I just used Ashford towing for the first time and was really impressed. I needed to have my car towed to the dealership for the second time in under a week. They arrived within 15 minutes of my call and were both professional and friendly. It cost almost $100 less than the tow I had earlier ( for only a slightly shorter distance (about 3 miles less). I was notified when it was delivered, along with a picture. While I hope not to need another tow soon, I would definitely use them again or recommend them to someone else. Worst place ever...i wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy...there's a big sign that says they accept visa and master card and when I go to pay he only wanted cash...terrible customer service the.. bill wanted to physically fight me than tried calling the cops saying I threatened him wich is absolutely a lie he gave us a price and when we showed up with the cash finally he gave us a way higher price i wish I could give a no star but the app won't let me read more

This is probably the most unprofessional shop you could ever find. Bill demands cash payment. If you have to have "warranty" work done, bill does give a warranty on the work, it could end up being months of excuses and not having your vehicle. He will scream at you if you question anything he says. He claims he doing you a favor by not charging you to do the warrantied repairs. read more

Please don't do it; do not deal with Ashwood Towing. You will regret it. Ashwood Towing has been my worst experience in dealing with an automotive repair shop! The owner and manager are not trustworthy; they will lie to you, cheat you, steal from you, and not repair your vehicle. After six months of dealing with Ashwood, I had to hire a tow truck to remove my vehicle from their yard and deliver it to another automotive repair shop. The other repair shop repaired my vehicle within a week. I don't understand how this company is still in business; it does not make sense. read more

The worst experience I've ever had with a mechanic. Got a recommendation called Bill he quotes me $200 labor and buy my own parts for power steering leak. Tells me to get the pressure hose, the metal piece that goes underneath, and the reservoir. Take it in after hours his mechanic will only take cash says the receipt machine is down, it wasn't they have receipt paper. They never did an actual inspection on my van. The power steering is still leaking. Take it back 3 days later he replaces the o ring and demands more money to which I reply no I already paid you what should have been replaced in the first place and you didn't even replace the pressure hose which I paid 145 bucks for the kit. Van still leaking. Bill calls my sister who recommended him and says he will never do business with me again as if I would actually take my van back to a con artist. Take my van to Honda pay an additional 70 bucks for diagnostic and come to find out the hose they should have replaced is the reason for the leak. Now I'm out almost 500 bucks have to take my car into a new mechanic and pay another 500 to fix the pressure hose and serpentine belt that the power steering fluid leaked all over. I will be calling the better business bureau. read more

Bill offered me free towing, free estimate (that no other transmission place could match), and free towing to return my vehicle free of charge if I didn't like the estimate. Bill assured me that my make and model the repair would not exceed $650. Bill called me the day after the tow and told me he was going to charge me $200 to estimate the repair that would not exceed $1850. I asked him to return my vehicle to me to which he responded I had to pay $137 cash for the tow to his shop if I came and picked the vehicle up and $275 cash if he had it brought back to me. I told him he did not mention any price other than free for the towing to or from his location and that I expected for him to live up to the oral contract. Bill became very hostile on the phone to the point I discontinued the conversation to let him cool off. Bill began texting that he was charging $75 a day storage and referred to me as ignorant. Bill texted that "this isn't burger king where you have it your way," that I needed to "check into a psycho clinic. That there is help for [me] out there," that "we are not going to be negotiating anything," and added colorful words about me such as "scumbag," "stupid," and "ridiculous." Bill expressed his company would be taking ownership of my vehicle in his last text to me. read more
