We were exploring options on both the Northshore and Southshore, and they have expertise about all of Louisiana. If you're looking for a great realtor experience, Richard and his crew are the ones to call!

Do not rent from this place or any other first lake properties. Made myself very clear when I…read morelooked at apartments there that I did not want to hear any noise from the apartment above me because of my medical conditions (PTSD and extreme migraine headaches) and was told that I would not. The first night in the apartment I heard every foot step, people talking and even going to the bathroom. After I refused to live there , I was kicked out but told that I still had to pay 90 days rent and other cost . Well I have filed a complaint with the state attorney general's office and trying to find a lawyer to file a federal law suit against them for fraud.

I only toured this apartment complex, never lived here. But the main reason I will not live here is…read morebecause every single unit we viewed had carpet along with a carpet smell in the apartments... it smelled like dirty musty towels in the units... I hate carpet bc it always stinks. Also, a big closet was a must for me and the apartments we saw did not have large enough closets. Each apartment comes with washer/dryer, fridge, dishwasher, and (some) came with microwaves. The ladies in the front office are sweethearts and we're very welcoming. They were very informative about everything. The gate to this complex is unlocked and open during office hours.. they do electricity through Cleco and internet through Charter or AT&T. Located on a service road right by the causeway entrance.. 3 red lights away from the causeway, so a good location to commute to NOLA.

This happened 4 times in a row, each time requiring me to call back a week later to re-request it. Then it'd slip his mind again. I called today (too lazy to find another source for this product), explained my past difficulties and asked to deal with Noel directly, Noel promised to call me back with a quote. I receive a call back - not from Noel, but from the hapless salesperson who delayed my DIY project a month. When I expressed my frustration to him, he said ok, goodbye. Guess he's heard it all before. There are better flooring companies around. I'd avoid this one.

The assistant manager that came to inspect it said it was very very clean, he was impressed. They don't charge deposits, there were upfront fees to keep them from having to deal with deposit refunds. He said no worries, he had actually never seen a student's apartment as clean as that. Glad I recorded that conversation on my 0cell phone. They, WITHOUT contacting us sent a bill to a collection agency!!!!! We are not rolling over on this. I hope they enjoy being taken to small claims court and being reported to the Better Business Bureau. We are soooooooo mad. DO NOT rent from these sheisters!!! You will be sorry. Live somewhere else and check reviews. We had checked reviews and saw they were guilty of this, but I knew we'd leave it clean, and we are fortunate to have attorneys in the family! Furthermore, what kind of collections agency does not require proof that companies have or have not tried to collect bogus fees? We ought to sue them for that also.

Just do yourself a favor and stay away from Tangi Lakes. Like many other landlords in Hammond, they…read moreattempt to take advantage of their young tenants and their lack of renting experience. Alex Fenzi is beyond avaricious and repulsive, overtly flaunting his wealth within the complex with his assortment of flashy and loud vehicles, meanwhile consistently neglecting his responsibilities as a landlord. There have been instances in which they neglect to inform future tenants of major issues within proposed units, including not only pest infestations but also neglected, substandard A/C units and water heaters that lead to higher utility costs for which the residents are completely responsible and receive no form of compensation for. It is mandatory, through the terms of their lease, that every tenant is allowed cable/internet services through Charter Spectrum alone--leading to incessantly slow internet speed and frequent outages spanning the entire premises. Although they have cameras monitoring certain areas within the complex, they refuse to utilize them when made aware of instances of money stolen and damaged property on premises. Parking is a nightmare with various three bedroom units only having two spots, forcing people to park in the street or on the grass. When one of my two roommates moved out with no notice whatsoever and in doing so severed the terms of the lease she signed, Fenzi did not hold her accountable in the slightest. We were told we must cover her portion of the rent in addition to our own or we would all face a lawsuit; all this occurred just one day prior to the deadline for next months rent. Additionally, they claimed to have found damages to the carpet in her room and held us responsible for that cost as well; they later rescinded this fee when we refused to pay by citing the third tenant as solely responsible for damages confined to her room. Then they made it out to seem like they were doing us a favor. Rent from somewhere else and save yourself the inevitable headache.

I always seemed like just a paycheck to them. My experience with Ron was just the opposite. I could tell from the start that he truly listened to what we wanted and only showed up properties we wanted to see. Our first home failed inspection and it was heartbreaking for me! Ron was extremely reassuring and didn't pressure me or my husband to see other houses until we (I) was ready. I would highly recommend him if you're buying or selling your home!! I promise you won't get this high level of customer service and attention anywhere else. Thank you, Ron!!
