Phoenix Symphony/Classical Mystery Tour…read more This is Beatle music with Beatle impressionists, in collaboration with the Phoenix Symphony(PS). The forefront of the stage is set with the rock and roll groups instruments and setup. Behind them is the PS. Prior to the band playing, the PS begins with a few Beatle songs, then they are joined by the band which plays a number of Beatle songs in conjunction with the PS. I say in conjunction with, because the PS is not backing up the band, but playing along with, and most of the time, playing over the vocals and music of the band. Oh dear, if you are a Beatle maniac I am not sure you will appreciate this. Early on in the performance it was difficult for me to judge how talented the band was because they were so overpowered by the PS. My initial impression was the band's volume was way to low, barely making it to row 32 where we were seated, on the first floor, farthest row to the rear. I kept hoping someone who handles the technical aspects of this kind of problem would figure it out, but this never occurred. Secondly, the manner is which the stage was illuminated, caused the band and their equipment to meld into all of the PS. It would have seemed to me, the proper thing to do would have been to provide more light to the band and less to the PS to provide some separation of the two. However, my feeling was, separation of the two was not to be the plan for this particular evening. There was an occasional spot light on a member of the band who's actions were significant during the playing of a particular song. When there was more than one band member singing together, the light was gone. The spot light jumped around from member to member in an disjointed type manner, leaving the remaining parts of the group in a dim area of the stage, including the PS. If you stayed to nearly the end, this is where the show came to life. About the time the band played a melody and number of songs afterward, the PS quieted down and the real talents of the group shined through the still dark stage. Their vocals were extraordinary and finally you could clearly hear what has made them so famous. It was at this time the crowd came to life and toe tapping graduated to standup arm waving and crowd singing. I am a strong supporter of the PS, love them. However, in this capacity I was clearly disappointed and feel the production of this show needs some tweaking.

I decorated an office and basically everything came from Real Deals! You really do get a deal, as their prices are very good for the quality of the items. I'm becoming increasingly frustrated with this store. It started out ok and has gotten…read moreprogressively worse in the past three weeks. Repeatedly we have tried to get them to measure out kitchen for counters and cabinets. They have been wasting a lot of time. Apparently no one knows what's going on there either. We made an appointment to meet with the designer for new counters and cabinets. They tried to discourage us from waiting. We finally talked to the designer and they took our choices down told us they would schedule us for a measure. It never happened then three weeks later tried to refund the charge. I told them to talk to my mother , who has the keys to measure they said theyd call and they never did. So now I have to chase them.down again . So far they have wasted 3 weeks! This same home depot told me my doors would be in in two weeks and they wont be in for 4 weeks and delayed the tile by a week. But by far the cabinets are the most infuriating part of this saga. I was told that everything was cut and dry. The kitchen would be measured quickly and they would be ordered and placed asap. Why was it important for me to give you a deadline on when I wanted this done if it was going to be slow rolled ?
