleanest and well run massage place. I started to love foot massage when I tried it in California. They are so cheap and if you ever try it...you will be hooked. Don't know how just the massage on foot feels so good. I don't need a full body massage. It's like pressure point massage on feet. It's so relaxing to me. And the price here is the best you will get around. I can do 90 minutes for similar price of 60 minutes with the traditional spa massage. This is not your sketchy place. They will do deep tissue or relaxation but you definitely have to let them know what you're looking for because the staff can really get some knots out if you ask them to. The doors are curtains and I was in a room next to the restroom with Ella. During the massage all I heard was the toilet flushing and customers going in and out. Very annoying! Then towards the end the manager kept poking her head in the room encouraging Ella to hurry. Ella gives a decent massage but that is too much $ to spend on that type atmosphere. read more

If you need a therapeutic massage or just one for sore muscles, she is the best, but I really need deep, strong massages to work out my soreness from traveling, golf and tennis and I go way out of my way to go to Anna.
