I've been to this salon multiple times over the past few years. Shannon, the owner, had always been…read morenice and cuts hair well. However, she books way in advance so I never can get in with her. The last time I was in, she was at the counter when the hairstylist walked me up to pay. I didn't appreciate a comment she made about how long it had been since I came in last. I know. The last year hasn't been kind to me. It wasn't a neutral comment, it was very accusatory. Self care hasn't been high on my priorities, so I don't find it appropriate to further shame me for it. All that aside, I won't be back after my most recent cut. I told the hairdresser I wanted an angled bob and showed them an inspo picture. I came in with armpit length hair so this shouldn't have been an issue. They glanced at the pic, asked me next to no clarifying questions, and proceeded to give me a chin length lord Farquaad straight bob instead. They also did not provide a mirror to see the back so it wasn't until I got home and could get a good view of the back did I realize just how different it was from what I asked for. I hoped it was the styling, but even after washing and restyling, there's no way around it. This is the second time I've cried over a haircut I've gotten from hairdressers at this salon because they just don't seem to care about what I ask for, they just do whatever they want.

I recently went to this salon for a color correction, hoping to fix my hair after nearly a year of…read moregrown-out roots that were light and ashy blonde. My goal was to have the ends of my hair lightened and toned to match my roots as closely as possible. I made it clear multiple times to my stylist that I did not want to continue dying my hair and was aiming to return to my natural color. However, when the appointment ended, I was extremely disappointed. My hair turned out to be almost black at the ends, a stark contrast to the light blonde roots I had, which was the exact opposite of what I had asked for. I tried to explain my concerns to the stylist right away, but she didn't seem to fully acknowledge the mistake. Afterward, the owner reached out to better understand what had happened, which I appreciated. However, she seemed to side with the stylist, stating that my hair looked "okay" and that it "doesn't look bad." She even offered to lighten it again free of charge, but I'm absolutely terrified of going back to a salon where this kind of damage was done in the first place. Overall, it was an awful experience. Despite reading reviews and doing some research beforehand, I've learned that you really can't trust salons to follow your requests. The damage caused to my hair has left me questioning whether I'll ever trust another stylist again. Unfortunately, I won't be returning to this salon, and I would advise others to be cautious when choosing where to go for services. And stay out of Haylee Bronson's chair. Attached are photos of my hair before showing my ashy blonde roots and red ends and the aftermath...

She had an appointment for a signature haircut and blow dry last Friday, but the owner canceled on her late Thursday afternoon because she wasn't feeling well. After the salon canceled the original appointment with less than 24 hours notice you might have thought that they would be accommodating of a long time client that couldn't get to the appointment on time due to the road closure.
