When I got there, it looked like a really outdated dry cleaners. Nothing like the website. This really isn't a big factor in the 1 star rating, just merely an observation. They could have been amazing and had a crappy looking store, but they weren't. So I go there to see about getting my bridesmaid skirt hemmed. I put it on and get it pinned. I ask how much it is going to be and she says over $100...!!!! yikes. That is a lot. I have no clue if that is normal or not, but my mom said it should only be around $50 dollars. So I just said I think that is too high for me and wanted to leave....but apparently there was a sign that said it was 15$ charge for just LOOKING at the piece.... I feel like I should have been verbally informed....like most companies do. Like..if a business wants to charge you extra for like food or something they say hey, this is gonna cost so much more $ and then you can agree with it or not. This place was just sneaky as hell. Like I spent 15 dollars for nothing. And they said that "time is money" ok...but you literally looked at my skirt for 2 minuets. Just...don't go here, ya'll.

I did my wedding gown alterations with Natali and absolutely loved the service and personal touch…read more I think some of the reviews around her "harshness" are a bit unfair given that English is not her first language - she was wholly kind and pleasant in every encounter. She made clear what her plans were for alterations and checked in frequently to ensure I was happy with it throughout the process. I would personally very much recommend this business.

Overall very uncomfortable experience and I will never go back. I told my bridal shop to stop…read morerecommending her as a seamstress. I made this appointment almost a month ago and told her that my wedding is early June. She did not mention that this would not be enough time to alter my dress when I initially booked the appointment over the phone. She didn't ask any follow-up questions and just booked me. Fast forward to today, I go in and arrive 15 minutes early to be courteous and punctual. I awkwardly stand there for 5 minutes without any acknowledgment, and then a women (I'm assuming is her) comes over and takes my dress. When she is going to hang it up, I asked her if it was okay that I brought a second dress (my rehearsal dinner dress) but before I could even finish she harshly cuts me off and told me "you need sit down, I have another client". I was very taken aback but how rude she was and it honestly caught me off guard. It was so bad I almost debated just taking my dress back and leaving but because I had waited a month for this appointment and my wedding was in a month, I figured I might as well see it through. Huge mistake. I change into my dress and describe to her the alternations I was looking for, which is to shorten it a little and also remove the breast cups. I did not think it was a significant amount of alternations but she seemed to think so. She then proceeded to tell me that she "may" be able to do it, but then looked at her calendar and said that she couldn't guarantee it. I honestly was so confused because she knew my wedding date when she booked this consultation appointment. If it wasn't something that could be done I feel she should've just told me up front rather than let me wait until the appointment. At that point I didn't even put up a fight as in the back of my mind, I knew I wouldn't have been comfortable with her altering my dresses anyways. She gave off the impression that if anything needed tweaking or wasn't to your satisfaction you would be SOL. All in all, a huge waste of my time. It would've been less of a bad experience if she wasn't so rude upfront. I'm starting to think her 5-star google reviews are faked, as at least on Yelp there are a few honest reviews that mention her bad attitude to her clients so it seems to be a common theme. I have no doubt she would've done a good job at the alternations, but that trust was gone.

In our final fitting, my mother and MOH looked at each other, completely overwhelmed of how to help me into my dress on the big day, and with five days before the wedding, my mom asked to hire her as our day-of concierge/assistant, and Michelle dropped everything to help! With an affordable price for her service, her presence was not only outstanding, it was invaluable. We didn't realize how much we needed her until the big day came. While myself as the bride was pretty cool as a cucumber, my mother was (for lack of a better word), a hot mess. Michelle not only took care of my needs (and thought of everything), but made sure my mother was calm, cool, and collected so she could enjoy the final moments of getting ready. Michelle came fully equipped with an arsenal of tools, a steamer, and such an amazing personality. She thought of all the small details, assisted the photographers and fluffed my dress as needed. She was prompt, friendly, helpful, kind, understanding, and all the things. Her alterations were stunning and I felt so comfortable and like a queen on my big day. She was there for all the moments and all the details, ensuring the ladies and men were properly ready to walk down the aisle and party at the reception. She is a dear person that felt like family that day. Would recommend her and will go back for other wardrobe design needs.
