I learned that my Granddaughter Heather M. was going to look for a living room set, for their new home. The very first one they ever got brand new, always had hand me downs for the past 11 years, so when they moved into their first new home I had told them this is were I got my lounger sofa about 3 years ago and how helpful and the people were very friendly. The lady helping her was Evelyn, trust me if you knew my granddaughter Evelyn had her hands full. as my granddaughter knows what she wants and really put her thru a drill, but this lady was so professional and handle the sales very well. after I heard my granddaughter went to your store, I got in my car and headed up there, when I found them in the store, there was my granddaughter and my daughter looking around, well next thing I saw she was laying on different sofas to make sure they were long enough for her tall husband. it was a sight to see and Evelyn was just wonderful with her. so as I knew it to be true to my word, my Granddaughter bought her first living room set, plus a small chair for her new home.....oh wait the story doesn't end there. I was looking for a lift chair and spotted them, I picked out one I liked and yes I am a proud owner of my first power lift chair in the price range I could afford. so to make this long story shorter... Avoid Ashley HomeStore Like the Plague! If I could give Ashley HomeStore negative stars, I would. Our purchase of an outdoor patio set and fire pit has been a complete disaster. The fire pit is defective and doesn't work at all. You'd think a reputable company would offer a quick replacement or refund, but no. Instead, they've made my wife jump through endless hoops to get what we rightfully deserve. Before buying, we asked numerous questions about the refund policy, especially if something didn't fit our deck. The store Manager, Derek, assured us we could return anything we weren't satisfied with--an outright lie. For three agonizing weeks, we've been in a maddening back-and-forth with several Ashley reps and are nowhere near getting the promised refund. Their customer service is beyond abysmal--it's a disgrace. Representatives give conflicting information and show zero initiative or responsibility. To make matters worse, Derek refused to provide his supervisor's contact info, showing a complete lack of accountability. Given this appalling treatment, I am seriously considering seeking legal representation. I hope the district manager or owner sees this review because I will continue to write about this until this matter is resolved. This horrendous experience has left us deeply regretting ever setting foot in Ashley HomeStore. Save yourself the frustration and take your business elsewhere. The other Day I stopped into the Ashley Furniture store in Wind Gap, PA to look for a couch and loveseat. Usually when I go into a furniture store I see the sales staff walking around the showroom like zombies from The Walking Dead. This was not the case with my salesperson, Brianna R. I was greeted with a smile and a "how may I help you". I assumed she was smiling because she was wearing a mask as well as all of the other employees. I explained my difficult situation that I have a narrow basement door opening and then immediately a staircase that the couch and loveseat need to fit through and then go down. That's when Brianna went to work. I was impressed that she knew the showroom inventory thoroughly and she immediately started showing me couches that would fit my needs. Additionally, after listening to further room restrictions such as fireplace stand off distances, Brianna R. suggested an option that I never thought of. Based on her recommendation, I settled on a couch and 2 reclining chairs rather than a couch and a loveseat. The paperwork process also went smoothly and she explained all aspects of the delivery process. I highly recommend this Ashley Furniture store in Wind Gap, PA based on Brianna R. and the other employees. As far as the other salespeople at other furniture store chains, they should run, not walk, to the next casting call for The Walking Dead. read more

I wanted to just say that my sister Tiffany Tapler and mother Suzanne tapler and I visited the location in wind gap because we had a horrendous experience in Whitehall with the store manager Greg I believe his name is. My sister buys a lot of stuff through you and we took the time to go to this location and immediately was greeted by Brandon and he was not pushy at all. You can tell he enjoyed his job and was very kind. We eventually purchased a lot from you all. We were then greeted by the entire front desk at the front and they were so kind and professional too. They definitely deserve recognition, and we will never return to the Whitehall store because that management truly needs some help with how unprofessional the manager was there and team so please make sure this gets to the correct people because they deserve recognition at the wind gap location and once again Brandon helped us through the whole process and was honest and professional from the get go who especially deserves the recognition. It was wonderful along with Adare, George, tori, Logan, nix, and Scott. Their teamwork was impeccable and had such positive energy. It didn't feel like a sale and will definitely return! I was going to an appointment next door when I noticed the Ashley Furniture store. I had a few minutes to spare and decided to go in and browse around. I was immediately greeted with a warm welcome and was asked if i needed help. I stated that I was only browsing and the woman said if i had any questions or needed any help to feel free to ask whether or not i was purchasing now or enquiring for a later time. I fell in love with a sofa that was just a few feet away from the customer service area. Of course I had a few questions pertaining to stock availability, cost as well as financing. Linda answered all my questions with great patience and a smile. She asked if I was interested in a more detailed finance option explanation and I said no but I would love to return. She handed me a card with her name and number and said I can call her anytime if I ever needed any further help. I must have told 7 people about that store and gave them her name. Her kind attentiveness made me look forward to returning back to that store. I've always loved the quality of Ashley furniture and the diverse finishes and styles they have. It's nice to see that their quality of service is just as high standing as their products. read more

Starting your life over isn't easy to do especially in your 60's but honestly if it weren't for Ashley Furniture and Linda Torres-Donker, it would have been a nightmare. I cannot express my sincere gratitude to this woman. I would consider her a pillar to this company. Her caring way, and no pressure made me come back, (I didn't have measurements as I had not closed on my home) but only on the day she was working. I came back and ordered two rooms of furniture and two lamps. I cannot wait until they arrive. Selection was amazing and all staff were exceptional! Ashley Furniture in Wind Gap has been amazing while searching for a new couch. I can't say enough good things about this place. When we arrived the sales team was busy, and instead of making us wait, Patti (the manager) took time out of her work to find the couch that we were interested in. We decided to come back to purchase the couch on another day, but Hope helped us complete all of the paperwork early so we wouldn't have a long wait the next day. When we came in to make our purchase, Sarita completed our order promptly, and we were on our way! We were looking for our new living room furniture for a while and happened to find it here at Ashley. The quality of the furniture was exquisite and there was SO much to choose from! George was friendly and very helpful as our Salesman. We placed our order on Saturday 6/27 and was able to catch the weekend deal which made it even more that desirable. I can't wait until our new couch and love seat arrives, and am counting down the days! I'll remember Ashley every time I sit and fall asleep in those comfy recliners. I am the envy of my family. We have been looking at several furniture stores to furnish our new home. Ashley had so much more to look at then the others we went to. We were greeted by George who respected our desire to browse but checked in occasionally to see if we had questions. It was a nice balance from being smothered by sales reps at other stores or completely ignored. He answered our questions when we had them, explained how to properly measure for the furniture, and provided us print outs to take with us on the ones we liked. Scott and Jackie were absolutely incredible. My first couch was a no fit through my very narrow front door... coming back for a re-select I was dreading the process, but they were beyond helpful. We took apart every piece to make sure it would fit, they continued to honor my price range and original deals, and weren't at all bothered by the 5 trips to and from the store! I cannot recommend these two enough. Always returned my calls, have constant updates, and very kind! We went to Ashley just to walk around and check out the couches. What a great selection. We didn't intend to buy anything and Liberty gave us our time to walk around, which was very much appreciated. Although it took us almost 2 hours to make a decision, the manager was soooo patient with us. We changed our minds so often on what we wanted. We were ready to go home and sleep on the decision and on our way out found a nice piece that we both agreed on and met our needs. Again, so appreciative of the time the manager gave us!
