My husband and I purchased a $1,500 mattress from Ashley Furniture and were told at the time of sale that we had a 90-day return window. After about one month of use, we began experiencing significant back pain and stopped using the mattress. It is still in like-new condition. We contacted the store within the 90-day period to initiate a return and were denied because the mattress protector we used was not purchased directly from Ashley. We were never informed that the return policy required purchasing an Ashley-branded mattress protector. We did use a mattress protector -- it was simply purchased elsewhere. This requirement was never disclosed at the time of purchase, and had it been clearly communicated, we would have reconsidered buying the mattress altogether. Spending $1,500 on a mattress and being denied a return over a brand technicality -- especially when the mattress is still in new condition and the request was made within the stated return window -- feels extremely misleading and unfair. Buyers should make sure they get every return condition in writing before purchasing. read more

Have purchased several items from Ashley Furniture over the years. Just had the worst experience ever. Walked into this location while stopping to charge my Tesla right out front. I asked where the restroom was located. After using the restroom while waiting for my fiancé to come out of the restroom, I was approached by the store manager who informed me that we needed to leave the store since we were not planning to buy anything since the sales person who works on commission couldn't make money from us. Few if any customers in the store and we were just kicked out for telling the sales guy we were just looking while we charge our car. That's insane!!! The manager on duty is a black female it happened at 2:30pm on June 16, 2025. She should be fired immediately. I want the regional supervisor to contact me to discuss. Return policy is way to limited. 72 hours is not nearly long enough to know if furniture will work in a space. Need to increase to the normal 30 days and base on condition of furniture. Was a regular Ashley customer have bought many items from them but will never use again read more

Nastiest personnel. Been buying furniture from Ashley before, stopped to charge Tesla and shop around. Been told that personnel here is on commission so if I'm not buying anything then I need to leave! Unbelievable!!! I spend about 15 minutes tops at the store. I went to Ashley Home Store a few weeks ago to check out some sectionals. The selections were decent with some nice contemporary options. The store is very spacious and organized. It's easy to navigate to different layout schemes. When I came into the store, I was greeted by a very nice sales associate. Her name was Alina who was very helpful. I showed her a sectional that I was interested. She was able to give me a quote of the sectional customized. I decided not to purchase a couch that day, but I will reach out to Alina if I change my mind. She was very helpful. read more

Went to purchase a wall art item that was clearly marked with a 30% off sign in front of the item with the description 30% off wall art They wouldn't honor the price Can't figure out their logic Will never walk into an Ashley store again I hate dishonest practices read more

My wife and I visited this location and I have to say, the service was excellent. I have been to plenty Ashley locations where the greeting was subpar and it pretty much kept rolling down hill. (My wife loves Ashley selections). Anywho, we were met and seemingly systematically escorted through the premises and locating every item on my wifes list. We were informed of all the characteristics matching our needs to a T. I just want to Thank Slim and everyone of the team there that assisted us in our shopping experience. We recently purchased a bedroom suite and new living room furniture. We purchased both at the St. John's location. After we purchased the sofa and loveseat, both equipment with USB ports and phone charging capabilities. Shortly after purchase, I received an email for what I thought was a power booster. It's not! All this $500 item does is help you hide your cords. I tried to return after speaking with Enouvation. Ashley Furniture will not take back something purchased online. Total BS. I will begin the process to sue for False Advertisement. read more

Ashley Store - Furniture Stores Near Me - Jacksonville, Florida

I honestly do hate giving this store only 2 stars, but I'm doing it because of the sales people. The employees here are just way too pushy for my liking and they always follow us around. Saying to them, "We're just looking" means nada. Like what are we gonna do, pick up a sofa and walk out the door with it? LOL I would be much more comfortable being left alone to look around on my own and I'll seek out help if I need it. Hubby and I have been here numerous times and the sales people are ALWAYS the same way. I said I hated only giving 2 stars because generally speaking, I really like Ashley Furniture. They have beautiful, quality pieces of furniture at fair prices. Yes, many of the pieces are going to cost more than what you'll find at Rooms To Go or American Signature, but you're also getting better quality. it's that whole "you get what you pay for thing." When I'm investing in furniture, I want it to last for many years, not just a few. If you can deal with pushy sales people, then you'll do fine in this store. If you're looking for a more laid back experience where you can actually browse without an employee on your heels, head to the Ashley Furniture at Blanding and 295 in Orange Park. http://www.yelp.com/biz/ashley-furniture-homestore-jacksonville-6 read more

I absolutely love the selections at Ashley but the customer service is extremely lacking. I walked around the store for over 30 minutes and was not greeted by a single sales rep and they had multiple reps walking around the store. Very disappointed. read more

Although I have experienced delays in several of the items in my order placed in May, the one thing that has never wavered is the service provided by my sales associate, Logan Seal. Logan has been very responsive, respectful, and is a hard-working young man that has always followed up on my inquiries. He has gone out of his way to provide me with a loaner mattress and boxspring and personally came to my home with a trainer to set up my Sleep Tracker. We are greatly appreciative of the superior customer service he has provided to us and would highly recommend working with him. Overall, we are very pleased with the quality of the furniture from the Bolanburg Collection and the Dandrea sofa and loveseat we ordered from Ashley. read more

I dread going in stores like these. All the salespeople hang out by the entrance and immediately jump on customers when they walk in the door. This business model should have gone out in the 1950's but here we are. It's uncomfortable for customers and it's degrading for the staff. It's furniture, it's not rocket science. I would be buying it online only for the fact that I want to feel the fabric. As a store, I found the furniture to be gaudy and tacky. Ashley also seems to have a reputation for poor quality, bonded leather that flakes off etc. And it was all the stuff I saw at other stores except with the price jacked up. Maybe to pay all the salespeople to show you how cushions work. read more

Bought a bedroom set from Ashley on-line on August 29 with 5-6 week delivery date. 6 week rolled around and no delivery. After numerous phone call and long waiting times I was told delivery is delayed to October 25. October 24 comes around still no news about delivery. Spoke to 3 different entities including a supervisor who were really sorry but the estimated delivery is now November 30th. Worthless company. Will never buy from them again. read more

There is absolutely no customer service with this company. Once you buy an item don't expect to be treated fairly or with respect. We have given them multiple opportunities to send us the correct pieces for our furniture and every time they are too incompetent to order the right ones. After going back and forth with them having people out to my house and confirming the pieces are not meant for our furniture this issue still hasn't been resolved. Speaking to multiple people and finally speaking to a "manager" that must be miserable and hate life I've finally had enough. I will NEVER buy from any Ashley furniture store. I'm tired of lazy people who can't or don't want to do their job. read more

Ashley makes some pretty decent stuff and honestly if you look around at a lot of hole in the wall furniture stores or even mom and pop furniture shops you will notice that they carry all different type of 'Ashley Furniture'. My gripe with this store is the sales person oversold and under delivered. Let's break it down. My wife and I purchased over $4,000 worth of furniture from this location. Also, over $1,000 on a warranty that would cover basically everything. This qualified us for a promotion which 'saved' us some money. We were pretty specific on when we needed the furniture delivered since we had a housewarming party planned. Fast forward to the day of the housewarming party and all we had was the dining table and the bed frame. Everything else was delayed which looking at all the other reviews seems pretty common. So no chairs, sofa, love-seat, coffee table, recliner.... I think that pretty much covers it. Let's fast forward a little more. My wife spilled some nail polisher on the coffee table so I called the number that's listed on the warranty booklet to see what our options are. Guess what? That's not covered. Our sales person literally said if you had a pocket knife and you sat down on the sofa and it creates a tear in the fabric that it would be covered. Guess the concept was a little different but I was still surprise that they would not cover the nail polish. The good news that was provided to me while talking to the rep was that if I did not use my warranty, it will rollover to the next purchase I make from Ashley Furniture. I gave her better news and told her I would not be making my next furniture purchase at Ashley Furniture because the whole experience was a pain in my..... neck. read more

My mother went in to purchase a bedroom set for Black Friday. There was a discrepancy during her checking out or with the ad. Alina N. took such good care of us on multiple occasions. I was very indecisive (on both visits) and she was extremely patient with me. She is honest, hard working and a great listener. Alina's patience along with quick delivery, great prices and amazing quality pieces, makes this location our reliable "home store"! Thanks Alina! read more

Horrible. Would never buy another stick of furniture here. The quality is marginal. The sale people are promise you anything and in total denial when there's a problem. Their special extra protection warrantee does not take effect till a year after purchase. Contracts are full of exceptions and caveats. Delivery prices are a rip off. Place looks ver upscale and professional but looks are't everything. Would not even buy a pillow there in the future. read more

Sales people here love to lie. A 1600 bedroom set, coffee table, and 2 end table costs over $2600. They refuse to answer their phones. They run their mouths with no actual information. Always had a great experience at Ashley. Until now. My husband and I bought a new house in mid May. We ordered a lot of new furniture. Most of it from Ashley. We requested a power reclining loveseat, power reclining sofa and manual rocker recliner. We received a partial shipment of the loveseat. It is a manually operating loveseat. I questioned it. Ashley told me that when we placed the order, even though we made it crystal clear to our salesperson that we wanted a power loveseat, she ordered a manual. The sofa, when we get it, will also be manual. She gave us a verification form for us to sign. We signed it not reading it completely (our bad), as we had an extensive conversation with our salesperson and trusted her to order the correct items. Ashley tells us now that if we want the power option, we can certainly have it, it's just going to cost us the difference in price. My belief is that being that 50% of the problem lies with us and 50% of the problem lies with Ashley, we should then split the cost. We would be willing to do that. Not Ashley. Doesn't matter that 50% of the problem lies with them. According to them, protocol deems that the entire cost of any price difference lies with us. Ashley Corporate proceeded to tell me that I didn't understand how a retail store worked and that they probably gave me a discounted price. Maybe they did, maybe they didn't. Either way, I didn't ask for any discounts and whatever price they choose to charge is not my problem. As I said, we just moved and ordered a lot of new furniture. The money tree in the backyard was dead and buried a long time ago. read more

Great customer service. Store has many items to choose from. Decent prices for the quality of furniture. Course, its not Haggerty's or a higher end furniture store. Bonus for the Military: If you are military, you can get a discount. Ashley furniture store will match and give you additional 15% off IF YOU CAN BRING THEM A WRITTEN QUOTE. Navy Exchange has quit doing that awhile ago tho so unless you can get a written quote somehow....batt those eyelashes and show some pearly whites & maybe you'll get a printout of the quote! You can get a better deal by going to Ashley's first, write down the furniture number (off of the tag) and price, and then taking it to the Navy Exchange. If they don't have it on their floor, they will order it for you. Navy Exchange doesn't charge tax either. Take up the offers given for "No Pmt til 2011" and "same as cash" b/c that is a pretty good deal if you pay it off before the due date when you will be charged interest; but pay it off before the due date with no interest -- that's a great deal! read more

Consumer Warning!!! I would actually give them a negative rating if it were an option. Save your money!!! I bought a sleeper sofa from Ashley Furniture at the Town Center. I paid too much really and I decided to waive the shipping and picked it up from their warehouse. From day one this sofa is the most uncomfortable poorly built piece of furniture I have ever over paid for. The cushions do not fit properly, the front of the sofa is bowed so the cushions fall inside of the frame. I have pleaded with them to honor their manufacturing warranty and repair or replace it, which they say is void because i picked it up. I also purchased a 7 year extended warranty which apparently only covers stains and or tears to the fabric. Ashley's Furniture completely lacks integrity and I will never shop there again!!! .http://ashley-furniture.pissedconsumer.com/i-was-an-owner-of-a-ashley-furniture-homestore-20080617124385.html Do NOT buy from Ashley Furniture!!! read more

In terms of sales, the experience was very average. Didn't add anything to the experience or take anything away. The sales staff hovered around me the whole time, but I wouldn't say they hammered me with questions to annoy me. The problems started with the delivery service. To give people an idea, I spent just under $1700 on a four piece bed set. My delivery date was scheduled about 15 days after the date we bought it so I anticipated the delivery on the date we scheduled (because I paid $170 for delivery). On the date of the delivery, I called the salesperson three times. On the third time she answered and said she would call me back after she talked to the warehouse. About an hour later, she notified me that I would not be receiving my delivery until later in the week (my delivery was scheduled for a Sunday because I work 9-5 throughout the week). I told the salesperson that I wanted to talk to a manager and something needed to be done in order to remedy this problem because I can't leave work. The salesperson proceeded to tell me that the manager will call me later in the day. I called back twice after not hearing from anyone for three hours and left messages. The manager never called me. Why can't I go into a store, pick out a piece of furniture, purchase it, and have it delivered within a day or two anymore?? I bought my couch here, they charged me over $200 for delivery, plus it took a month to arrive. If you want something quick, this is not the place. Went in this store to apply for a Ashley furniture charge card while I was out of town traveling for business. The first thing out of my mouth was "hi I'm from out of town. I'm only here to apply for credit so that once I am home I can purchase a bedroom set. My wife wanted me to get a line of credit so we could take advantage of the no interest till 2020." Well apparently an Ashely furniture charge card is not good at every location. I did not know this and the sales person made no attempt to tell me this. He simply said oh yes we can help you come over here and fill out a credit app on the computer. So I do, I'm approved, my credit is dinged and then the sales person says well the company your approved with only does no interest for 12 months but we can get you 48 months no interest if you fill out ANOTHER credit app for a diff company. This seemed suspect to me so I go outside and call the local Ashley in my hometown only to be told that my new credit line is no good there... I called the manager of the store I filled the app out in to complain and she simply said oh yeah he wasn't trying to sell you just help you. She apologized for "my misunderstanding". I'm shocked by the lack of integrity and appalling customer service. I was delivered a piece of furniture that had been broken and fixed (with wood fill & paint) before it even left the factory. They sent a replacement table, but that was damaged too...waiting on the third (and hopefully not damaged) table still. Other items were also damaged upon delivery and needed replaced too. Customer service was basically nonexistent. Customer service rep had poor phone skills. The manager has not returned the two messages I've left. Bummer. read more

The Furniture might look good and the prices are great but after 3 years of owning the Dura-Blend Sofa Recliner and Rocker Reclincer, these items literally look like they are over 20 years old! The sales person got me to buy the $150 protection plan, however this does not apply to poor quality of the Dur-Blend fabric as it does not last at all and the store or the so called protection plan will not replace the crap that I purchased from Ashley Furniture at River City on the northside. So buyer beware don't be taken in by their commericals, price, etc... as they don't honor or stand by the products they sell...So if you buy anything from them in 3 years you will be having to throw this crap furniture to the street! read more
