After a long day of travel and work, I treated myself to a 90-minute massage with Dee Dee in Shreveport, and it was exactly what I needed. The front desk staff was very kind, the atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing, and I appreciated having a private room. The experience started with an incredible foot massage and then moved into a strong, full-body massage that truly helped me unwind. Dee Dee is incredibly strong, skilled, and thoughtful in her work. I am so impressed by Asia Massage. I called for a last minute appointment today and they got me in an hour later. **All COVID precautions were taken seriously, my temperature was taken at the door and my massage therapist wore a face shield and mask.** My massage was heavenly. Another past review complains about professionalism, I am a fan of not speaking a lot and coming in the room & getting to work and getting job done, I do not want small talk and have to fill out a bunch of paperwork. I know the risks and benefits walking into my appointment, if you have health concerns then get your MD for clearance before getting any kind of massage (speaking to the same negative review). I feel like a new person, don't get a deep tissue massage if you can't handle the pressure (another bad review earlier). These ladies go above and beyond for deep tissue, I enjoyed the back walking technique and I have had massages in the BVI, Maui, Jamaica, Spa concepts in Shreveport, Destiny Day spa in Shreveport, Massage Envy in Shreveport... Look no further, this is the best in town and beats the rest in my book. I am a registered nurse, and none of this occluded my spinal vertebrae or could cause spinal cord injury. It was ok. I have had better massages at other Asian spas. The woman walking on my back put way too much pressure on my back. Later she just rubbed my back using a lot of oil. No massaging of the areas that I told her that bothered me. I won't be going back there. read more

I've had many massages before since I travel a lot for work but this is by far the best place! They were super nice and sweet. Whoever works there has magical hands. Perfect pressure and everything. My husband and I were visiting from out of town and we decided last minute to get a foot massage. It was AMAZING. They did not only a foot massage but a leg massage as well. Asia Massage is the best massage store in Shreveport. My upper back was hurting and I went to the Asia Massage to get the massage for one hour. After a few times visited, my upper back pain is getting better. The lady worked for me was great! Good job and I will go there when I need. read more

The worst experience I've ever had at a reflexology place. The girl massaging literally was falling asleep! I took video of her rubbing and almost falling over. She didn't understand when I asked for more pressure (using every word and action I could think of to convey harder). Not sure where Elizabeth J was, I had a great massage for a reasonable price. Much lower than some places. Mostly I wonder why Elizabeth stayed on the table if someone had "touched her anus". And then turns over and doesn't object until someone touched her labia? Really makes no sense. I would have been gone the second time there was an "ass crack slip". That happens occasionally, I get that. But once I was sure it was intentional....that massage would be O.V.E.R. So if she's such a professional massage therapist....why did she stay on the table if it was so unsafe and unprofessional in her eyes. Sounds wonky to me. read more

This is NOT an institution following professional massage therapy state guidelines! I have been a licensed massage therapist for 10 years and received massage all over the world including Thailand and Japan. While the therapists at Asia Massage may have "training" in a style of massage, this place is NOT following the proper (legal) massage protocol in the US necessary for the privacy and safety of the general public. The lobby and rooms are tidy and appropriate. The staff was friendly, although struggled to answer any questions I asked about technique. My therapist was never introduced to me either before I entered the treatment room or after she did. So I have no idea WHAT her name is! My therapist did not ask me my medical history, in fact, there was no paperwork of ANY kind to fill out. She did not ask me what I wanted, what my trouble areas were or what my pressure preference is or if I had in injuries or skin conditions. She just appeared and started working. NOT safe, NOT professional, NOT normal. I was "covered" with a towel below my glutes, completely exposing them, during the entire time I was face down. I am not shy or embarrassed by being naked, but a client should NEVER be exposed by a massage therapist of any kind, nor should a client expose her/himself at any time. I was completely exposed when I turned over, as the towel was completely removed. During the massage, the therapist repeatedly stroked my crack, including my anus. This was not a "slip" or a "miss." She finished ALL of her long strokes of my back and glutes IN MY CRACK. NO ONE, except the woman giving me a Brazilian wax should touch my anus...EVER! Then, when she moved to working my hamstrings, her strokes were creeping closer and closer to my vagina. When she actually TOUCHED my labia I bolted up and corrected her firmly. I shouldn't have to say "NO!" to not be violated by my massage therapist!!! ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE! Trust is completely broken when a client has been violated. You cannot relax. Whatever "good work" she did on my shoulders was completely undermined by her touching my genitalia. She did not apologize. She did not say much of anything. I assume this is part of the "suggestive selling" of "rub and tug" services. I would not recommend this place to anyone. You can have a great location, a clean spa and all that...but inappropriate touching of genitalia is ILLEGAL. read more

I treated my daughter and myself to a massage here a couple of weekends ago. I was a little skeptical when not a single person there spoke English very well but I was open minded. I have had numerous massages in several different states though they are all different they have a good bit of the same general overtones. I was taken into a room where I was not given more than 2-3 minutes to get unrobed and the therapist did not introduce herself, but when she began with the massage I completely forgot why I was uneasy in the first place. She was kind and it was obvious that she knew exactly what she was doing. I feel like I got more than I paid for as far as quality. Now when we got ready to leave the lady at the desk pointed to a sign that asked that you tip. I had every intention of leaving a tip (I am actually a good tipper) but don't make me feel obligated!!
