I like this thrift store for furniture only really. You can get some good deals on it. They are…read morealways friendly (only once I experienced a not so friendly moment but we all have our moments). They do help load your furniture and I appreciate that as most thrift stores won't. I rarely find anything else here. The other things like knick knacks, dishes, lamps, etc are usually broken. Inspect items carefully. I also once took a lamp harp off a broken lamp and they wouldn't sell it to me because I stupidly said I took this off a broken lamp is that ok? This is the one time I experienced rudeness he said no, we don't part our pieces. I said that is fine, I get it I just thought you would rather get something out of a broken lamp because no one will buy it broken. I put it back on the broken lamp and that was that. I shouldn't have said anything and he would have never been the wiser. Everything is in boxes and some on shelves but even stuff on shelves is mostly broken, sadly. The clothes and linens are in big piles on tables. What ends up on the floor mostly stays there, as most people don't pick up after themselves. It isn't folded or organized because, come on people are messy. They can't spend all day folding and organizing that area. It can have a smell and is messy. So if you are the type that likes organized thrift stores, don't want to dig or don't like asking for the price of things then this isn't the place for you. You do have to ask for prices and they will also consider an offer if you don't like what they want for the items. They may say no, but more than not the price is good or they will at least consider your offer. All in all I will continue to stop in from time to time because it is fun and the prices are fair in my opinion.

I want to share my experience as someone who has donated to and shopped at this store, because the…read morecommunity deserves to know what is really happening inside. **The manager's behavior is unacceptable.** He is consistently rude and aggressive with customers -- yelling at people who ask about prices and telling them, "if you like it, take it; if not leave it." What makes this worse is the clear pattern: Hispanic and darker-skinned customers receive hostility and inflexible prices, while white customers are met with a friendlier attitude and better deals. I have witnessed this repeatedly. Whether intentional or not, this is discriminatory behavior and it needs to be addressed. **The wait times on truck days are unreasonable.** On Tuesdays and Fridays when the donation truck arrives, customers are made to wait outside for hours, in the middle of a brutal summer heat. There is no shade, no communication, and no respect for people's time. **The inside conditions are just as bad.** The store has no air conditioning, and the fans are frequently not turned on, making the shopping experience miserable and potentially dangerous. I have personally seen elderly shoppers visibly overheated inside the store. This is a health and safety concern. The store itself is also completely disorganized, making it difficult and frustrating to shop. People donate to Soul Harbor because they believe in the cause. The staff should treat shoppers -- who are also part of this community -- with basic dignity and respect. Right now, they are not.

what a magical place. I had never been to Atwood's but I stopped in looking for a pool float…read more While I did not find said float, I did find a wonderful store filled with all sorts of goodies. From pool cleaner, to cross-bows, from dog treats (which my dog devoured) to wrangler jeans and a popcorn machine- this store was great! I wandered the aisles bc I truly didn't know what I would find next! I picked up some sun hats perfect for a day on the lake, and treats for my dog- but I certainly will come back!

This is another antique mall in a long line of antique shops and malls in Corsicana. My first…read moreimpression was that it was not as welcoming as most of the store we visited as there was not even an acknowledgment we had walked in the door like we had gotten at EVERY OTHER store we had visited. In fairness, once we were shopping we did interact with the staff and they were friendly and helpful. It just wasn't the warm welcome you normally get at these kinds of places. Overall there was a decent enough selection and the prices seemed par for the course with the other stores in the area. They are basically a vendor mall, set up with several booths where people are selling their wares... The people who work here are friendly and helpful.
