VERY DISAPPOINTED. Ordered and paid for a bed in early Jan. They said it would arrive in 6 weeks and we could pick it up on Feb. 15. It did not arrive. They told me it was a delay and I could pick it up on Feb. 22. It did not arrive and now they tell me it won't get here before April. If my partner did not like it so much, I would have canceled the order. I am really disappointed in the service. I was also told I would get a weekly update on its status since it may come in before April. I have not gotten one yet. So disappointed. This is the worst service I have received since moving back to Texas in January. read more

I came by to check out the furniture at the retail store, especially the vertical drawer. I came across 3 different ones, and there was a lady who came to help us not tell us her name when I had a family member there to help me communicate tried to ask her for her name. Then we seemed to be doing fine talking about the first one i liked, and then she said it would match the discount from any store and then refuse to match the discount because it's not "Ashleys" price. So i decide to move to outlet and found 2 different drawers i like but she constantly come up with an excuse of why I couldnt biy it such as that i would not able to hauling box in my Jeep, which is big enough to haul box, especially when I will have to assemble it myself. Gave us excuse why we wouldn't able to buy one today and will have to ship it to my house, then finally she said we will not be able to receive anything from this store. Then everything just went south from there, she constantly gives us an attitude, basically halting us from purchase one since the moment we walked into this store, so we decided to give up and told her we're gonna keep shopping around. She got mad and walked back to the original store, we left without buying anything. Sadly, I did like some of their furniture, but now I will never recommend this place to anyone, nor will I ever buy anything from that store ever! read more

So disappointed with this store. First of all we ordered a twin size bed with twin size matress. When it was delivered, the matress didn't fit in the bed. We could see the floor through the space the matress left. We called 3 times, and every time we called the person could not find our information or delivery info. When they finally found it she said that model needs extra products which I could purchase. When we said no we are not buying more stuff because we bought the bed and matress as it looked on display and spoke to sales associate on what we needed. The manager got on the phone to say that's how the bed is supposed to be and there is supposed to be space. Really, we are supposed tl see the floor?!?!?! No attempts to help us out and we called 3 times already. I guess I will keep trying until we get it fixed. read more

Picked up my chest yesterday opened package and it was destroyed. Called the store three times I was told I would be called back each time and didn't hear anything. After waiting for a call back over a two day period I went in the store and asked for a manager. She was extremely rude and gave attitude saying I need to bring in the broken chest. Finally she gave me the shipping people an order to pick it up from our house. Unfortunately I did not ask for the persons name I talked to so she said she couldn't help me. If I could give zero stars I would. My husband and I bought a couch set a week ago. The sales lady said the couch set we wanted to purchase had a power feature and when it got delivered it didn't. So we called the store and the sale lady laughed about it and then we asked to talk to the manager and he said the owner wouldn't honor the miscommunication in pricing. I went there for mattress n bed the salesman was very kind n tried help so long story short I ended up buying king mattress n bed n the owner or Manager gave me a deal at least acting like it so I signed it so when I came home the bed was too large for my bed so I went to website to check up queen size bed n c how much different sizes n stuff but omg the bed exact model king size bed was $1,179 but at the store she changed me at first $ 1,799 n trying to tell me if I go with 2 years financing she will go down to $1,499 n than they told me mattress have sales price for 4th July sale but I only got $100 off so basically I didn't get any money off but paid way more than retail price n the store financing guy was so rude I was spending almost $5,000 dollars in there n treat like crap may be I'm Asian n woman ? I felt so bad n when I back there next morning to change my order cuz first bed was way too big for my room had no choice than the owner woman fixing for me n same thing she had so cold attitude didn't even looked at me with short sentence n rudeness I'll tell u I still was spending over $3,200 for mattress but fell like shit I'll never go this store no matter what I never been felt so disrespected as customer spending so much money n treat this way no one should treated this way either they buy thing from there or not either spending thousands to nothing they r unprofessional n very uneducated way I c n I felt race-schism also . read more

I usually despise furniture stores because I hate being followed around the store and pressured into things. However, we had an amazing time and experience from Natasha. We told her what we were looking for and she pointed us in the direction of where to find it, told us to browse, and she would follow up with us. PERFECT!!! We ended up going with a beautiful 14 piece living room set. We found these adorable lanterns that we wanted instead of the lamps and the manager was totally fine with letting us making that exchange. Bought an entire home set from this store. Two kids bedroom set and a master bedroom set. Along with the bedrooms sets we bought the extended warranty for all items bought. Now I've moved out of state to Hawaii due to military move and I am being told that my warranty is voided. Well why didn't some explain that when I spend over 6 thousands dollars buying furniture from you guys? Now I asked how to refund my money for the warranty and I'm being told they don't do refunds. What a rip off. I spend a lot of money on the warranty and never used it and not it's voided. These People basically ripped me off and will probably continue to do this to other customers as well. I bought new leather sofas, two of them. Things were great when they found that I was paying not financing. The purchase was fine but when the furniture was delivered and I found that sitting on it was very uncomfortable, plus on leather you just slide out of it. I went to the store to talk with them, when I was talking to Jeff the mgr, you would have thought that I had been sprayed by a skunk. The guy told me that as soon as I took delivery it was used furniture and they dont deal with used furniture. Basically tough luck was their attitude. I certainly was not told this info when I was getting ready to spend 2000.00 in their store. The store is also privately owned, shame on you owner for allowing such cheating business practices to go on in your store. NO effort to help. read more

We purchased a sectional from Ashley recently. After shopping in Austin and Killeen we liked the sectional at Ashley the best. We worked with 2 sales people (Crockett and Walter). Both of them were very helpful, not pushy at all and worked very hard to earn our business. We got an exceptional price on our furniture. The delivery people were very professional and noticed a scuff on the end of 2 pieces. He brought it to our attention and noted it on the invoice and let the store know. They reordered the pieces with no questions asked and delivered the 2 replacement pieces. I highly recommend this store and Crockett or Walt. Thank you for great customer service. read more

Stay away from this store unless you like to be misled. My husband and I were looking around to compare prices for a new home we were CLOSING on. This was the first store we went to. We specifically went to Ashley Furniture due to the commercial we saw on TV stating that the SALE was a certain % OFF and 0% Financing for a specific amount of months. As soon as we entered we were greeted by a sales rep, we mentioned the SALE we saw on TV. The rep immediately asked us if we wanted to sit down and see what amount we could get pre approved for. I went over and sat down to discuss the pre approval quote. They strategically had brochures placed at the desk I was sitting at stating 90 days no Finance no credit report needed. As I thought this is what we were doing, I signed the paperwork for the "pre approval quote". I then verified that what I just did was actually a HARD HIT on my credit report. What was done was done. Chalked it up to be a misunderstanding and lesson learned, however I thought it to be poor business to not explain this upfront since they had this brochure RIGHT THERE! While I was getting the pre approval quote my husband was being bombarded by the sales rep and they were trying to get info out of him without me being there. We did not appreciate the aggressive behavior. Throughout our time spent with the sales rep we were quoted that the pieces of furniture we wanted came with certain SPECs that they didn't. We quoted what we heard on the commercial when we entered the store and they didn't correct us until the end of the conversation before we left. YOU DO NOT GET BOTH % OFF and 0% Financing. I am also military, and I was not able to use my military discount if we chose the 0% Financing option. We were also told we could lock in the 0% Financing and whatever % OFF THEY SCANNED (but not what was on commercial) on this coupon they had if we put $1 down on layaway. We were also told that it would cost $99 to deliver the furniture to our future home. When we sat down to put the $1 down we were informed that the SPECs we were told about didn't come with the furniture and that we had to put $25 down instead of $1 to lock in the "SALE" and that the $99 quote for the delivery was not correct it was actually $150. The manager allowed us to negotiate a price for delivery between $99-$150. Later that week we got a WELLS FARGO credit card in the mail. What they did was OPENED UP A CREDIT LINE without us being aware of it. This all happened in the middle of us closing on a home. We were lucky that it didn't hurt our % rate for our home loan. We were called constantly by the sales rep to the point where we had to block the number (they continued to call from 2 other numbers in which we blocked those as well). We went in and canceled the layaway after we got exactly what we wanted to order from Ashley Furniture and then some at the Post Exchange for $5k less and better Financing options. We got our $25 back and were still constantly called by the sales rep. The last time they called I informed them of what we found out and that we did not appreciate the deception and unethical way of their sales. This rep was also part of a military family and to think they would do this to another military family is disgusting. Be careful if shopping here. Sales reps and pre approval reps are not honest upfront and extremely pushy. read more

DO NOT PURCHASE LEATHER FURNITURE FROM THIS OR ANY OTHER ASHLEY FURNITURE LOCATION. In July 2015 I purchased what the salesperson told me was a 'genuine leather recliner sofa and loveseat'. I only purchased those two pieces for the my living room area and they cost me a little over 3k. I was a little worried about punctures in the material because I have small children and that is THE ONLY reason I decided to purchase the extended warranty. Less than a year later, I noticed that the material had begun to crack and peel all over. I called the and spoke with the 'Tech' at the store I was told that this WAS NOT considered normal wear. At which point I asked if it were possible to exchange the furniture or get a partial refund to apply toward new furniture. I was told that the furniture had a one year manufacturer warranty and even though it wasn't normal wear and tear my only option would be to allow them to repair/replace the material. Not only was this problem not considered normal, I also was told that the material was ONLY GENUINE LEATHER IN THE SEATING AREA. OTHER AREAS WERE A BLEND aka I was misled and overcharged and had no way of returning the furniture, I could only repair and "since I'd purchased the extended warranty, I shouldn't worry about whether I continue to experience the problem because I was covered". I didn't pay for genuine leather only to be told that it isn't really leather or that the lotion I use or the detergent my clothing is washed in might be causing the material to wear or that it was a good thing I had the extended warranty so that if it happens again I'm covered." It took them two weeks to pick the couch up for repair and while it was returned in a matter of days, the failed to repair a portion of it and I had to have them come back to my home to fix it. Talk about irritated. Do yourselves a favor...avoid by leather furniture from this store and if you decide to buy any furniture from them at all ASK PLENTY OF QUESTIONS about the furniture, the warranty, ask them to show you what is covered in the warranty and what is not. As for me, NEVER AGAIN. read more

Horrible! Ordered 2end tables. Supposed to come in 2/11/12 but when I called back they told me the date on the ticket was an estimate ... Really everywhere else you go they give an exact date for pickup... So I was told they would be in today 2/13/12. I called around noon, still nothing. I was told they will call as soon as they come in. 5pm and still nothing. I call @ 5:34pm, they are in, but unfortunately the warehouse closed at 5 so I can't pick them up.. BUYER BEWARE! What the heck???? My wife and I were looking to buy furniture to upgrade our new home. We walked into Ashley's and a sales lady walked up to us. We explined we wanted a new living room set and dining room set for our new home. We also explained my wife has a bad knee and we're in need of a recliner that has a lever or electric recliner. This lady showed us a recliner that you had to use your legs to close. I explained again about my wife's condition and she huffed. We began to walk to another part of the store when I noticed a beautiful dining table. The lady turned around and said, I'll just let you look around and walked off......What the heck! This lady walked off and just stood in the middle of the store. I told me wife if she doesn't want to help us then we were going somewhere else to spend our hard earned money. We went to Ledger's furniture in Copperas Cove, Tx.( I highly recom this place) ......Well let me just say they went out of there way to help us and explained about all the different furniture, and types that would suit our needs. LONG STORY SHORT...WE SPENT $11,000 AND WAS HAPPY WITH OUR WONDERFUL PURCHASES. AM NOT AFFILIATED WITH MATTRESS LIQUIDATORS. With that said, GO TO MATTRESS LIQUIDATORS. My fiance and I were shopping for furniture in ASHLEY and our salesman had very bad sportsmanship, for lack of a better word. We already put money down on a WONDERFUL mattress from MATTRESS LIQUIDATORS that morning and only wanted a couch from Ashley. That salesman insulted MATTRESS LIQUIDATORS and told us to ask for our money back and buy a more expensive one from them. When you insult our purchase, you insult our judgement. And he wouldn't drop it. He said we should finance for $4000, even though we only liked a $500 couch, that way we could buy a new mattress too. MATTRESS LIQUIDATORS had the BEST customer service. They weren't pushy, nor did they insult their competitors OR remind us that they work on commission. Ashley did all of these things. GO TO MATTRESS LIQUIDATORS. They are wonderful! Help local businesses who CARE about their customers, instead of a big chain who clearly doesn't. read more

I bought furniture through this company and was told that because the furniture was not in their warehouse we had to wait 7-10 business days for it to be delivered. This was 3 weeks ago, and we still have not received our furniture. I called the store to try to arrange a delivery day but was told that because the warehouse does not yet have the furniture they could not give me an delivery appointment. My family leaves for vacation next week and I'm afraid that our furniture will not get here before I leave. Each time I call I am told that my furniture will be here on a different day. It is truly an inconvenience to spend a lot of money for a product based on what is told to you from the sales department, and then the company not following through. Had I known this furniture would not be here before I left for vacation, I would not have made the purchase. I hope that once this is all settled, there aren't any additional issues with their furniture or its quality. read more
