First of all l haven't posted in a while due to Covid, so l don't feel too guilty for it's length! Please have a liquid beverage close by... Feb.11..First visit l selected a chest of drawers..inquired if l could pay half or more now and balance at time of delivery, to which the sales lady said "NO"..Full payment is required, at which time l left without a purchase. I then proceeded to visit Haverty's and a few other furniture businesses, but Ashley's had what l wanted and needed. Feb. 14..Returned to Ashley's, different sales person. After reading itemized bill, l noticed a charge of approx. $120 for a 5 year protection plan on the dresser. Sales lady swore l needed it in case of damage, etc. In the future...How does one DAMAGE a chest of drawers...l declined this frill...BEWARE and read your bill BEFORE swiping your card or paying! Feb.23...Delivery date...Informed driver would arrive between 8:30 and 11:30am...I received a call at 7:20 from driver that he would arrive within 20 to 30 minutes...fine with me...better than waiting around! Now the fun really starts... #1...Two workers carted dresser in...Removed padding and plastic wrapping. Immediately afterwards one of the workers asked for some water....strange but l complied, astonished at the request so soon. #2...Dresser legs required a Phillip's head type screw driver...DRIVER asked me if l had one.. l had two which neither worked...the driver then asked if l had a DRILL, to which l replied, "NO"......He then went to his truck and returned with a drill to use...the screw heads looked more like a crescent wrench, and apparently the DRILL did the trick. #3.....After the set up there was more trash consisting of cardboard piled up on the floor....a worker then asked me if I had a trash can, as if all of it would fit in one, l replied "NO"...to indicate l had nothing to put it in....He then took the debris outside himself.. Almost finished....the end of my nightmare is within sight... While signing for the delivery, the worker's phone went off and it was a lady asking me if the delivery was to my satisfaction, to which l replied "YES", saving my details for the survey which l knew would arrive shortly....Well, it did arrive as the workers departed... It contained 4....FOUR QUESTIONS...with a scale rating of 1 thru 10.... Question1.....How likely to recommend...l replied ...2 #2...Rate delivery & setup...l replied 3...only because most waits for delivery is 2 to 3 months, mine was less than 2 weeks and l sorely needed the item.. Finally finished, all l had to do was scroll to the appropriate number and click on it.....BUT FOILED AGAIN... The numbers remained on 10 no matter, without registering anything.. Silly me.....At the very BOTTOM of the survey, it read, Survey result is ALREADY RECEIVED! Apparently my answer of YES to the phone lady was my Survey Result. Talk about Bait and Switch... In closing check your itemized bill before PAYING to avoid those frilly add ons! read more

This is just a PSA to NEVER purchase something from Ashley Furniture in Woodbridge, VA. They are not corporately run, as it is an individually operated store. We purchased an item back in July and have been through the ringer with significant delays and terrible management. Since they are not corporate run, there is no higher you can go than the store if there is an issue. All I can do it post and let people know to never shop there. I have already filed a BBB complaint. Hope this helps someone! read more

Those are the furniture that I got from Ashley trash only and bad quality and they don't want to be responsible for this matter ! 9 months waiting to be exchanged or refunded! And nothing happened they ignored you and play with customers as soon you get delivered. read more

I can see why this store got very bad reviews. The manager is a jerk. He caught an attitude when he couldn't make a sale. Walked off stThese sale signs on their door is to get you in the door. There is no sale going on. I'm a financial person. It's my job to know numbers. Marlow-Ashley-Regency are all the same company. You will get bad service from ALL of them. This is the absolute worst experience. I use yelp reviews for everything and wish I read it before buying from here. MARK MY WARNING! They will lie about when they received your furniture. They will lie about contacting you. They will lie about the delivery date. If you want your stuff, you have to do their job for them. The only thing they are efficient at is charging your card and taking your money at the time of purchase. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE AND SPREAD THE WORD! ORDERED 11/27. Was told I would receive this by 12/15. Received a text on 12/9 saying they have not received the couches from the manufacturer yet. I called 12/16 and was told they somehow magically received it already! Confirmed that day for delivery on 12/21. Called 12/20 to confirm the time and was told the person f***ed up and didn't schedule it, and the soonest it can come is 12/22. Not an issue except I took off from work to be here to receive it. So now I have to take off another day because of their ineptness. To make things better, they lied about receiving the couches on 12/16, as the warehouse noted they didn't receive it until 12/17. And they claimed they left me a voicemail to schedule delivery but have no record of the call being made and I have no saved voicemails. Save yourself the headache. Go somewhere else. This company is a joke and only cares about you until you pay them. Receiving a couch is not rocket science. Trust me. I am an actual rocket scientist. It's not this complicated. Purchased over a $5000 item and Wrong item was delivered even though me and my wife pointed out the furniture in store. I talked to both the sales person and the manager over the phone to resolved the issue and the sales person confirmed that it was wrong item sent but the manager ( Mr. Ben) denied it even he want me to pay $400 extra if I want the switch. (so disappointed with the manager that he lied about which item I pointed). So please be careful dealing with this store. Don't trust the associate or manager and read every receipt or invoice VERY VERY carefully !! I will never go back to this store. read more

This company has the absolute worst Customer Service I've ever had to deal with. I purchased a bedroom set that is on back order and has no ETA, and I went to cancel the order and get a refund, and they pretty much refused my refund, saying they don't do returns, even though I don't have any product yet. I was told she needed a managers approval and I would receive a phone call that evening. Of course I didn't receive a call. The following day I called the corporate Customer Service line and they said they need to contact the store I purchased it from, but strangely could not get a hold of anyone at the store. So she "updated my notes, and sent the store an email". It's been 3 days and I still haven't heard back. What can I tell you that the other 200 people before me haven't? I was going to save this review until I got my dining set delivered, but since it's been since 8 Dec, and I'm still waiting, I decided to write this review to say: DO NOT STEP FOOT IN THIS STORE!!!!!!!! If I could give -5 stars I would!!! I have been lied to since I made the unfortunate decision to walk in this store on 8 Dec. I told the salesperson (who I later would found out is a liar) that I had fam coming in town and needed the dining set delivered before Xmas. He assured me that would be no problem even though when I was signing the paperwork I saw 31 Dec on the computer screen. When I asked him about it, he said that date was incorrect. Well, that was a bold face lie and the lies just continued from there from everyone in this store from the managers on down. There is just too much to type about my experience so I will plead to you to NOT STEP FOOT IN THIS STORE!!! I normally read the Yelp reviews before I visit an establishment but I didn't in this case and man did I pay the price for it!! All this store cares about is the sale and they could care less when you get your furniture!! I emailed corporate like 3 times and I will give them credit that they did contact the store because every time I emailed corporate, I would get a phone call from someone at the store who would just feed me more lies about when my furniture was getting delivered!! Came in to the store this afternoon to try and locate an inexpensive dresser for a guest room. I was greeted immediately and professionally by a manager and later the salesman, Zack. There was no pressure and they got me to the area I needed to be for what I was looking for. Pretty easy process and I ended up purchasing a couch and loveseat as well.
