I rented a unit in the facility in Saucier, MS which is also owned by this same Tellus in Gulfport…read more I paid two and a half months. I moved out on August 8th and had to pay the full $85 for the monthly rental rather than a prorate. I was told if I had moved out three days earlier, on the 5th I would have been given a prorate. Okay, so be it. When I moved out yesterday I left a mattress and box springs outside the door for a friend to pick up. This morning I received a phone call from the manager Keith. Normally my exchanges from Keith have been pleasant, but this morning his attitude was sharp and cynical cutting to "What are you doing with the mattress you left?" He wasn't in a patient mood to understand that it was a simple miscommunication and that of course I am willing I take care of what was accidentally left. He continued to ramble about how he has no way to deal with it, etc. I guess when you're getting money for 8 days it's all happy but when a little patience and kindness is needed, he would rather jump to a worse conclusion. My 70 year old father who has cancer jumped in the truck to go remove it and I really hope Keith can have a better day now.
