We are waiting for furniture ordered On 2/2/2022. We were guaranteed in 16 weeks, however they told us it probably will be sooner. We are now given a June 19 date over 20 weeks waiting. The young women was not concerned at all - she just kept saying you can cancel and get a store credit. They broke the guarantee! 6 weeks ago I bought a kitchen set. We picked this up at the warehouse l, put it together and 2 days later a stool split in half. I went to the store and the manager told me I needed to deal with the warehouse. The store refused to help me or offer any kind of customer service to me. The regional manager was supposed to call me.. 6 weeks later I am still waiting for that call. I even sent an email to the woman who was the manager at the store and no response. Doug said we will have to pay extra for delivery if we order from their online site instead of him directly (online delivery is free). - Lie #1 Site charges "$150" for assembly, Doug quoted us the "Cheaper" price of "$250". - Lie #2 After catching Doug in multiple lies, I asked him "What's our incentive of buying from you, instead of the online Ashley HomeStore?" I purchased tables, coffee table and two end tables last Sunday. The salesman explained if I could get there by 4 PM I could pick them up. I drove one hour round-trip only to find that they were closed . I called management to see if there was anything they could do to compensate me for my time wasted ( management didn't speak to me), the best they could do is have it shipped to their store which would take weeks .Today I went down for the second time knowing that they were open which cost me another hour of my time. Today, I thought maybe these tables were available online, they were, $169.99 delivered from big lots free!. I checked Ashley home stores pricing online, $239.99 ...I paid $369.99 at Ashley furniture/Regency. Yes that's a $200 savings if I would've ordered them online. I understand brick and mortar stores are higher but $200?????? I called the store and they eagerly gave me a $60 refund. The two times I called with concerns, no one from management got on the phone instead they hide behind their employees. All of this happened purchasing tables, imagine what you will face spending thousands on furniture from these scumbags. And all that made in the USA jargon, my tables were made in Taiwan. Read the fine print once you purchase from them, there are no refunds only store credits. The reason why is because they know they can't deliver and they're ripping you off. Like the old adage goes fool me once shame on you fool me twice shame on me. Inflation coupled by item availability and poor service will eventually be your downfall! Would not recommend to anyone and will not be returning for any furniture. Horrible customer service, had to call several times over the course of months to get a hold of a manager who was not able to help me anyway. When I initially put my order in I was given an estimated delivery date of 2 weeks. A few weeks later I went to get an update after not receiving my furniture and they told me it would be another few weeks. I tried canceling my order to go somewhere else where it was in stock and could be delivered sooner because I really needed the furniture however the manager made false promises in order to keep my business. After receiving my furniture over 2 months later I did not receive the additional piece that I was promised by the manager. When I contacted the store the advised that this manager is no longer working with them and he never put in anything for that additional piece he promised. Nonetheless the new manager said he would honor this request and put the order in. After a few weeks of waiting I follow up and he said he has to check with the warehouse. Another few weeks of waiting I call back and he says his management denied it. Purchased a bedroom set with additional pieces in August of 2020 and was told 6 to 8 weeks for delivery. Had to call multiple times to follow up on status after the first 8 weeks because Ashley was not proactive in providing me updates. -Partial first delivery in February (4 months later than original lead time)- 2 pieces damaged -Second delivery in April TOTAL DISASTER - 1 piece damaged, also the delivery team didn't even attempt to knock just tried to open the door on their own. best of all this time the delivery came with property damage. Tried to get the Property damage resolved with Ashley/Regency ATLEAST ten times. Has been a month and they (Ashley/Regency) says they are not responsible, the delivery company is, only problem is They refuse to tell us who the delivery company is. No bill of lading was supplied from the delivery company. No one has reached out to make this right or once apologized for all the inconvenience or lost time we have spent on this, ie being on hold for hours and hours on the phone just to get no where. We are currently shopping to purchase furniture for are our living room and family room, a shame because Ashley has the set we want but will have to look elsewhere after this experience. read more

I was told I would be called the day before for delivery. Instead I got a text giving me a 4 hour window. I called and told them the window was fine except between 11am and 11;30. I am an attorney who works remotely. I had a hearing at that time. I was told that I was number 2 on the list and they could not guaranty that it would happen at 11. If I wanted to change I was told I had to pay a re-delivery. I called the store that is separate from the delivery people. I was not helped with the simple issue. When I discussed cancelling I was told I would have to pay 30 percent to cancel. Customer service is non-existent. Go to a good store Stay away. read more

PSA: DO NOT BUY FROM ASHLEY'S HOMESTORE FURNITURE My fiancé and I bought a total of three items from Ashley's when we bought our first house, a sectional for our living room, a sectional for our basement with recliners, and an entire bedroom set. At the time of purchase, we were told it would take 3-4 months for our pieces to be delivered. Fine, we were patient. Our basement furniture was delivered with a broken recliner that the delivery men were not going to tell me about, I just happened to test it before they literally ran out the door. We had a "furniture doctor" come fix our brand new recliner. Whatever, we understand things happen. After four months of waiting, our bedroom set arrives. The headboard had a huge, unrepairable crack, in addition to, multiple scratches. We were presented with the following options: A) keep the bed set and it will be exchanged B)do not accept the bed set. We decided to do the exchange because we were already sleeping on a mattress on the floor for months. Our exchange arrives weeks later, the delivery men set it up. I go to inspect it before they leave and what do you know...... MORE damage than the first headboard A few more weeks go by, our second exchange arrives. I look at it before it's set up and send it right back to the truck. A THIRD EXCHANGE is set up between 9am-1pm. Neither my fiancé or I could be home for this four hour window AGAIN, so we arrange for our family members to be there. I get a text at 7am saying they will be there in 15minutes, uhhhhh NO ONE'S HOME. I call guest services, they don't open until 10am HA HA HA. Fortunately, I was able to wake up my brother-in-law who lives on my street. He's at my house at 7am on Saturday waiting ..... they don't show up until 8:45am..... they show up with only 2 of 3 pieces.... I ask for a manager to call me. I am unable to answer the phone because I am working. They leave a message. I call back. "this number is not in use" BRING OUT ASHTON KUTCHER??? the call back number for the manger is not in use??? I call the store I ordered from and left my number for a manger to call me back. NO CALL BACK. I go to the store in person. A FOURTH EXCHANGE IS SET UP, it arrives. This time it doesn't make it off the truck. I go back to the store and basically say come take your entire bed set and give me a refund. The best they can do is offer me $300 back and send a craftsman out to repair. $300 does not even cover the cost of the 3 pieces of my headboard ($475). They pulled this number out of their asses and could not justify it. When I asked to speak with a supervisor the manager said he is the end of the line and there is no one I can talk to. He would not share the CEOs email either. So after hours of waiting in 4 hour blocks, hours of phone calls (THAT GOT NO WHERE), hours of trips to the store, my fiancé and I are stuck with SHIT furniture. read more

I needed parts for a bedroom set we bought from Ashley Furniture. For 6 months I called every month to get the parts. Each month they said they would be in next month and they would call me. They never called and the parts never came. Finally I was told the parts were discontinued in December of last year. No replacement or solution was offered. No apology for the lies over 6 months. I ordered a headboard and it took 4 months to arrive. There was no notice when it was coming. When it arrived it has a light strip on it with no switch or remote to turn it on. Customer service is horrible to deal with. They literally don't care and when I called to ask about it they just transfer you, keep you on hold and transfer you again. When I hit the outlet area, I had a question so asked the gentleman walking through. He had to get someone else. That guy could get me a price. Had to speak with GM. I gave him until I walked out. As I walked out I watched two guys just sitting there on their cell phones. Sales! It's all about the customer. So i called back. Got some woman who wouldn't let me speak to the GM. So I hung up. They had the audacity to call me back! Still not the GM. It would be 16 weeks for the coffee table that is in the outlet store. Huh? Way overpriced!! I ordered a couch on Labor Day 2020. The deal was fantastic and the couch was exactly what I wanted. I was so excited about this purchase. We paid with credit card which was immediately charged even though we were told delivery would be between 6-8 weeks because of COVID backlogs. I understood this and wasn't upset at the expected delivery timeframe. In October I called to get an update on the delivery date. At first no one answered my call and there was no option for a message, so it just rang for 20 minutes. I tried multiple times that day to get through to someone. Eventually I had to drive 55 minutes to the store to actually speak with someone. I was told they needed to email buying department to get the update, and they would call me later. I drove 55 minutes for them to send an email. I was frustrated. Finally I received a call that my delivery was pushed to the middle of December. This was tolerable for me but annoying that I had to seek out this update. It would have been nice to have them reach out with this pushback. In the middle of December I hadn't heard anything so I called again. They emailed buying and called me back to let me know it now won't be delivered until the end of February or beginning of March. 6 months was too long for me to wait for this couch so I cancelled the order. They refunded the entire order. Very disappointed with this process. They had our money from day 1 and it felt like I was being misled. Understanding that COVID created issues, but I feel like it would have been courteous to reach out to inform me of all of these changes; especially because a 6-8 week order turned into over 20 weeks. Went looking for items for my grandmother, started online then headed into the store. All the sales people were lovely, but the online ads seems better, free this/that ... No one was pushy, but the GM was called over, Doug, well all I can was is what a trip! He was personable, knowledgeable, and very transparent with regards to what his store could offer vs online. At the end of the day, it was an easy choice. We saw what the store had to offer and we will be picking what we want online, but we will purchase at the store with the sales rep because of Doug. It took 35 minutes to buy an $11 picture and while I said to my son that we were not coming back on Sunday the manager proceeded to interject himself into our conversation. He slammed his hand down on the counter and asked if was because it was so slow and then stated next time it would be even longer. A store manager who tries to intimidate women and then says it will take even longer next time.....way to go. However, I called the store over 6 times asking for updates on the delivery and was told different estimated dates everytime. However, we went into the store last weekend (10/4/2020) and were told that the couch delivery date was back on track and to expect to hear from them to set up delivery by 10/16/2020. Well of course we heard nothing and went back unto the store and were told that now the estimated delivery is sometime at the end of DECEMBER! Which is beyond frustrating as they have had our thousand dollars for over 2 months now and haven't called us a single time with any updates... and we are told different stories everytime WE call. Well today on 10/10/2020 we had the most AWFUL and traumatizing experience in store with the manager (i believe his name is doug) . We came in to see what our options are and coke to find out THEY ordered the wrong couch for us!! We have been waiting 8 weeks now, for the wrong couch! A mistake that qas made entirely by them!!! We weren't even aware of the color option that they went ahead and ordered for us. And the manager told us that because they placed an order for the wrong couch, we would have to start completely over with a new order... after waiting over 2 months!!!!!! And they said the wait could be up to 4 months for the correct couch to come because our order would start from scratch. The reallt traumatizing part of our experience qas when the manager (doug) refused to talk to my husband and walked away from him in the middle of the store and never sent another employee to help him. He walked away and said he didn't feel comfortable serving him. Yet, I walked into the store 10 mims later and led the conversation and doug was willing to speak to me (although he offered no resolution to the issue). He didn't feel comfortable serving my husband because he is African American, and felt comfortable serving me because I am white!!! This is blatant racism!!!!! We left the store crying and so upset for how we were treated and discriminated against. The worst part is that we received no apology for the HUGE mistake they made, and we can to no resolution. They told me it'd be 2-4 weeks to get a refund (which is absurd!!!) And this doesn't benefit me because I will not be able to purchase a new couch without a refund... when I paid in cash over TWO months ago, I should be able to get my cash back. In conclusion, I feel as though ashleys STOLE from us. Never ever ever again will I purchase from this company. I placed an order IN JULY where I paid IN-FULL a $10000 balance and financed $3000. 4-6 weeks I was told. I received part of the order at the end of August, the second part of the order in October, and haven't received the remainder of the order. My marble table has already broke (thank God I have a protection plan) and the protection plan paid for it but now the table will not be in until February. The furniture has a tear. I went to the store to see what couch was in stock last weekend so I could at least have something to sit on to accommodate my guests before Christmas. Just got the call... "You're couch is in, but we can only deliver Christmas Eve." When did a customer not become a priority? I paid $13000 and have been waiting since July. 5 months to get furniture. I get it... COVID... but come on, be honest about what you can or cannot do. Tell the truth... don't tell me 4-6 weeks and it takes 5 months. Never again. And, I went during the 4th of July sale where everything was "60%" off. Really? That couch really costs $3500? Like, I know you got over on me, but at least accommodate me now.
