What a terrible delivery experience parents bought over $5,000 CASH of furniture. The delivery date was not in a timely fashion, but we went with it anyway. After first initial date, it was pushed back again. Finally when half of the order arrived 2 of the 5 things were broken or "missing" something. So here we are 3 weeks after ordering with literally half a bunk bed and a dinning table with no chairs. I am very disappointed with Ashley store. I liked 2 pieces I bought but a fabric sofa I am very disappointed. As much as they charge I think the quality should be better. I had a rip after 6 months of purchase and within 2 months it was replaced. Then another cushion was ripping. The tech came out and said the part had to be ordered, when it came it was wrong piece then another the zipper was broken. I had tried for 6 weeks calling every day leaving a message and NO return call. I finally called and pushed a different button and someone answered and set up the tech appt even though it was 3 weeks before they could come. When the guy came today we find out they sent the wrong piece. He wanted me to just call the protection plan and they would replace the sofa. I called NOW the protection plan says the plan doesn't cover the material pulling apart I am so angry it was still under Ashley's warranty and they should take care of this problem. What a horrible experience. I am going to try to contact the manager, owner or sue this company. This is NOT right. I am so tired and frustrated with this situation. read more

We have purchased several pieces of furniture from Ashley before, up in Ridgecrest, California and now Palmdale, California. Each time they have come in and set up our furniture right where we wanted them. The couch for the living room set we got when we moved into our current house had the seat on the center section come apart. We called the service center they had a new section delivered to the house within a couple weeks, and the technician came the next day and put our couch together. A couple months ago we ordered new living room seating, the previously mentioned set was thoroughly worn. They came in put it all together and placed them where we wanted them. Our shopping experience was has always been great with them. This last time we had ordered a sectional, got home and found out that it was too big for our living room. When we called them to let them know, they were awesome about it, and cancelled our order. The next Saturday, we went down and looked around some more. We ended up getting a 5 piece set and it looks and fits great!!! We'll be coming to them for our next purchase, new/BIGGER dinette to replace our current/small one that we have had for 12 years. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. My wife and I bought a full bedroom furniture set Presidents' Day weekend from the salesmen Noe. He was very helpful and nice (at first) but we informed him that we need this furniture ASAP because we were moving out of the state of California within the next 3 weeks. He said no problem and promised us the world. He upsold the protection policy just in case our furniture was damaged upon arrival and we paid cash for everything. Was told, by Noe himself, that our furniture would be no later than 2 weeks delivered. Cut to the day of delivery - I get notified that our nightstands were on back order and may not be delivered until April (well after our move). That alone was very upsetting because Noe told us differently because he knew our circumstances. Not only that but we received a damaged footboard to our bed frame and Noe and Ashley's furniture refuses to give us a new footboard even though we paid extra for the protection policy. I hope this review gets back to the manager because I am requesting a full refund from all the lies and run arounds Noe and Ashley's Furniture is giving us. The salesman Bobby was the nicest person I talked to over there. However when it comes to customer service especially on the phone its non existent. I went back the day after the furniture was delivered with my complaint. I spent almost $4000 on a mattress and box spring and I'm stuck with it. I was told I had to let it break in. But if you let it break in you cant return it. If the company does in fact LET me exchange it I cannot get the difference in price. I asked to talk to a manager and was hung up on then transferred to another company who only has a website. I called back to the 611 Palmdale number and was told I got customer service Corp. who said they would get a manager on the phone with US. The other half of US hung up leaving me with some rude smartass named Alex who said he was a manager but did NOT act like any manager I've ever talked to. He was absolutely no help. I was told yesterday whe I went all the way back to the store 35 mi one way that I would receive a phone call TODAY which I did not. Alex said he was too busy. I recently purchased two beds for my 9 and 12 year olds from Ashley HomeStore in Palmdale CA. I originally put up a great review for the crew that came out to assemble them. They were on time and professional. A few days later I walk in the room to get some sheets on those beds and get a nail in my foot. That of course made me wonder if any others were on the carpet and find 2 more screws, one in each room. I'm glad I found these before one of my kids were playing and stepped on them. I have been a long time customer and spent thousands of dollars in this low quality store, poor customer service store! As of recently I ordered a living room set from them for the second time in the past 4 years because their furniture does not last very long. However i was willing to spend more on my living room set time around and hopefully get better quality. I placed an order a month ago. I had to wait to July 27th for delivery, I checked my order the night before and it looked to be routed. I called in the morning to try to get an eta. I even messaged them on their on line system to never received a response either.The person who answered transfered me with out answer or reason. I was being avoided. And transferred from department to department with out answers. I waited all day for this delivery to finally get ahold of someone and to be told that it was rescheduled for August 09. With out notice or calls. I explained to her that I never received a call nor do I have a voice mail. They have a secondry number they were able to call and no call was registered at that number either. However they did not call!!! Per the "manager" in the store. How can they wait until the night before to reschedule deliveries that have been on hold for more than a month already and not give the customer a call so they don't spend their day waiting for a delivery that would never happen. Our sales person Bobby richards assured us it would be delivered before that date. I guess any lie is good to get a sale. Not only did we find them price gouging us always check their price on line and in store they are completely different. There was a $800.00 difference in what they billed us in store and what they had advertised in store. The only reason I found out was because a sales person told me not to check on line prices. Obviously I had to check and I can see why they didn't want us too. When we brought it to the manager she said oh well we price match. How can you price match your OWN store. Inl will never spend another dollar at this store and neither should you!! They will lie and do what they want to get your money and then blame it on the warehouse. Now we are with out couches until August 9th because a whole company can't get it together. They didn't have it, so I pulled it up on my cell, they met the price, and half an hour later we left with the loveseat purchased and delivery date inked. We came to this store thinking that their furniture would be worth it. We bought 18K worth of furniture. So far we are very disappointed with the way things were handled from the beginning. We were given different dates as to when they would be able to deliver everything. We didn't mind waiting due to the pandemic and then the BLM protests. Things happen and it was well understood from our side. However, what is not acceptable is having to drive to the store anytime we need answers because their promised delivery dates didn't happen and they were not professional enough to keep us updated. We wasted days and time waiting for them to deliver. We placed the orders on May 25th, it's been over a month and we've only received 1/4 of the stuff we ordered on June 3rd. We were told the rest of the stuff would be here by June 28. We again went to the store because we didn't get them. Finally, July 1st was their "final confirmed" date for the rest of the stuff to come in. We called to check when they would be arriving and the rude woman who answered the phone told us that they were waiting for us to confirm that we would be here and that they cancelled the delivery due to us not confirming! We went the store 3 weeks ago to ask what had happened because no one called to let us know the delivery date had been postponed yet again. She still had the audacity to hang up the phone pretending she couldn't hear me. Rude, unprofessional people. The least they can do is at least update. read more

I Purchased a couch, a loveseat, and a recliner, the couch was delivered with a hole in it. I contacted customer service within 10 minutes of the delivery and was told that they would have someone come out and repair my brand new couch. As we all know we work hard for our money and that was unacceptable. I drove directly to the store where the store manager Linda assured me that I would receive an even exchange. However their customer service department would not honor their store managers decision. Their customer service employees told me I did not follow protocol. My comment back was "protocol you should have delivered a couch without a hole in it". I ended up back at Ashley's store where again the store manager Linda supported me receiving an even exchange. Thinking this would happen I left satisfied. However I continued to receive several more messages from their customer service department which were not kind, telling me I was NOT going to receive an exchange. I finally filed a dispute with my credit card company who did a charge back and still at that point Ashley's customer service department was rude and told me I would NOT be receiving an exchange. Another customer service employee told me that a text that they had sent me which said in at two places I needed to call to reschedule, said they were confirming the delivery, NOT saying I needed to reschedule, obviously she could read the text but she could not comprehend the language in the text. I was told I had talked to people I hadn't, it goes on and on. It took me 3 weeks to resolve the issue. I would NOT recommend their furniture. Juan the salesman was awesome he worked with me and was plain out kind. Linda the store manager was understanding as well as professional (imagine being a store manager and being told your support of insuring a customer receives quality products doesn't matter; Ashley customer service comments). Stephanie the IN store customer service gal was fantastic. So bottom line if you are dealing with the employees in the store you will have a great experience, if you are dealing with Ashley's customer service you don't ever want to shop there. There is a LOT more negative comments and actions that were made but I am not writing a book ha. I would NOT recommend Ashely Home Goods. Would not recommend this store to anyone. Purchased a dining room set with dishes, rug, placemats, two bedroom dressers and an entertainment center. Delivery was set for Dec 8 between 10am and 2pm. At 230 I recieved a call that my delivery would be between 230pm and 6pm. They showed up at 5pm with bunk beds. When I showed them my order, they retrieved the chairs to my dining set and said the table was missing from the delivery. I asked when it would be delivered and he assured me he would have it next day. They set up the rest of the furniture. They took pictures of everything they dropped off, I declined a chair because it was damaged, and they asked for a signature. When I asked for my plates he said they were on backorder and to call customer service. Needless to say three days later, I never received my table or my replacement chair and I have called customer service everyday. I had an excellent experience at the Ashley furniture home store in Palmdale, California. My salesman Mukesh did an excellent job of helping me find the furniture I was looking for. Mukesh was knowledgeable and was not overbearing or a hard sell. Made me feel very comfortable working with him for my furniture needs. I went in one day to look for a chair and ottoman then discovered extra Wide recliners. When I went back two days later I ended up getting a love seat in the same brand that has dual power recliner's. The sale prices were fabulous and I feel the quality of furniture will last. Our Palmdale location is excellent . It is huge and Has so much furniture you could spend hours looking at it all. I highly recommend the Palmdale location. Ashley furniture is quality furniture that I feel will last a long time. When I am looking for more furniture for my house I will definitely be back and I hope he still works there because I will ask for him. read more
