After a visit to the salon, I know that I'll have a great cut for two days until I wash it and then it's just BLAH. I went in to see Lindsey a few days ago. I had a couple pictures, and we worked from those into the incredible cut she gave me. I asked her a ton of questions about the products she used along the way and she was happy to answer them. She took her time. She was careful. And best of all, I absolutely LOVE my cut. The salon is cute. It's a lot larger inside than what I was expecting. The other ladies working there were all very nice. Everyone seemed happy and casual and friendly and I loved the vibe. I usually hate salons because I'm so clueless when it comes to beauty stuff and I feel like I don't belong there. I feel like everyone is wondering why I think I'm good enough for a salon that isn't Super Cuts or something like that. I didn't feel this way at all here. The decor isn't anything to write home about. But I was greeted warmly. I brought a book because I don't like to chit chat and the lady respected that. There was a TV on, but it wasn't loud and I was able to tune it out. I spent an hour and a half in the chair: there is definitely first rate time being spent on customers here. The only thing I don't like, is that I did not witness sanitization nor were the tools she used on me taken out of plastic in front of me. That doesn't mean it isn't being done however. My technician is wearing gloves. So long as my toes don't become infected or chip tomorrow, I will be coming back. This has been the best pedicure experience I have had.
