What an aggravating disappointment. I was fed a bunch of lies in the store because they knew the delivery period was crucial and then they never came through and didn't bother to help make it right. Horrible customer service, unreliable, unresponsive. Never again. The sales rep from this store gave me his cell # - not sure why as he never bothered to reply to my requests for help. This is the most difficult store I've ever dealt with- impossible to get anyone on the phone. I see I am not the only one with a horrible experience and I am sure I won't be the last. Went there to buy a chair they had four chairs in the show room that were the exact same and they said they don't sell furniture from the show room at that the chair was not at the factory for another four weeks I would never buy there if they can't sell what is in the store and they have four of the same exact thing. Was promised by the salesperson that the sectional couch I purchased 6 weeks ago was in stock, wouldn't be sold to someone else, and would be delivered on the delivery date. Found out the day before delivery, after getting rid of our old couch that it is back ordered and will be several more weeks! We moved into our new house and now we are couchless! We wouldn't have bought if he would have been honest with us. Plus it was a $600 delivery charge that Ashley is refusing to refund! I didn't buy anything here but I went in today for a look around to compare 4th of July clearance prices and I was helped by carla today and she was very nice and very helpful. She was understanding when we asked for lower priced sofas and she asked the right questions to help me understand what I'm buying without having to say too much. She let me comfortably look around with my girlfriend on our own. It was a great experience, so even if the product itself isn't that good, at least I know that the customer service is great! read more

We have been a costumer at Ashley Furniture for many years and have spent thousands of dollars there. We recently bought a recliner that is less than 2 months old that is broken. It will not close. After waiting for a week for a call, we got a number to call service. They can't come out for over 2 1/2 weeks. My father is handicapped and can not sit in the chair without having major trouble. We got a superviser on and he tried to compare their service to a doctor's office. It was ridiculous. Ashley Furniture has just lost a longtime customer. read more

Over the weekend I took my Mom sofa and chair shopping at Ashley. From the moment we entered until the moment we left it was a great experience! Our salesperson, Sarah, was fantastic. We told her what we were looking for and she accommodated everyone of our wishes. We never felt pressured to buy. We were very pleased with the variety of styles and the many accessories in the store. They also were following Covid protocol which made us feel more comfortable about being out in public. This review is about Ashley's DELIVERY service. Maria at the store is great. Very helpful and knowledgeable about what the store has. However, TWICE we have responded to delivery confirmations and then.... waited all day and got stood up! x2! I told Maria she needs to get on the delivery crew's case... she works hard to earn a customer's repeat business, and then.... the delivery gal on the phone says we did not confirm. We did. 2 of us. I want to start this off by saying our salesman Henry was amazing. He was knowledgeable and had great recommendations and really took care of us. Unfortunately, setting up the delivery is why I have to give them 1 star. We were having our delivery set for Monday March 1st. We got a text giving us a window for delivery the day before. Unfortunately the window didn't work so we had to call to see about changing the delivery. We called the number given and talked to someone and requested if we could have our time changed to a later time. We are moving from another city and would not be in town early enough. The person we talked to said they would put a note on our account and have the warehouse call us back to either change the time or change the delivery. And that's where it falls apart. We never received a call back. When we tried to call back to confirm changes, they were already closed. First thing this morning, I received a text saying my furniture was set to be delivered in 15 minutes. Being 3 hours away, that was a problem. After 40 minutes of talking to various people, we were told that it would be delivered Tuesday March 9th but we have still not been guaranteed that day, so pretty much a week without a bed. We were also told that they could not guarantee an earlier rescheduled delivery because our bed was out of stock and because they didn't deliver it, it would go back to the warehouse to fulfill someone else's order! So even though I paid for everything, it was somehow going to be someone else's. What baffles me the most is that we were somehow to blame though we did not receive a call back. If we received a call back the day before saying our delivery time could not be changed, we would have changed plans and made accommodations to receive our order. We were told that though there were notes on our account of the request, there was no record of who made those notes. This was said in an accusatory way as if we had made this mistake. Again. Henry is an amazing salesperson and I wish he would have handled the entire process. Unfortunately trying to schedule and reschedule a delivery has been a nightmare and every person we talked to was rude, blamed us, and refused any help. Update on my review. We are still being blamed for not getting called back to change the delivery on our order. They have now given our already paid for products away and are now telling us that the already paid for products are back ordered and we will not be getting our delivery for another 12 days. Wow. There has been nobody reaching out to actually solve this problem. Shame on this company. read more

Wish there was a way to give zero stars. Tried twice to purchase a massage chair for my business twice. First order was cancelled by Ashley due to shipping and home address was different. I have used my Visa before for online business purchases before and had zero issues with getting items delivery to my work. Tried to order a second time, and was promised a 5% inconvenience discount. A week goes by and no update on my order, I check my Visa online and see the order is still "pending" and I was charged the full amount. Again I contact Ashley and was told to place a third order. I advised I would not be placing a third order as it was craziness and was told they are having web issues. Do not buy online from them as they have no idea how to run a online store, go through Costco who has their shi& together and let this place die a bankruptcy death. pathetic read more

Bought a bunk bed, scheduled a delivery, confirmed a delivery day and time, then they didn't make the appointment, then I had to call to see what happened and they tried to schedule a new delivery a month out. I found a similar bed used online I could get same day, I decided to go that route. I called to get a refund they said they can't do it over the phone I had to come in. When I came in I didn't have my credit card that I used on me and they would not refund my money. At this point I'm going to cancel through my credit card company as it is easier to deal with them than Ashley. I was treated rudely by both costumer service and the shipping and delivery department. It's a shame because their sales staff was so nice and helpful, and there products are very nice given the affordability. read more

I am sick and tired of hearing "because of higher than normal call volume" ....if you cared you might just have more people manning the phones! Phone service is SAFE! So don't give me the Covid19 crap. While I'm writing this, I'm on hold, for over 25 min. now with a serious problem with our sofa sleeper. The recording says; if you wish leave your name and brief description for the reason you are calling, we will call you back within 24-48 hours! Seriously?! Buy cheap, get cheap. BEWARE AND RUN--If you need your furniture right away it is not going to happen. We ordered an apartment full of furniture May 28, 2020 and it is July 23 and we still do not have all the furniture. The salesperson said that we would get all the furniture by July 1, 2020. The last delivery(three deliveries) came today and the bed was damaged and we needed to send it back. Be aware that the sales people work on commission so they tend to be very pushy. After they sell they have very little if nothing do with delivery. Also look closely at the invoice before signing because they can also be fast talking. I highly suggest that you go to Mathis Brothers, somewhere where they warehouse the furniture right on location for prompt delivery. The product is nice but see all the disadvantage above. We brought our teenage children with us and set them free in the store. Derrick was very patient with us as everyone had a different opinion, he was knowledgeable and helped our family decide on a couch, loveseat, recliner, a dining room table and an awesome coffee table. We left very pleased with our purchase and look forward to bringing it home. This is our second time purchasing from this location and they always take care of us. We ordered a very expensive mattress,box spring and upholstered headboard from them. It was all to be assembly upon delivery. Not true!! When it came, the first thing the delivery man asked was why didn't we get the matching frame? Why? We didn't know there was one, we were never given that option even though we asked. Second, he couldn't attach the headboard to the frame they sent us because they didn't include the necessary hardware! Yeah Ashley, way to go to get repeat customers. The kicker is, we were told by the head of customer service (and I use that term lightly) that they would send us the necessary hardware asap so we could complete the project! Guess what? I purchased lamps, coffee tables and accessories on Oct 25, 2019 and I was suppose to receive my delivery on Nov 4th. It was never delivered on that day. So, I called the store and their customer service dept. tells me "oh no you won't receive it till the 8th and she had the nerve to say "we can't give you something we don't have!" She didn't apologize or anything she just smart comments and cutting me off while I was explaining my issue!!! Long story short , my furniture was suppose to be delivered on 11/4, then 11/8, then 11/11 I did recent coffee tables only, but the accessories had been delivered yet, so then I was told my $199.99 accessories would be delivered till 11/23, then 12/3..... still nothing!!! Their customer service girl was horrible, she was rude, she had a smart mouth, she was disrespectful and very nasty!!!! I'm not at this point tired of the rudeness of their call center/customer service, I go physically into the local store, trying to resolve my issues or just getting my money back at this point so I could just go somewhere else. While I was in the store trying to resolve my issues, there were a few others that came in with similar issues and angry! This review is for the pricing(bait & switch) policy only. Currently the store is promoting a 50% off sale on EVERYTHING in the store. There is a large poster hanging next to the front door. I found a chair with a large red price sticker of $399 on it. I assumed it would be 50% off. WRONG! The discount is off the suggested retail price which is also on the tag in very small print. That number was $699. Does Ashley think we are stupid? I have purchased furniture at this store. I have no complaints on the quality and the prices I paid, but this to me is a scam regarding this current sale pricing. read more
