Only took away one star as we weren't told there were two tiers of delivery service and got charged for the most expensive one (didn't find this out til after the purchase was complete). Our salesman was excellent and very patient while we debated. The chair we chose was on display which helped ! It came in on time and was delivered promptly. The delivery tracker is helpful and the guys were polite and careful. Assembly took two of us about An hour with the dreaded Allen wrench but it was pretty easy and seems solid. This was possibly the worst experience i have ever had in a retail setting. I will be contacting both the better business bureau and the state attorney general's office after posting this review for breach of contract. I purchased a sofa and two recliners the first week in February. I was told it would take 6 weeks for the delivery to come in due to covid. Fine. I had one recliner get delivered in late May; 12 weeks later. In late August, I got 2/3 of a sofa delivered. I was informed about the "partial delivery" aka unusable furniture until about an hour before the delivery truck arrived. Fast forward another month, and I stayed home from work to get the last piece of the couch. I have a high profile job and taking off work is extremely difficult. The installers NEVER SHOWED UP. I did not get a call, I did not get an email. I did not get a text. After waiting 2.5 hours on hold for customer care, I had to call the store 3x before I got a response. I had briefly spoken to **JORDAN** who stated he had no idea what happened to my order, but he would follow up. Well, he never followed up. After me leaving another voicemail, he called me back and stated that he still doesn't know what happened to my PROMISED FURNITURE that was scheduled to be delivered, but if we are lucky I might get it before Christmas. First off, I have only ever bought furniture from Ashley, but I will never come here again for anything. I purchased a king bed in July of 2023. I got an email stating that they had the wrong phone number for me, which I promptly replied with the correct one (if they took down the incorrect one initially). I never heard anything from them until they called to schedule delivery. At which point, they asked me to pay an extra $50-100 (I don't remember exact amount). I told them I would not be paying more than they initially invoiced me for and they set up delivery. Upon delivery, they haul it upstairs to realize there is no railing with it and that they will be charging me more and have to deliver another day. Came out with everything they thought and wrong parts. Tried to delivery mattress then without frame (would have to put on floor) I got rid of my bedroom suit after assuming 3rd time delivery would be ok and it was not. Then promise was a qualification for gift card and still not received after calling 6x and going in there 3x. Trying to get since all furniture was delivered in February. Keep getting different answers to getting fixed and 4 months later not fixed. Not sure if I would go back after this experience. Not worth it. Glad I am retired. The staff at the store is wonderful through the initial purchase. Beyond that if there are any issues upon or after delivery the customer service is elusive. Even with purchasing the Customer care plan, it is difficult to obtain a replacement or repair. I did have repairs conducted twice but the issues must be customer damage, not furniture defect. After the service calls the issue with our dining table persisted. The Customer Care plan will not address it as it is not damage from use. The store won't address it nor will the company. I am left with a dining table that continues to fade in various area. It looks as if it is eight years old not eight months old. read more

Purchased a recliner sofa, dining table, and end tables. Sales person was professional and prompt. When the delivery was made, I noticed the end tables were not the color I ordered and I mentioned it to the delivery guys and they said I would need to contact the store. I did contact the store and they took my information and a day later, the manager of the store called and said the wrong color was ordered and he was putting a new order in at that time. He indicated as soon as the new tables arrived, they would deliver them and swap out the incorrect color tables. Good service! When I walked into the store I was greeted within 30 seconds. I already knew what I wanted to get because I looked online and I gave them a picture of the sofa I wanted. He found the sectional displayed on the floor. I said yes that's the couch but the price isn't what I seen on the Internet. So they gave the couch for the amount that was on the Internet, that was very good. I like that good service. And also the delivery personal was on time and fast. They did a very good job assembling it. I did have one complaint broncs and platinum delivery service. to get my couch install or put the legs on I had to get the platinum package which cost more. First time shopping at Ashley's Home Furnishing and definitely my last. I went there with my son to look for a bedroom set, instead he was going to purchase me a Living Room set with reclining legs. Our sales associate Nick was very welcoming and polite. I am Diabetic so a recliner would be the perfect solution to help me keep my legs from swelling. On Dec 26th my furniture arrived, after the delivery and installation I noticed that One of the recliners on the sofa was'nt attached properly. we went into the Dublin- granville rd location last night and the staff was awful. Very rude, and degrading. We decided to walk out after telling them how rude they were. I would never buy anything from them. if there is something you like on their site you are better off going to Ashley furniture in Bellefountaine where they understand customer service and are very polite. The manager himself was there along with 3-4 other salesmen and he was just as awful As his sales associates. when we walked into the store each employee was sitting there doing nothing and sadly, there is a reason for that.... they are rude. never again would I go back there and as they say in the business world "for every bad experience, it is told to 10 or more people opposed to a good experience", and we too, are a business and will be telling all of our clients, family and friends. read more

My husband and I were recently (this past Saturday 11/14 ) at the Ashley furniture store on Gemini Pl in Columbus Ohio. Our sales representative's name was Vick. He is a very kind and knowledgeable salesman and we very much enjoyed our experience! Yesterday 11/15, I was in Dublin Ohio running errands and started to regret my decision for the cream-colored couch (I have a 3-year-old who tends to spill juice) and I saw the Ashley Furniture store in Dublin and thought it would be a good idea to maybe go in and look around to see if there's anything I liked better. I was helped by yet another very nice and knowledgeable sales rep by the name of Tre. He helped me find a darker colored sectional that worked better for me. I explained to him that I had already ordered from the Ashley store in Polaris and I would have to call and cancel so I could resubmit my order at the Dublin store. (We are paying with an Ashley credit card) When I called Polaris the first time, I explained my situation and the Fatima on the phone said "well you know that Vick will lose out on his commission, so if you want something changed you need to come to the Polaris store" (I absolutely suck at confrontation so I said okay and hung up) Her saying this really left a bad taste in my mouth. I feel as though it is extremely unprofessional and distasteful to say that to a customer. I honestly did not want to drive to the Polaris store. I was already in Dublin and it was extremely windy outside. I wanted to get my order done and go home. I then had my husband call the Polaris store to cancel. They said they had canceled it. I then went back into the Dublin store to make my order. They informed me that the Polaris store had not made the cancel so they would have to call them. They called the store and Fatima answered and REFUSED to cancel it and told them to tell me to drive to Polaris. She then HUNG UP on the Dublin employee. We assumed the call dropped and called her store again. She answered and then proceeded to refuse to cancel and hung up on us again. Please tell me this is not who you put in charge of your store? I was so frustrated I was in tears. I then had my husband call Polaris AGAIN. He specifically requested to speak to Fatima and she put our original sales rep "Vick" on the phone to make my husband feel bad for canceling. Bullying a customer to make them feel bad about a commission is AGAIN extremely distasteful and a very good way to make the already 2.9 google review go even lower for the Polaris store. As a manager myself, I would NEVER allow my employees to speak this way to a customer. I also hold myself as an Office Manager to a higher standard than to ever treat a customer like this. read more

I ordered a couch in mid December and I am still waiting for the arrival in mid February. The shipment was supposed to be here two weeks ago and every day it has been pushed back. I finally scheduled a delivery for my couch that was supposed to arrive today but I never received a confirmation call. After countless hours of waiting on hold my husband literally drove to the store to get some answers. Their customer service is awful. All they told him was that they would "Expedite" the shipping from the warehouse which ends up being 4 days from now. If the warehouse weren't 2 hours away I would rent a uhaul and go get it myself. If there was an option for less than 1 star, I would be using that option. I ordered a dining room table and 8 chairs back in December of 2020. When I first ordered, ETA was for a March delivery. I had no problem with that. As we headed towards March, it was pushed out to June. As we headed towards June, it was pushed to August. As we are now heading in to August, it now tells me "No ETA". In the middle of this, all of my chairs became available in June, but not the table. As we went in to July, I received an email that told me I needed to schedule the chairs delivery before it got reallocated. I'm not sure why I would need to have delivery made for an incomplete order. No clue as to when I can expect this table because I cannot get any answers. This review is for this store and Ashley as a whole. Wow, we have had a miserable experience. We are never buying anything from Ashley again. First, we bought a beautiful bedroom set (it's really nice) from the Columbus Polaris store. My dad had back pain and couldn't drive over, so we did a $4k purchase over the phone. Everything went through on Monday, no problems. On Thursday, the salesman calls us and says they had to void the sales, they limit phone transactions to $3k. He asks me to come back to the store, do everything again, and pay with 2 credit cards to pay $3k on 1 and $1k on another. The GM of the store says the same. Apparently she didn't know her own fraud policies or internal controls. We decide to cancel the sale and try an Ashley closer to my dad. Ashley customer service during that process was terrible. The credit took almost 2 weeks to get back on the card, every time my dad called the store the salepeople just said they couldn't do anything. He was on hold with Ashley Customer Service several times for 30+ min. I got a call after I posted a complaint from someone at Ashley, the person basically said they heard I left a message, then she went to reference to store number and went silent for about 5 seconds then hung-up. I never got another call. One week later, we go to this store in Springdale. We buy the same bedroom set and a nice table. The bedroom set should arrive in 2 weeks, I have no hope for that set. It will assuredly arrive missing or mangled or wrong. The table just arrived today with no legs of course, and that the legs were somehow removed at the warehouse in Fairborn for no reason. They then told us to call the warehouse to set it up. Nope, not doing that. We are furious with Ashley. This is the single worst customer experience we have ever had. The saddest part is that they have such nice furniture and get you to come in, then then elbow-drop you from the top rope with terrible customer service and unprofessional errors along the way. I have been to the store on Gemini Parkway multiple times and they tell me they can't do anything and that I need to contact Customer Service. I have called and emailed Customer Service multiple times and have not received a response. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau because no one from Ashley or Morris Home will answer my phone call or email. Original Complaint: I purchased a furniture set in November 2019. There were multiple issues with delivery - truck broke down, went to wrong house, brought a couch with a 12 inch cut in the leather, did not have furniture for the holidays, etc. I finally had furniture delivered in January 2020 and a few days later realized the couch was not working properly and I called to set up a service request. A man came out and said a part was broke probably at the warehouse and would have a new part delivered to my house and then someone would come out and fix it. It is now June and I still do not have a resolution and have broken furniture in my house. In addition, a bolt fell from the loveseat and it sticks when I put it up and down. I have been in contact with Ashley multiple times and with multiple people up the chain; however, no one from the corporate office will return my message or address my issue. The local store says that they cannot do anything to help me without manager approval. However, I cannot get anyone to call me. Due to the poor customer service and lack of follow-up by Morris Furniture Co, I still feel strongly that you should give me a full refund for my furniture purchase (couch and loveseat). I have had broken furniture in my home since January 2020 and made multiple calls to customer service and was told on multiple occasions that a manager/supervisor (Lindsey) would call me back and to date I still have not received a call. That is unacceptable and is no way to treat a customer especially since I have purchased furniture from Morris in the past. I have had a broken couch in my house since January and have not been able to use it. At the end of March, I filed a Better Business Bureau complaint because I had no other options because no one from Customer Service would call me back. On 2/29/2020, I received a call from someone named Ashley from Customer Service who left me a message saying that her supervisor authorized an exchange for my console loveseat, which was not even the piece of furniture that was broken - it was the sofa. I called back to tell her that was not the right piece of furniture and no one answered. I called back again and left a message; however, no one ever returned my call. Then on 3/26/2020, I received a call from Morris (Taylor) telling me that they "were informed by a government agency" that they can only deliver to the front door and will be delivering furniture the following day and that it would be unassembled and left at my front door. I called Customer Service again and no one answered and I left a message that I would not accept delivery because the last message I received from anyone at Morris said they were exchanging the console loveseat which wasn't even the broken piece of furniture. I am a first responder and have been working throughout the COVID-19 response so I understand the challenges; however, all of these issues and lack of response from the company took place way before the Governor's stay at home order and businesses were closed. I no longer have faith in the products or customer service of Morris Furniture and will not be completely satisfied until the two pieces of furniture are removed from my home and a full refund given. read more

The scheduled delivery was confirmed and planned for today, Friday, December 6th. The delivery crew called to let us know they were on the way. However, 2 other calls no voicemail were related to not finding the address. When I called back -they very rudely said they could not find our address in Westerville. Yet we are in Pataskala. They refused to re-route and listen to directions to our house and were not willing to even provide an alternative date for delivery. I had taken the day off of work to be home for this delivery! Subsequent calls to customer service (30 minute wait time!) resulted in very rude answers that amounted to - "we're not it delivering today" and no option to reschedule. We also spoke to someone at the store and she did not give us any alternative for us to get the furniture delivered. We do have an address that is not mapped by Google. It is a new development in a suburb. Other deliveries do find us by calling us for specific directions. We cannot believe that Ashley Furniture is not used to delivering to new neighborhoods that may not have a mappable address. Regardless the complete lack of customer service was so offensive that it forced us to cancel this order. (~$3000). Went with a friend to shop for bedroom furniture. She really needs new furniture, having just moved to a new place and her clothes are piled on the floor. While we planned to hit several stores, it only took visiting the Ashley/Morris store on Polaris to find what she wanted. We had a great time talking to our salesperson, Trent, and his boss, Bill. They were so accommodating, working with her so she could buy it off the floor, at a discount, given the problems stores are having in getting in new shipments due to supply line issues. Lots of funny bantering back and forth, and both Trent and my friend did a great job in coming to a good deal for both sides. They made a big decision easy for her, and I've never had so much fun shopping for furniture! They had a good selection of merchandise and the store is lovely to browse. read more

I purchased two power end tables from Ashley. One came with a shelf and one didn't. I have been trying to get a replacement shelf for over a month. I call their customer service and I am on hold forever and no on EVER answers the phone. They re ordered the power end table, but guess what? It didn't come with a shelf either. I would not recommend buying furniture from this store EVER. Your customer service is horrible. When I went to the store it took forever to get a manager to help me and even then you weren't concerned with helping me resolve my issue. I would give a rating of 0 stars if I could. Update. Just called customer service and actually got a HUMAN on the phone. I about fell out of my chair. Mediocre store experience, terrible "white glove" delivery. Our couch was unpacked in the rain. The delivery crew didn't want to have to carry the couch through the back door (we measured and knew it fit). They eyeballed the front door and hallway assumed it would fit and ended up leaving the couch wedged in the hall. My husband and I had to carry it around to the back door. They did not include all of. The couch cushions because we had a add on piece. Less than a year later the back support in the couch is broken. Is just me and my husband using it, no kids to jump on it or play on it. Can't get a hold of customer service now to ask them if they'll fix it. read more

We recently purchased a mattress, headboard, and adjustable power base for the mattress. It was delivered last Friday and we paid additional fees to have Ashley/Morris furniture set it all up. In less than 7 days the power base is no longer working on one end and has a bent metal bar. Either there was something wrong with the base or it was installed incorrectly. We have contacted Ashley/Morris Furniture and we're directed to our warranty, however, because it is so soon after delivery, the warranty isn't even active yet. We asked for further resolution and the store manager directed us to call the manufacturer. This power base cost $1000. We used it about 5 times. Ashley/Morris furniture apparently doesn't care much about their customers or the quality of products they sell. We have spent several thousand dollars at this store in the past few months and it is disappointing to know that this business is not reliable. Buyer beware: if you don't want to pay extra for a warranty, don't shop here, they don't care about you or your purchase. I wouldn't even buy a pillow from them in the future. read more

The delivery company I called let me know the item had been placed on back order and has a date of June 12. It took the live chat people from Ashley 6 hours to text me back and they couldn't give me as much info as the delivery team did. A week later Ashley has still not contacted me to let me know delivery was delayed or when I can expect the item. Wish I had know so I wouldn't have sold the seating in that room in expectation of the new couch arriving on the day they had promised. Do not buy furniture at the store. $900 couch that has only been in my house for four months is already broken. Broken so bad that I am told they have to take it in the shop to fix it. It will be gone from my house for three weeks. I am told the only accommodation for this is that I have to sit on the floor while the couch is in the shop to get fixed. If a couch after four months is already broken, broken so bad that they have to take it in the shop for three weeks, and the warranty is purchased, maybe you should replace that couch for that customer. read more

Several years ago, i bought a fair amount of furniture from the Easton Store. All went well and the experience was positive. So when I needed more furniture for a new house we went to the store in Polaris. We found all of the furniture we needed. The first part of the order was delivered late in the evening well after dark by a crew who admittedly were working their first day. I paid for their "gold glove" delivery service. These two drove their truck into the lawn of our shared space in our condo complex trying to back into my driveway. Note that the movers in a much larger truck had no trouble getting in and out of the driveway. Then they had no idea how to maneuver the truck, nearly getting stuck in the soft grass. They unloaded the couch/loveseat and could not get it in the door until I stepped in and told them how to turn it sideways to clear the opening. They could not get the feet installed on the furniture so I got my own tools and did the first couple and then they finished the rest with my tools. The next morning i looked outside to see the damage they had done to the yards in our complex. Over $1,100 worth of repair to fix the damage which the homeowners association bills to me directly. I complain to the store via their customer service line (five tries to get through with average wait time of over 45 minutes each time). All they can do for me is to file a claim on my behalf with the trucking company. I have no idea who they are. No response from trucking company. I return to the store, and talk with the store manager. She pawns me off to her superiors in the region. I send an email to two higher level managers in the Central Ohio Region. It has been 11 days and not a single word from them. No acknowledgement of receiving the complaint whatsoever. I should have read the reviews here before going there. AWFUL EXPERIENCE Alert: Been waiting for our order to be delivered for pickup for over 2 months. Went to pick it up yesterday and when we arrived home realized after putting our sectional together that it was the complete opposite of what was ordered. There was one customer service representative for the entire company. This is not an exaggeration they were horrible to deal with. And to make matters worse their third party company came to inspect the issues with my bed and told me they would send me a new box spring. After not hearing how we were moving forward to get this for three weeks I had to call and and was told they would no longer help me with the issues in their furniture and now I am stuck with a broken bed. Abysmal customer service. When my furniture was delivered the delivery crew did not have the necessary tools to assemble it. They told me that someone would contact me "soon" about correcting their error, but noone has done so in almost two weeks: no calls, no E-mails, nothing. It has been impossible to get an actual person to answer the phone. Each time I attempt to call them I've been put on hold for 30+ minutes and then the line disconnects. I've gone to the store twice to try to resolve it, but apparently their business model is designed to avoid accountability and responsibility as noone at the store has been able to resolve the issues. I don't need more E-mails sent to people who don't respond, I need these people to deliver on what I paid them for! read more
