Cher was very helpful and professional! She answered all our questions and was knowledgeable. We even received a hand written note in the mail from her thanking us for our business. We purchased a couch/loveseat around July of 2019 and extended warranty, thank God. We are very disappointed. It started falling apart soon after having them. I've had it repaired a few times, cushions and the covers, which is great. Originally it was just the couch coming apart, now it is the loveseat too. We've owned it just over a year. I finally spoke with Travis, the store manager.He would have to come out and see what's going on. The gal on the 1st issues had me send her photos, which I did. I just don't think having to have somebody out repairing the furniture constantly is good customer service. There is obviously a problem either with this set, or just the material. Travis was a little bit condescending when I spoke with him and let me know that this was a level one, apparently he was telling me I purchased a cheap set. Well I still think a cheap set should last longer than this. I wasn't looking for high dollar, but I did want something that would last a while. I have bought products from a 2nd hand furniture store here in town, they sell new also. I didn't pay high dollar and the quality of their furniture is 100% better than Ashley's. Travis is going to come out himself and look at the furniture. I'm just really disgusted and probably will never purchase anything from Ashley again, especially not high dollar, because I don't think it will be any better. So apparently I will have to have somebody in my home a couple times a year to replace cushions and material for 5 years. Not happy at all. I will be going on Facebook too. I think people need to be made aware of the poor customer service. The young guy that came out and fixed the furniture was wonderful. Very personable. The manager, not so helpful. Wavering between the 2 star and the 3star. Two says it all. Earlier this year I inherited some money from my grandma and decided now is the time to get new. Not the used stuff I've been getting for years. Needed a loveseat and a chair. Get the woman sitting at the front desk, older with blonde hair. Tell her what I'm looking for and she points me around the store. And mentions that most stuff is back ordered months. Not good, want now. But gamefully look around. Stumble across the floor model/closeout area and find a recliner that I'm liking even though I had no intention of getting a recliner. Got a price from (at this point she is acting like I'm asking for the launch codes). Look around some more and leave. Text photo to hubby and we discuss what I'm thinking of. Came back the next day and while I'm again one of the few people even in the store and same woman from day before I'm treated like I'm bothering her and not worth her time or effort. Pay for recliner and on the way out I thank her for her help and given a sniff. Fast forward to now. My brother and I want to buy a recliner for my dad for Christmas. Come in and thank goodness she isn't there because I was prepared to let her know that she royally screwed up. Instead I got Toby. Who was very attentive and helpful. I also let him know that I had not been treated well. He looked a bit shocked, hope it trickles over to miss thing. I have yet to decide on where I'm getting this chair but if I do go to Ashley I will be asking for Toby or anybody but her. read more

Do not buy the extended warranty. It doesn't cover much of anything. I am trying to get at least a partial refund on the protection plan, but I'm not holding my breath. I should have known better. Save yourself the money. read more

We purchased a dining set and the insurance on the set from Ashley Furniture 5 years ago. Shortly after we relocated to Las Vegas and had some major wear on our chairs. We struggled initially with the insurance claim but Ranea was nothing but patient and helpful in getting to the bottom of the claim and making sure we were taken care of in the end. read more

Retail stores have it hard enough these days and having employees that are not service oriented makes it tough on everyone.We were ready to spend thousands of dollars in the store. The person waiting on us chastised us for not know what kind of bed we wanted, that was odd. Then we respectfully asked to walk through the furniture just to see what else was available. It took all of 10 minutes to browse, talk about options and discuss our choices, and we were near the front of the store and working our way to the door when I caught the hostile stare/glare from a key holding employee by the door. I was irritated and said flatly Oh is it time to go? He literally nodded at me. I looked blankly at him and we made our way to the door, being ushered out at 7:00pm. In the words of a famous actor "big mistake, big big mistake". I know hiring good employees is hard, being a retail furniture store with all the online cheap options is harder but Ashley Furniture needs to make a management decision to find and pay employees that are willing to work for their positions. We took our business elsewhere. read more

Bought a ultra plush pillow top mattress. Saved $400 from the furniture we almost bought from. Salesman Don was helpful and quick with the papers. He was able to get on-line and compare the model from the other store to their store, same model, same everything. Other store, had the mattress in stock, it will take 10 days with Ashley. I can wait 10 days to save$400. read more

I have recently had the experience to work with this Ashley Furniture on a community project as well as buy a living room set for myself in the midst of it. I dealt with several people in this store throughout the project and everyone was super helpful. Their interior designer Victoria took our ideas and taste and really helped expand on that and made our project look amazing. The furniture was great however the customer service was horrible. I received only partial of my order. (They forgot my rug). When I called about the initially the woman explained that they took a picture and noticeD the rug was not there and that she would have my rug shipped..after a few days of not hearing anything I called back and w as told that my order showes complete and as a courtesy they would ship me one more rug( like they were doing me a favor on a item that I had already paid for or like I was lying about something .) Just picked up a couch set and table set over at Ashley. Great products, Don, the salesman I worked with, was excellent. The delivery guys were great, and were careful as they brought my stuff in. The only snag was that it took a while longer than expected to get everything in, but other than that it was a great experience, and if what I'd bought wasn't back ordered it would have been a perfect experience. read more

While trying to decide if I was going to take the risk of purchasing furniture online, I decided to stop by Ashley Furniture and I'm glad I did! I must say that Don went above and beyond. He was super patient with the fact I had no measurements and just looking for pieces to start out with. I stopped in a few times with questions and he gave me actual information and his own experience, not just a sales pitch. In fact, I was planning on purchasing my mattress online, as I have in the past. But after talking to Don I decided to try out their mattresses in store. Again, super glad I did! Not only did I find a mattress that is way more comfortable than the ones I have bought online before but he gave me information about buying those cheap mattresses I had never thought of AND it was not more expensive. I ended up purchasing a sectional, that was customized, and a bed set. The delivery guys were amazing as well. Very nice, professional and helpful. When we both realized that the box spring was not a low profile as ordered, I called Don and he remedied the situation the same day. I can't even hold that against the company because it was handled so quickly and so professionally I take that as a positive. I much rather have that kind of experience. Just wanted to say what an awesome job Ashley Furniture and their delivery guys did. I ordered new couch and loveseat that my wife had been wanting for the last year for Christmas. I went in and ordered it a couple of weeks ago, and was able to surprise my wife with it as an early Christmas present on Saturday. Mario was awesome to work with, and helped me get the furniture she wanted, and within my budget. Plus, they were able to work with me so I could get my wife out of the house and they could deliver, and get rid of our existing furniture set. You should have seen how happy she was when she came home, and the 15 year old stuff was gone, and the new stuff was there. I had wonderful service when I bought my couch. Cindy Oberg was awesome to work with and did everything she could to help me out! The quality of the furniture is awful though! I have had it for two years and the padding on the foot rest has completely moved to the bottom of the foot rest, one of the handles, to put the footrest up, broke, and we were using pliers to open the footrest and the seam has started ripping now too! I bought the protection plan when I purchased the couch and was told that it covered everything incidental except pets. After the handle broke on the footrest, I called Ashley Furniture and they told me the service person would get back to me. Three weeks later I called again because I still had not heard back from them about getting the handle fixed. They again told me that they would get back to me. Three days later I STILL had not heard back from them so I called yet again, and this time asked for a manager they said that there was no manager in on the weekends and they would get back to me on Monday. Monday, I got a call from the service person who informed me even though I bought the couch from the Billings store I had to contact the Great Falls store because I live in Helena now. So, after a month of just trying to get a call back I have to call the Great Falls store. After calling the Great Falls store, they told me the service guy would call me. He called me within three days and told me that he could not come fix it until I filed a claim with the protection plan company. At this point I am livid. I called the protection plan company and they sent me claim paperwork. The paperwork was 5 pages to fill out and you had to send in 6 pictures through the mail, cannot be emailed. I waited several months before doing any paperwork or pictures due to frustration of getting the run around for a month from the Ashley furniture stores! When I called about the claim again, they told me that the claim was void because I did not get the pictures sent in within 30 days. I accepted that and told them that I needed to file another claim because my boyfriend had ripped the seam with the pliers. They sent me more paperwork to fill out and send in along with pictures. I sent in the paperwork and the pictures right away. I waited for a while to make sure that they received the pictures. I never received a call or conformation that they received them. I called the protection plan agency ONE month after I sent this information in and they had received it and refused my claim! Why? because the seams are not covered on the protection plan even if it was a specific incident! This process has been ridiculous! When I started this process of getting my couch fixed it was just over two years old. After two years the could should NOT be falling apart and I should not be having these issues! read more
