I recently had to utilize the services of Christie Tournet to update a will and do some other…read moreestate planning for my Mother. We live in Metairie and we were pleased that we can get to her office on the Northshore in just 35 minutes! Christie is thorough!! She not only provided the services we requested, but she also gave us recommendations and options that we didn't even realize we needed. She is detail oriented and an absolute pleasure to sit down with, even when dealing with difficult decisions and/or topics. Her team of Chrissy and Phyllis all work together fluently and seamlessly. The whole process went much smoother than I expected. What left the biggest impression on both Me and my Mom, was the way she listened to our concerns and explained everything to us in a way we could both clearly understand what was happening ,every step of the way. To be quite honest, I thought the cost of what we were needing to get done would be much more than it was. Mom feels like she got top-quality service at a reasonable cost and I agree. I'm planning on seeing her again to restructure my Will and Estate plan. I highly recommend Christie and her team for any legal services you may need. My Mom is 85 and to be able to get everything we needed done in one place was well worth the short hop across the lake. Christie and her team really took care of us!!

There is a high level of unprofessionalism, when it comes to communication. Several times…read morethroughout the process, we had to contact them to ask if they'd received certain documents that we were sending to them. As the sellers, we provided information for them to obtain a loan payoff, and then they called several days later to request the same information that we'd already given them. They assumed responsibility for our side of the transaction, by offering us a POA (assigning their office manager), but then never communicated to us that the closing had been completed, and that our check/copies had been sent to us, when the package would arrive, and with a tracking number. We were left to wonder if our check had been sent to us, when it would be delivered, and if a signature was needed. We tracked the package down 3 days after the closing, even though we'd paid for overnight delivery. The lack of communication made us wonder if our mtg payoff would be sent in a timely fashion. We've definitely worked with more professional title companies.

I stated I prefer Mandeville or even Beau Chene' Preferably because that is where my dad and brother live. I was also informed that there were a few places for rent in the neighborhood. The female I spoke with took my email down to email me the links to some properties. I never got anything emailed to me. A few days later I got a call from another female agent explaining that she was to call and help me and that the other agent had to leave out of town for emergency. I got the links from this new agent and the properties were good in size and price but when I saw the pictures the home was so outdated (especially the kitchen) I also need to figure out who will be cutting the HUGE YARD AND ON WHAT RIDING LAWNMOWER. ALL AND ALL I expected more from Re/Max and hope to get more info moving forward.

I always seemed like just a paycheck to them. My experience with Ron was just the opposite. I could tell from the start that he truly listened to what we wanted and only showed up properties we wanted to see. Our first home failed inspection and it was heartbreaking for me! Ron was extremely reassuring and didn't pressure me or my husband to see other houses until we (I) was ready. I would highly recommend him if you're buying or selling your home!! I promise you won't get this high level of customer service and attention anywhere else. Thank you, Ron!!
