This has been the worst furniture buying experience. Every time I call, I am given different dates of when my items will be available. I was set up for delivery and advised that someone would call me the day before to confirm which never happened so I called up there to get information on what time they were coming, only to find out the items hadn't even arrived to the local warehouse and in fact were not scheduled for delivery. The local store and call center both give different answers and are completely unreliable for any details. If I was able to find a similar product somewhere else, I would definitely be cancelling my order. I have also asked for a member of management to call me so I could hopefully get some definitive answers, no one called. read more

The next week I see the same mattress (same model #) and (Ashley is the seller) for 1/2 price. I call the store to cancel and have yet to receive a credit back in my card. Almost a month now and cannot get resolution. I call multiple times each week and get a new story why this hasn't been processed. It's absolutely ridiculous that you can cancel an order and not get a refund. Do not shop here. Delivery date kept being pushed further and no notification from Ashley's whatsoever. Calling this place is horrible, have to be on hold for over an our listening to the staticky recording only to be told the delivery date has changed. Couple of weeks after the coffee table was delivered noticed a defect on it. But decided to just stick with it rather than having to go through the hassle of dealing with Ashley's. Went here to find an inexpensive couch as a college student and Mike helped me out. He made it such an easy experience and I found the perfect couch and table. Wish zero stars was an option. Whatever they tell you for delivery, triple it. First order showed up with half the purchase order. One of the three peices that showed up was damaged and they left a large box in my front yard as well. We are now in a 1 month waiting period for the next delivery, and should get a third delivery 2 weeks after that. They claim they will refund HALF of the delivery fee. HALF! This is a garbage outlet of a garbage business being led by a garbage manager. I hope they go out of business so an organization worth a single percent of their weight in salt could replace this terrible outlet. Pros: our salesperson was delightful and the delivery workers were courteous and polite. Edit: (9/24/18) now Ashley Furniture Homestore has decided to increase the warranty price on our order AFTER WE SIGNED THE CONTRACT. The customer service manager claims that she can't see the charges on our account and disregards the receipt (my wife signed) as not being a formal or binding document. Seven phone calls and two days later, I finally found someone that was able to order the part. No one knows how to do anything. STOLE MY MONEY...Do NOT shop here!! I spent thousands of dollars getting living room and bedroom furniture and waited weeks for it to be delivered. When it arrived, they brought the wrong bedroom furniture. The delivery team "made a note" that it was the wrong furniture and took it with them. I went to the store that same day asking for a refund since I didn't get the bedroom furniture. The store manager, Greg Lee, apologized profusely and gave me his business card with his cell phone number. This was a Saturday and he told me to contact him on Tuesday so the inventory had time to reflect that I didn't receive that furniture. Apparently, the original salesperson submitted the wrong bedroom furniture. At that point, I just wanted my money back. I called Greg and left a voicemail. I never heard back. I waited a few days and sent him an email. I never heard back. I emailed him a second time but don't expect to hear back. I have yet to receive my refund for the furniture I DO NOT HAVE. This is stealing by the company and I will never again shop with them and I've told everyone to avoid them. Every single time I've tried calling the store I get no answer OR I get told I need to speak to the manager. I'm about to file a claim at this point. Just give me my money back!! P.S. Just moved to the area and we needed a few things for our home. Went to Ashley home furniture store to look for a lamp for our sectional. We wanted one that fit behind it so it was a bigger purchase. The store it's self is lovely but once we found and ordered our lamp the stores appeal went away fast. Ordered and was told it would be around 7 days. Okay no lamp no tracking available to customers so you have to keep calling the store. Well three times we were told some story that it would be another week no explanation. So wait another week no lamp we did that three times. Finally went in and kinda got the run around but we thought we had it fixed. Actually wanted our money but they said no. So we waited another 4 days and low and behold my excitement was back the day my husband said the lamp was finally delivered. Yay!!! Yeah no the wrong lamp was delivered so I immediately call and talk to the store manager at 5:30 pm only to be told oh I don't know how that could happen. Let me do some checking to see if I can figure this out. Not a word that night or the next day until we called the store at 1:30 only to be told said manager was away and that maybe he could call us Monday with some information. Wait wait wait. My husband and I bought several pieces of furniture from this store to redecorate our newly remodeled home. We were pleased with the delivery and the initial appearance of our furniture. However, noticed that the cushioning on the two very expensive power reclining sofas was not near the comfort level that we had experienced in the showroom. Two weeks into slightly using the power-recline on the sofa, there are some structural issues going on with the sofa. We talked with their very rude customer service associates who said our only choice was to have someone come to our home and service (do some repair) on the sofas. We paid good money for furniture expecting that we were getting quality that would last us for years and I'm already having to have it repaired. Very disappointed at this point. They also told us that the furniture in the showroom is so comfortable because so many people sit in them and that ours will have to be "broke in". Doesn't make any sense. So, I bought $3000 worth of furniture and I have to break it in before it will be comfortable for me to sit in???? I have resorted to using my old recliner. They sent some parts to our house and we were supposed to have someone contact us two weeks ago to come take a look at the furniture. I had a wonderful experience with Ashley Home Store! I needed a nice couch and really had no experience with putting anything on credit as I had just graduated college without ever even applying for a credit card. I was very intimidated by the idea of putting something on credit, but Dave helped me choose which Memorial Day deal best fit my situation and was super available to answer any questions that I had. Besides all of that, I had a particular style of couch in mind and Ashley had many to choose from, providing exactly what I was after. Pickup from the warehouse was easy and they offered very flexible times. I now have my couch and it's wonderful! Seems to be very good quality, is comfortable, and is exactly what I was expecting to receive from Ashley. I ordered a sofa a month ago, with my original delivery date being July 8th. I have had 3 rescheduled delivery times with only a single hour notice before my time slot and once, no notice at all. I finally rented a truck and drove to the warehouse, 2+ hours from my house to find out that it was not there, even though I had confirmed with my local manager (Greg Lee Rodgers AR) in person, and on the phone with customer service. When I spoke with Greg the day before I drove to the warehouse, he told me that he would call me that night to see if my delivery could possibly come sooner, he failed to follow up at all. Today I went to the store for a refund and Greg then proceeded to tell me that I was a liar and started to yell at me (a young girl and student) in front of other customers. According to a salesman at another local furniture store, he has a reputation of vocally assaulting customers. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I have purchased many pieces from Ashley Furniture over the years and have always been pleased. That is NOT the case with this purchase. My husband and I purchased a sectional couch on 10/13/2018. Only part of the couch was delivered in November 2018 a month later. The remainder of the couch was delivered another month later in December 2018. In February we began noticing that the cushions were wearing horribly and the seat cushions were becoming lumpy. It looked like we had owned this couch for 10years and it had seen better days. I was frustrated with the way the couch was wearing and called Customer Service on March 8, 2019 to talk to them about it. They asked that I send them pictures of the issue which I did. You can clearly see from the pictures that the entire couch was wearing poorly. Erica in Customer Service asked me for the cushion count so that they could send us replacements. I provided those on 3/11/2019. A week later we received 2 seat cushions and a box of stuffing for me to STUFF MY COUCH CUSHIONS WITH. At this point, I called back again and sent pictures AGAIN on 4/1/2019. Ashley did replace the love set portion of the sectional which I am still confused as to why they selected that piece to replace when I had clearly instructed them that the entire couch is poor quality. The final straw came when I contacted Customer Service again about the chaise lounge cushions. The seam was rolling on the cushion. They said they would send a replacement. A week later I got the COVER for the cushion. Yes, I had to remove the old and replace the cover on the cushion of the couch. So far with this company they have asked me to stuff my own cushions and replace covers on a couch that has been in my home for 5-6 months now. They claim that they have a 1 year limited warranty on their furniture but that has NOT been my experience. When talking with Customer Service I informed them that I am NOT happy with this furniture and I needed to talk to someone about returning it and getting something different. After all I didn't spend $3,200.00 on a couch that isn't of good quality. They informed me that it wasn't an option and that I couldn't return it. Every time I call to talk to someone about this I get the same customer service group that could care less how I feel about this couch and just want to get me off the phone. She will tell you that you will get your furniture in 6-8 weeks, and even laugh when you tell her that you hope it will not be 15-20 weeks. She will not answer your calls or texts, and when she does, it will be a generic answer and assuring that everything will be on time just like she told you. Excellent selection of furniture and very nice showroom. Excellent selections of no interest finance choices. We purchased an approximate $12K worth of furniture. David was our sales rep. He was very helpful and answers all our questions. Things went south on delivery issues. Some how our delivery date got changed in their system and we had to wait additional week. I called the manager (Craig or Greg) for assistance. When he answered the call he just grumbled and said he "couldn't make any promises" but would see what he could do. Definitely not reassuring. We never heard back from him. No call back, no apology and no interest in assisting us at all. We received our furniture at a later date and very satisfied with the items. We still haven't received the rug we ordered. We were just recently told it was on 6 week backward and David did apologize for the inconvenience. It's been 4 weeks and we're still waiting for the rug. My suggestion would be to remind Ashley's management that customer service doesn't end once they've got there money. I walked in and got great assistance from my salesman (I will leave his name out for now) picked out $8,000 worth of furniture (all 25% off), a free 5 year damage warranty was included and 6 years interest free! NOT the case at all! I went back last weekend without my receipt to make sure I got the right table and to get a copy of my receipt to be sure that my 25% was applied... Just felt weird... Well they printed out my order, not the sales receipt, so that my salesman and I could make sure I got the right items delivered (only got 1/2 of my order after three weeks and now waiting a month for the rest). We finished that and I asked the salesman, the last thing I want to check is to make sure I got all of the 25% off that I should have gotten because I glanced at the receipt the night I placed my order and it did not look right. He said that he has worked there for many years and he is sure it was acccurate. So I said okay and proceeded to look for my receipt since they really did not want me to have a copy. FOUND IT! I didn't get 25% off of anything!!! I will be back at the store this weekend, with a manager and hopefully they will make this right so I can take down this review. I feel like such a sucker... In early November, I visit the Ashley Furniture Store in Rogers AR. I was planning to browse what was available and only make a purchase for a dining tale and chairs if the delivery was going to arrive in time for Thanksgiving. Once I found the table I liked, DJ Jowers (Assistant Manager) assisted me in placing my order. He confirmed the timeline and promised that the order should be delivered to my home by Thanksgiving, knowing that would be a deal breaker for me. He gave me his personal cell phone number, so I reached out to get an update right before thanksgiving because I had not begetting any sort of updates from anyone. His communication was brief and vague and he could not provide solid information as to when the delivery was going to take place. This has continued to be the case when getting correspondence, it has always been me reaching out to retrieve information.. Anyway, I did receive notification that delivery of the table only was going to take place on 11.25.2020. I was given a window of time that I was needing to be at home in order to get the shipment. After waiting & waiting, the delivery never came. Finally in December, I receive only the table. It is currently 4.22.2021 and I have-not received any sort of update from Ashley Furniture or DJ Jowers in regards to where the chairs are to my order... I continue to reach out, however I am still met with brief vague information with no sympathy for how this situation has been handled. I understand delays with COVID, manufacturing, etc. What I do not understand is deceitfulness in efforts to make a sale go through and inconsistent communication (NO communication if I hadn't been the one initiating it). I have expressed this to DJ and his response was, "Well I can cancel it if you would like", as if that would solve the problem at hand. I have a table, I would love to have matching chairs. To be VERY clear as to WHAT I am complaining about, it would be the subpar customer services and incredibly poor communication. I expected more from such a large company, perhaps an automated service that lets the customer know where their items are, a phone call, SOMETHING is better than dead silence. I will also add... Its never a good idea to give your personal number to customers if you dont plan to have decent communication and talk about their order. I have been incredibly patient and understanding with delays, it happens. The lack of care after the point of sale is where the problem lies. This is the reason why sales people get a bad rep! I would rather order something online and will certainly do so next time. I will never make a purchase with Ashley Furniture again and I have have closed my credit account with them. If I could give them a NO Stars!!!!!They Rude/Obnoxious/they have attitudes and they lie to you at the store level. . All I am trying to do is get status on some couch pillows that were suppose to have been shipped directly to my house. I ordered at the end of May. I called their main customer service and they had no clue where the order was and just told me something just to get me off the phone. I have called the store several times and left messages for someone to call me and no one calls you back. We went into the store and asked for status in beginning of July on a Saturday and they just realize that it was keyed incorrectly. They were trying to deliver a bogus item via a truck delivery. It was fixed and was told I would get a call on Monday. Well they did not call I left messages that were never answered and now we have to wait til Monday because no one knows how to call a phone number and check on the status except for the one out on vacation!!!! Wish I would have read reviews prior to ordering. My furniture was supposed to be delivered sat 5/25, after not getting a call about the delivery I called them and was told they couldn't deliver because two items couldn't fit on the truck coming from Springfield due to a memorial sale. Numerous calls later agreed to deliver today 5/29. I received a notice of delivery but for only two of the items(the items that were supposedly the hold up before). I've called the distribution center (rude and act like they don't care) and the only thing they show are the two items. Not my couches or bed! Called the store they don't know whats going on either. Main issues seem to be with the distribution center. Don't know what has happened to this store chain. I bought stuff from them in 2015 and several years before that, and had no issues. Corporate obviously needs to get their organization lined out. It will be a matter of time before enough people experience same bad service and the chain will go belly up. read more

We went there on their grand opening days to look for a new set of sofa & loveseat and the saleman told us their bonded leather set is more reliable than real leather blah blah, we just smiled and got out of their stores within 10 minutes. Honestly, we could not find anything we liked because they looked cheap. Yesterday, we drove by the Ashley store and they had 25% off one day sale. I was hesitated to come in since I do not have any good impression with their furnitures or customer services. However, my wife insisted they might change after couple years later. We went in and looked around, their furnitures are kinda better but they are not near Hanks or Basset quality. Some of the bed frames look so filmsy and cheap. We were greeted by a nice young girl and she was friendly. We finally found a king bed frame that we like but the store manager would not negotitate on the deal of $100 off. He told me ashley furnitures are high quality blah blah and I tried to hold my laugh. I just thanked him and walked out. I ordered a bed, mattress and foundation -paid in full. They told me the delivery date, about 5 weeks out. On the day of the delivery I got rid of the old bed to free up the space. When they came out they only had the bed, no mattress and no foundation. I got a big runaround with customer service pointing to the store, and the store to the warehouse. No one is willing to step up and resolve. Still no foundation or mattress. They have made no effort to contact me back to resolve. Tried to reach store manager - was told he needs to get some time off so he won't be available. Unbelievable. I think the store person is trying to cover her tracks. They don't have a good system for tracking their orders and its up to you to figure out what happened, versus them trying to figure out THEIR mistake and contacting you back. We picked up a Lacotter Recliner and our sales person gave us enough information and great customer service. She wasn't pushy and gave us plenty of time to make our decision. So, shopping experience, sales people and selection are awesome. HOWEVER, we ordered four rooms of furniture and They keep pushing back dates that we are going to receive our furniture. Now finishing the third month since we ordered AND PAID FOR our furniture. The only thing we have received is a countertop table and chairs. BEWARE: they don't tell you when partial orders come on. I would still be waiting until mid January (the new date for one of my rooms of furniture) unless I had called. We are beginning to think they are selling our furniture to people who are paying higher. (We purchased on sale) We were told several weeks ago that our bedside tables were in but not the headboard and footboard. They called to make an appointment for Thursday, November 19. Then they called Wednesday to say it would be Saturday. Then they called Friday night and said NOTHING was in and it would be Black Friday before we get our bedroom set (which we need for company tomorrow). I asked what happened to bedside tables as we were told twice they were in. They don't know. As the times and stories keep changing, I can only doubt their honesty in dealing with us. I bought a couch and a lamp my first experience. The couch took 6 weeks; we didn't want to pay for delivery so we picked it up at warehouse. (Don't think they had a clue what they were doing. Took forever to find it!) Couch was fine. Lamp took much longer! NO ONE EVER called me! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!! I had to call to find out if my items were in every time! They said they'd call when it came in. They DID NOT! (If I spend over a $1000 I would expect good customer service, but once you pay here, they are done with you!!) It took FOREVER for our refund to come in. 2nd experience, bought a chair on clearance. Couldn't fit it in my car, so we came back same day around 6pm with my husband's truck. Front desk clerk told us we couldn't take it because their loading guy was gone for the day! WHAT? said it was a liability if we got hurt, OK. But turns out the loading guy was still there! Selection is great! Service at the store is great! After that, service falls short of anything but ridiculous!! It took four weeks for them to call with a delivery date. I was expecting that - no biggie. They called a couple of days ahead to set the "3-hour window" for delivery. I made sure to take time off work to be here during my window just to find that they were here early. They called the house (of course I wasn't here) and gave up on me before my window was even supposed to have been open!! I called and was told that there was one more delivery in my town and they'd be back after that. NOW I'm told that they have two more deliveries 2 towns away and will be here AFTER my window!! I have to take the rest of the day off work because of their lack of communication and lack of promptness. I was told that my window was really 15 minutes earlier than what I was told 2 days ago. I was also told that there was a cancellation which moved everyone up but nobody bothered to call me!! WOW!! REALLY!! Two excuses for their screwup!?!!? All I got when I called was "I'm sorry, there's nothing we can do"!!!!! UNACCEPTABLE!!! At least give a discount for future purchase or not charge for the poor delivery! Offer SOMETHING!!! A free cup of coffee... anything!?!?!? I'M SORRY, THERE'S NOTHING WE CAN DO. I'm not happy that my time is less important than their money!! Extremely disappointed with the fake leather recliners we were led to believe were leather. They started peeling only after 4yrs of use. Know your salesperson is only there to make a living, so school yourself on the different fabrics and leathers before going furniture shopping and forking out thousands of dollars on fake look-alike junk. read more

I bought a couch from them yesterday. There are three different advertised prices for this same couch by the same company. There was one on a pedestal next to the couch, one on the coffee table in front of the couch for $100 less, and a third online for $250 less than the coffee table price. They were also doing a 15% off deal this weekend. So I asked them to simply honor their own price online and give me the weekend deal. I was told they would up the shipping price if I were to do that. Customers shouldn't have to figure out which price to go with for the same object from the same company. I called three times to the store and the matter still isn't settled. They are calling me tomorrow because they don't have a manager today so now I have to take time out of my work day. Horrible system and terrible business practices. Purposefully misleading and confusing customers. I will never buy from this company again and I don't think anyone else should either. If I could leave them 0 stars I would. Update: In order to cancel the order I had to physically send someone to the store because they refused to answer the phones for days. My mother lives about 30 minutes closer to the store than I do and offered to go in for me to simply get them to call me. When they refused to call me I told her just to put me on speaker phone on her cell. The saleswoman who sold me the couch finally spoke with me at that point. I negotiated with her asking for the best advertised price for the couch and the weekend deal of 15% off that was going on the weekend I purchased the item. I was told no and she hung up on me. She then proceeded to trash talk me calling me unreasonable to my own mother and saying how horrible I was for asking for their own advertisements to be honored. She tried to say that "Ashley global" is not part of them and they are a franchise. Yet they advertise that they are the #1 furniture and mattress retailer in the nation. You can't use the name when it suits you and ditch it when it doesn't. After dealing with the poor customer service for weeks and finally canceling the order I was told it would be 7 to 10 business days to get my money back. I canceled the order on 3/26 and still haven't gotten my money back. at the time of writing this it is 4/13. I am now being told it will be early next week sometime and I should get refunded. This has been the worst shopping experience I have ever had and I went to the DMV to buy a new license plate last week. If the DMV is doing better than your business that's just sad. read more

Do yourself a favor and shop somewhere else. I purchased a couch, loveseat, and recliner on May 30. I was told 4 weeks for delivery which as a customer I thought was already excessive but we went ahead with the deal with that time frame as the sales agreement. Four week go by and I get a text saying they have our stuff and are ready to deliver to pick a day. I picked July 2nd and received a confirmation for this date. The next day I get a call from a rather unenthusiastic person with Ashley Homestore saying our order is being delayed till July 21st. Nearly two months of a wait is ridiculous when sale was contingent on the four week time frame. I have tried calling the store and the number for complaints listed on the receipt where I was placed in a holding queue for thirty minutes before being disconnected on both numbers. Had I been told originally it would take 2 months or more from the start I would not of made the purchase at this location and would of shopped elsewhere. Seeing as there appears to be multiple complaints all sharing a common theme it really is entering the realm of fraud. Buyer beware at this business. read more
