My husband got my wedding ring made at Bryson's Rock Shop last year prior to our ceremony. He…read morebrought in my current engagement ring for sizing, and all the material and stones needed for him to complete it. It was almost 400 dollars for the jeweler there (I can't remember his name; he speaks broken English) to create the band and set the stones... Even though he had the size plus another ring to go off of, the ring was too large and slid in every photo we took at the ceremony. Three months later I went to have it cleaned and the jeweler said my stones were not set correctly so he couldn't use the ultrasonic machine to clean it. Three months after that, my center stone (a one carat black diamond) almost fell out, sinking down into the setting in a way I didn't think possible. Thankfully my husband told me the jeweler said he would size it or fix it if anything went wrong... I went in today to see if he could fix it, no rush needed. I was talking with a lovely lady who worked there, moments away from spending at least one to two hundred dollars on a moldavite ring or stone, when I decided to not support a business which does not back its sellers and craftsmen under their name. David didn't give me the time of day and wouldn't even talk about fixing his mistake for less than $30. He could have said $5 and i still would've walked. With the way the world is, can't we agree we should only support people who have pride in their work and honor their word? Now I have to find someone else who will touch his work, which is done quite unconventionally. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS MAN. He does not care about you, or about the value of his word, or the impact your piece of jewelry you commissioned him to make has on you. I have recommended this store to dozens of people over the past year; I will now turn it into telling everyone to not support them.

I found lots of items that I buy at the farmers market and it's good know I can find them here during the winter. For the bad, my mom and I went in. The young lady at the counter followed us mercilessly. Not just nearby or in the same section of the store, but right next to us at all times. It felt as though we were thieves just waiting to be caught. I understand watching overall, but it was extremely uncomfortable and difficult to shop. What sealed the deal for us was there were 20% signs all over the honey side of the store. And when we asked a question about a lotion we wanted to buy, she said sorry the sale was over. Rather than honor the sale and take the signs down, she did not honor it. We decided to not to purchase because it felt wrong that it was not honored. Prices here are extremely high, which I understand with hand made local items, but to not honor a discount that was clearly marked on top of that, was off putting. It's sad because it only harms the locals putting there items in the store.
