After waiting a month for my table, my delivery was schedule from 12-3pm. At 1:45 the driver calls and says he is 20 minutes away, at 2:30 he say he is outside. I went outside to help them in and no truck, no driver, no table. I walked around my building TWICE while talking to the driver and he was nowhere to be found and kept saying "I'm on the other side of the building"...there are only FOUR sides to a high-rise and I walked around twice. Called customer service at 3, to figure out what is going on and why the driver keeps saying he is outside my building when he is clearly not and they say they can't get him on the phone. An hour later someone says, we just talked to the driver and he waited till 3:20 and now is in Sugarland, I live in greenway. After another hour of talking to multiple people and being placed on hold, customer service say they will have him come by after their route around 6:30. At 6:30, I call and they say now it will be around 9:30. Well 9:30 came and went and still no table. Called this morning and customer service says that the driver called at 9:40 and there was no response so they didn't try to deliver. So after, leaving work early to meet them from 12-3 and then spending hours complaining to get them to deliver my stuff that night, I wouldn't pick up my phone and nothing would show up on caller ID...so I can leave work early again another day? Really, does that even make sense? After spending another hour with customer service my table is schedule now from 4-9, so have to leave work early again...hopefully this is the last time I ever have to deal with Ashley Furniture. Update- Well, as you may have guessed no one came for the 4-9 delivery slot and now customer service says my order was canceled by someone at the store, but store says they didn't cancel anything. Now all I want is my money back but ASHLEY ONLY HAS a 48 HOUR RETURN POLICY FROM THE POINT OF PURCHASE NOT FROM DELIVERY, OTHERWISE YOU HAVE TO TAKE STORE CREDIT!!! I was skeptical at first going here as Rooms to Go and Nebraska deliver much faster but I must say it was the best decision. Thomas Davis immediately acknowledged my husband and I along with our 3 yr old. Moving from a different state is frustrating as is and not having a furnished home even more. But Thomas delivered exceptional service. He made sure we received the best deal possible. He communicated in an honest way and if he didn't know something he immediately introduced us to his manager who was wonderful as well. Thomas communicated the time the furniture would arrive, pice matched anything and everything possible,was patient as we told him we will see other options and return back if we wanted. He shared his time and availability clearly. The first set of things we purchased were mattresses. They arrived quickly two days as Mondays they don't deliver. Ashley gives you 2 hr window informs you when they will come. The next few pieces would arrive the following weeks because of availability but that was communicated clearly. My dad and I recently moved in to a new house, so we looked around online for a new sofa and love seat as well as a set for a kitchen breakfast / dinner table. We stumbled upon some of the best deals for new furniture online at Ashley HomeStore's website. I contacted the store to see if they had the furniture we wanted as a floor model so I could see it in person and I spoke with a salesman named Judge who explained to me that we got even more off by purchasing in store since they were doing a St. Patrick's Day sale. When I got to the store, I was able to look at everything we needed and Judge made it very easy to get in and out with little hassle. We also came way under budget for what we expected to spend. I also highly recommend going ahead and getting the delivery setup from them as the delivery came in very good condition and they set up all of our furniture for us in only about 15 - 30 minutes so we could start using everything right away. We originally purchased a sofa that is made with the Durablend fabric. This was on a Saturday. The following Monday I started reading on-line about a number of customers reporting issues with this product within the first year, which led me to regret our choice. The store has a 24 hour cancellation policy, which we were well past, but we went back to see what our options might be. We spoke with Arlon, the assist manager, who was incredibly gracious. With no push back he agreed to refund 100%, and to let us choose something else if we desired to do so. We had made our original purchase during a 24% off sale, which was now over. He agreed to let us purchase at the sale price anyway. They were under no obligation to do any of this for us. We found something that we liked even more than our original selection, and left very happy customers. It was clear that the foremost objective of the manager and of the store was customer satisfaction. As a result, we will go back and buy from them again. read more

My husband and I just purchased a home and we went to Ashley's in Plano to furnish some of the home. We spent 2 1/2 hours deciding between collections that we loved and Cathy, our salesperson, was so kind and helpful throughout the process. It can be kind of challenging to match certain pieces to different collections, but when you have an experienced salesperson like Cathy to help, it makes the process much easier! I REALLY enjoyed her honesty, which usually is a quality many people in sales are NOT known for. Cathy gave her expert advice on mixing and matching particular patterns and textures for the different rooms. we purshased tempurpedic mattress , we are promised to get 90 day's guranteed satisfaction , we can replace it or return it, , we did not like the one we ordered and requested a replacment, however the deliverd one was obviously not new and used/ returned from another customer , i complaint ,they apologized and promised to deliver a new one . they deliverd it 4/27 and looked okay however there was no booklet with it like we did with the new one, and when i took a photo of the mattress tag at the bottom of the mattress to register for my warrany, the ink on the tag was fading, wich means this is also not new mattress and has been used..i am so mad i paid for a new and i expect that as per contract. i am not done with ashley yet but i am very disappointed that i have to go through this. read more

I've been buying furniture at Ashley for decades. They always have a good selection. The furniture seems to hold up well throughout the years. They always have good sales and financing options. After searching other competitors, I picked several pieces at Ashley, because they looked nicer, were less expensive, and didn't take the 8 weeks to deliver like some other furniture stores. My sales rep, Judge Brandon, was very friendly and helpful. He assisted me in choosing the right pieces, and even moved chairs and tables for me several times around the store to make sure things would coordinate. So when I speak about the light hearted, but VERY helpful service we received from Ruben - it's by comparison to the other 4 salesmen we met that day. The selection was great, but more important to us was the fact Ruben actually had an opinion. I just want to say that we were just absolutely floored at how incredible my sales person was. Tessa is the best! She is so knowledgeable, friendly and sweet.
