I shop here often for clothes, crafts, and books. The staff is friendly and the store is clean.

Lady working donations is the rudest person I have encountered in a while. This is why I try not to donate to them. They always seem like you are always putting them out. read more

Did a marathon shopping of the 3 stores a few weekends ago. And this is the worst of the three. The lighting is near nonexistant, the speaker set up is just moosh mouth and the place just seems dirty. The checkout clerks are friendly enough, the floor employees are missing so not sure what to say about them. read more

The Goodwill on 29th Street is pretty cool. They have a ton of different items, mostly decently priced. Compared to the Goodwills in CA, this one far surpasses those, and not only in available items-but friendly staff and overall cleanliness of the store itself. Every Goodwill gets "leftovers" from Target, so prices are set accordingly. I suppose my only beef would be the customers who stand directly out front of the store while smoking. For those of us who may have breathing issues, I feel that they could at the very least, stand off to the side about 20 or 30 feet from the front doors. Parking can be a pain, but there's always some places available. read more

But the other day I was in there and I bought 5 items I didn't notice until I got home that I was charged for 7 items I looked at my receipt and the cashier charged me twice for two of the same items. Its a great place to go for some great bargains, Goodwill industries help many families, and supporting them is always a good thing. Its not all old used goods, they also have items donated by stores of new products. They staff are always great, if you have good usable items dont throw them out, drop them off, monies earned go to support goodwill charities read more

If you're gonna pop some tags in Billings, this is the place to come. Nice clean location that is well cared for. Great donation drop off center as well. Prices are good at this location, but you won't usually be finding the high end items here, lets' be honest, Billings has old people and hicks usually, so not gonna see a lot of fancy things. When you find them, snag them. Great toy section, shoe section and housewares. Have fun looking around and then go into the clean and tidy fitting rooms. I don't know why there's two listings for this place but I'm posting on the most current one. The oversized sweater selection is GOLD. There, my secret is out for where to find fashionably oversized, cozy sweaters. Perfect to wear with leggings...just head to the men's section and score great finds for around $5. The book selection is ok, but their home goods and furniture are worth a look. A few of my finds have been lamps, Pyrex bakeware, a turkey roaster, mirror, vintage dishes, and mint condition coffee table books. Maybe because it's the only big name thrift shop in town, but they consistently have good stuff. read more

Great clothing selection and variety, really, the best in town. I'm told they throw a lot out because they have so much. .. :/ and yet I've witnessed employees loudly removing a homeless man from their property more than once. Don't really like to see that from a company that gets things for free then throws a bunch out because they don't have space. ..silly. .right? I still shop here often because as far as clothing goes, I think they have great stuff. My only complaint is pricing. .. I've never gone to a Goodwill that charges differently for higher end brands like this one does, considering everything is donated for free. .. this seems a bit scandalous... to them, a clean shirt should just be clean shirt. ..price it accordingly and let me thrift. These guys spend way too much time individually pricing and over-pricing higher end brands. .. Which. ..may be a waste of their time because they end up running some stuff up higher than NEW discount stores such as Ross... and I'm not buying a USED sweater for $6. That said, if you check the front wall as you enter, they post a daily sale tag color for 50% off. .. treasure-hunting for the daily deal tag is the only way to shop here without going broke. read more

I've been a thrift store junkie since my teens, growing up in Northern California. I've lived and vacationed in a lot of states which just means I've thrifted all over the place. Up and down California, Arizona, Nevada, Utah, washington, oregon, and Massachusetts, just to name a few. This particular goodwill has the worst merchandise of any Goodwill that I have been to, at the highest prices. The icing on the cake was when I bought a floor lamp for my daughter's room on clearance at target for $19.99. I had to return it because the base was wobbly. I found the returned lamp donated by target to the goodwill....and marked by goodwill at the low price of $19.99. I think goodwill needs to remember that their stuff is donated and price it accordingly. I don't even go there anymore, I go other places. read more

Very, very big store and well organized. It seems there is a lot of everything. The only trouble with this store was the parking lot. It was pretty tight and people were parking every which way even where there weren't marked spots. Also, if you put this into your GPS it may lead you past the store, so be on the look out for it sooner than the GPS shows. read more

This Store,at one point,was a lot of fun to check out. Sadly,The employees have ruined it. I was in there a week ago,in The Toy department,and Heard The Toy associate tell another employee about all of The cool stuff She sorted through,and what She was going to buy for Herself. A couple of weeks before that,The same employee was at The checkout-purchasing Toys. Kinda sad for The kids that shop there. Also,The prices of Handbags are way too high. read more

I can't believe their new prices. Tell me why I should pay $4 for a USED and DONATED pair of little girl leggings? That's asinine! They are the same price as Jean's. That is not ok! OK I get it that they are a place to educate those that might otherwise not have a job. They work with people with special needs and that is wonderful. My beef with them is the prices. I can get the same stuff new across the street and I can return it if I decide it isn't exactly what I wanted after all. Good idea but the way it is executed leaves plenty of room. I am familiar with thriftstores in many States, this is by far the most expensive, even for junk there is a hefty price tag attached. Find a different thriftstore if you are looking for a thrifty experience. read more

This store used to be so much fun to shop at. I would come here around twice a week to either look around or find great things. It's sadly gone way downhill in recent years, to the point I hardly come here anymore. I don't know if a lot of people realize how insanely rich the CEO is, and how big of a rip-off Goodwill is, but it's like no one donates much anymore for shopping. I admit, I don't donate here anymore either. I donate now to MRM, where I know the proceeds go to great things and the owner is a local person. Goodwill is INSANELY overpriced; especially considering the items they're selling were 100% free to put out on the shelves. Whoever sorts the items these days needs to recognize garbage when they see it, also. I've seen so much unsellable stuff there over the past year that it's almost comical. The workers, however, are always friendly and sweet. They're the only reason this review wasn't one star. read more

This Goodwill generally goes through a lot of merchandise in a week, meaning that if you wanted to stop by once a week you could- and you'd always see something different. It's fun to go in and browse or try to find something for a good deal. That being said, I say *try* to find something for a good deal because a lot of prices are rather high. All of their new stuff donated from either Target or Toys R Us (even if it's returned) is new-retail prices. If I wanted to pay retail store price I'd go to the actual store it came from. I feel like this (along with MRM) is supposed to be a place to help people who can't afford a whole lot, not charge just as much. Used items are also often priced high. The store always looks very clean and nice. Rarely do I find items that I think, "Wow, that's so dirty! I need to go wash my hands." after I touch. read more

My favorite thing is the books. The prices are so cheap and the quality is fantastic. Mostly ALL books are $2.99 and under.

I would not recommend goodwill to anyone. I went in to goodwill today and found two pieces of furniture I wanted to buy, one priced at $49.99 and the other at $24.99, I ask the person working [ a supervisor] if I were to buy both pieces would he let me have them for $65.00, he said no these items just came out today, and he is not allowed to adjust prices for that reason, well when II pointed out a flaw in one piece he dropped the price to $45.00, and 10 percent off at the register, so still wanting the other piece I ask him if he would drop the price $0.99 , again told he cant adjust the price as per store policy, but if I wanted to come back in a week maybe. Good will does not pay a penny for the stuff they get so this adds up to plane old greed for that all mighty penny. Needless to say I have been shopping there for years, never herd that story before, anyway he not only lost a sale but he lost a customer as well. He just smiled and walked away. This is a good place to look for things to decorate your house or kitchen items I stop by regularly and check what is put out for sale. The place is clean and well organized and the staff is friendly, which is a big plus. I've been to other thrift stores in the area, and this is one of my favorite places to go for bargains when I am in town. read more
