This was a letter I wrote to Ashley in Sept, 2021, I have put updates in. We are still having issues and I am fed up with dealing with Ashley: Purchase made at Ashley Furniture in Alpharetta location on North Point Parkway 1. Ordered Accent Cabinet was delivered damaged. Was supposed to be fixed, then Ashley representative came out to house to look at piece and said it could not be repaired and needed to be replaced. Ashley has done nothing to replace piece. (Update: new piece was finally delivered after two attempts for cabinet being damaged each time.) 2. Delivery issues with Order number. Representative from Ashley got us a 3rd party deliverer for August deliver of some items. Was supposed to reimburse us for delivery but still has not. Also, the bed frame that was delivered the delivery person could not put together, he thought it was defective. When we called Ashley about it we were then informed that because we used a third party (thru Ashley) we were responsibly for getting the bed frame back to the warehouse before they could do anything. We were never told this when we agreed to the third party. Also warehouse is over 90 miles from our house. (Update: still have not been reimbursed, said the reimbursement department is very busy and I should try going to the store for a faster reimbursement........why do I need to go to the store for them to reimburse me? Why can't they credit my card or send me a check? Sounds very inconvenient for the consumer to have to go back for their money. Again, Ashley loves to take your money but they don't like to give it back when they have messed up) 3. Yesterday (Sept. 2021) the rest of this order was delivered. Two bed frames and the couch. Both of the bed frames are the wrong bed frames. We ordered the bed frame in this collection with the bench. That is not what we got. We were also told back in July the reason we would not be getting these beds until now was because they were waiting on the benches.......but yet we got the completely wrong bed. (Update: in November 2021 the delivery men brought us one head board. And had no idea that they would need to take back the two wrong beds. I refused the one head board as what good is that going to do me and NO ONE from Ashley has reached out to explain what they did wrong here! I will probably never see these beds that I paid for) I have sat on hold for numerous hours to try and get thru to someone. I have had managers call and say they are looking into things and then never hear back from them. I have had sales reps talk to me to really just talk to me in circles and never really give me an answer. I have remained calm for most of this but I am completely fed up. It appears to me Ashley is really good at taking my money but not fixing or dealing with any problems that have happened. In an effort to resolve my concerns, I would like a representative from Ashley who is authorized to address my issues to schedule a call with me so we can discuss these items further and get to a final resolution. (Update: I still believe Ashley is very good at taking my money but not good at fixing their incompetency in their orders and delivery. I will NEVER use Ashley again and I will NEVER tell anyone to use them. This has been a horrible experience. The ONLY thing positive about Ashley is their delivery men who are very nice and understanding. They should get raises for having to deal with their companies incompetency.) We have made an instore purchase of several items back in July, 2021. The sales person (Madison) who helped us was really helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. So the service up to this point was great (or so we thought). Out of the 3 items we ordered we have not received a single item in full as of today (Nov. 16, 2021), and what is more frustrating is that we have been receiving a round table we bought in parts. First delivery in Oct. they just brought the table top realizing they forgot to order the base and legs, and also found out the hardware (for the assembly) was missing. After we had waited about 3 weeks they brought the base of the table but didn't bring the hardware. Recently after several phone calls, they finally came back out (11/13 Sat) but this time they brought another base and not the hardware. The delivery guys said we were going to receive a call from their customer service but never did, so reached out again today and now they placed an order for the hardware. Now they are saying we have to wait another 7-10 days for the tracking info of the hardware, once we receive we need to call back in to schedule a technician to assemble which may be another week easily. Even if considering crazy supply-chain/material issues going on right now, this is just too frustrating that not a single item is fully delivered after 4 visits to the store, countless calls and emails (at least 10 times): 1. Having to wait for items to deliver for over 5 months (and counting), 2. Having to receive an item in 3 different parts (with issues still not resolved as of today, and 3. Having to repeat ourselves every single time we call making it clear what we are missing, then they bring in incorrect stuff every time. Seems a total breakdown of communication within Ashley. If you want to make any purchase at Ashley, please confirm with the Sales person that your order is fully/correctly placed so you don't get your item in different pieces/parts, and ask them to be honest on how long it will take to get your items delivered (instead of keep pushing out dates). read more

purchased a dining room set on line. could not call the store to speak with the sales person we met earlier in the day. Could not dial the store directly. Purchased the in home delivery and installation for $119.00 the 4 chairs and bench came UPS and required assembly. No holes drilled in the wood for the screws. wood split. apparently on the table is coming assembled. really a $360 table requires a $119 assembly cost. Customer support was nice. waited a long time. but still on us to assemble the chairs. I need to buy a drill, go to home depot, get wood screws, wood glue and attempt to assemble these chairs. read more

I will never step foot back into a Ashley store ever again! I have had two bad experiences with the store in Midtown and this one in Alpharetta! I could not get help when I went to the store in Midtown.... I drive 15 miles to the store at NorthPoint and the gentleman that greeted me acted indifferent to me as a customer....He was chasing 3 other customers but I could have been on fire and he was not interested in helping me in general... I was under the impression that the salespeople worked on commission.... Yes I was furious.... I think the store management needs to step up and teach basic customer service skills... I purchased furniture for our office, living room, dining room and master bedroom from Ashley and for the most part I am pretty pleased with my selections. One cushion on our couch however is deformed, we though it just needed breaking in and it would settle into the couch but no such luck. I've notified the store.. spoke to a woman named Cha twice and they have not returned any messages or advised any solution. We also purchase the top warranty, when I call the warranty dept they advise me to call the store. I'm receiving no help whatsoever. I even emailed the pics to the store so they could see the deformed cushion. Hoping this review will get their attention and they will provide the customer service that is required to resolve this matter. This is will definitely make me consider taking our business elsewhere.. we still have a basement and 2 rooms to furnish but why would I return to a company that can't even fix a simple cushion problem. *received replacement cushion about 2 weeks later. read more

My husband and I were looking for a new coffee table for our living room along side a new couch (we have used Ashley for several purchases for our new home and have easily spent almost $8,000 in just a few months with Ashley). We were told initially the couch and coffee table we decided on could be delivered in 7 days (since that was part of the promotion they were running) - but once deciding on a delivery date the table we purchased was not available for 2 months. Julia, the sales consultant, told us she would try to get it to us sooner. But instead she text me later in the month and got me confused with another client and made it seem like my purchase for the table was cancelled. After sorting that out the table was set the be delivered April 19th -- the delivery men showed within the time frame and were very nice but upon opening the box and starting to set out the pieces for the table... we all smelled and saw that the entire table had MOLD all over it. The men were very nice and cleaned up best they could, took pictures to report back and took the table with them and apologized for what had happened. The wood was so molded that it left a mess on my floor in our new home. Im not sure what type of mold but the fact the men were covered in it, we all could smell it, it was covering my floor and I had animals in the room - I was not happy with everyone and everything being exposed to this. I acquired photos and called the store (Ashley in Alpharetta) and spoke with Shae at 11am who told me that the manager was in meeting with corporate and she would let him know the situation. I the called to file and case regarding the situation with Ashley to their corporate to have the issue resolved since I did not want to wait another 2 months for a new table and I wanted a credit towards my account for the inconvenience. I spoke with a woman named Wendy who provided a case number but was not able to give me a reasonable credit and told me I need to go to the store and work that out with them and they should be able to take care of that for me. I waited until about 3pm to go to Ashley in Alpharetta, hoping I would have gotten a call from their manager by then but that wasn't the case. I walked in and made them aware of the situation, which the sales manager Allen Hawkins, stated he was not made aware of anything until I walked through the doors. Shae was sitting next to him while this conversation was happening and I stated the she was the one who took the phone call at 11am today - but he stated he would talk with her later? Instead of resolving the lack of communication right there with all parties. He walked back to the store manager after he and I discussed what they could do to make the situation right (after also placing full blame on the warehouse and not taking any accountability) and told me they could give me a credit of $150 towards my account and a gift card for Ashley of $100, I told him my only issue with this was I don't plan on purchasing anything from Ashley in the future due to the lack of communication and care for me as a buyer who has spent a lot of money with them - I felt like that only benefited them. He did not try to make the situation better, he stated "Well this type of thing doesn't normally happen with Ashley" and I told him "Well it happened to me and this is the impression it has left on me." - he told me the only other option was to refund the full amount I paid for for the table and not get a new one delivered. Lovely, so after 2 months of waiting I get to wait longer and pray a new table delivered isn't molded again and have a $100 gift card to use for a place who doesn't value their customers OR I get to search for a new couch. It was a no win situation and Allan could have cared less. I decided to get a full refund and Allan stated he would call me "within the next hour" to confirm this was taken care of... it is now 26 hours later and I have not heard from him. Instead at 10:15 this morning I get a different call from Ashley to schedule a new delivery date for my table, I made the girl aware of the situation at hand and that I had been waiting on a call back since yesterday. She apologized and stated her store manager (a woman in which I did not get her exact name) would call me back today. It currently is 7 hours since that phone call and I have no received any type of follow up or confirmation that this table has been removed from my order and my money credited back to my account. Ashley clearly has no care or desire to make things right with their customers for things that are completely their fault - zero accountibility. Instead they want to play the blame game, point fingers and disregard customers. Hoping this whole issue will be resolved soon and some one decides to pick up the phone and call me to make things right. read more

The worst shopping experience ever. 1. If the sales man promise that he can give 50% off with 72 months finance for 0%, then that is a lie. They are saying 50% off with 12/16 months finance for 0% 2. If the sales man offers 50% off on Ashley Mattress, then that is a lie. According to the manager, they can give only 20% maximum. 3. If their Manager calls you back and says that you are a valued customer, and he can give "all" for 40%, then that is a lie. That "all" doesn't include Mattresses. 4. With all these, when you try to explain that you were earlier given a better offer, they might call you a lair. 5. DO NOT GO THERE ON YOUR HOUSE CLOSING DAY. We bought an oversized chair in August and were told it would be delivered the next week as it was in stock. After being delayed 3 times they finally contacted us to set up a delivery in November. We got rid of our old chair and confirmed the delivery date 3 times. The truck finally arrived and told us they did not have anything on the truck for us... unbelievable.. I paid for the chair back in august and now we had no chair at all since they set up a fake delivery of the chair.. we were fed up and called customer service to just cancel our order. We were told our money would be refunded in two weeks. It has been 2 months and I've spoken with customer service 3 more times and I still don't have a refund. Do not buy any furniture from here. Back in MAY my husband and I ordered a couch from her in store. We had our eye on many couches from other places but specifically went with this couch because the salesman told us the delivery would be 5-6 WEEKS out or the first or second week of July. The rest of the couches we looked at were 8-12 weeks. We didn't have a couch at all yet so we went with the couch from here. July comes around and I have heard NOTHING about our couch or delivery and I messaged the chat service and am informed in on back order until August. Obviously, I am very upset and call the store and they said it was out of their power to speed up back ordered items. Well guess what!! It's not Mid October our couch was suppose to arrive on Oct 5th, but the LAF chair of our sectional was on back order until the 22nd. I message them again to find out that not only is LAF on back order until November now but so is the RAF chair until late November. Which means they delivered MY RAF piece of MY sectional to someone else putting more delayed. We are now 5-6 MONTHS OUT! No one is responsive or helpful at all. No one informs you of delays you have to figure out and contact them yourself. They offered us free delivery but that does not compensate for the months we've gone without a couch. If we had known that it would take this long from the beginning we NEVER would've ordered one from them. I could've ordered a custom made couch and got that sooner than this is taking. There is no reason that a mass produced, not custom couch should take 6 months. The production delays are not excuse as we were promised a delivery date that was SIGNIFICANTLY sooner than what it is now. At this point it'll be a whole year until we receive our couch. Not to mention when I call the store they tell me my delivery date is 10/22 still even though they know that 2 of my pierces are back ordered until Nov and that it will not be delivered on 10/22. I purchased a couch from this location and had a horrible experience. The couch was not delivered on the date it was scheduled to arrive (more than 2 weeks after the date of purchase) Neither the delivery people nor the sales people called me to inform me of this, I only found out because I called to ask how I can track my delivery that I was told was scheduled to arrive between 12-5. I even called the day before my scheduled delivery to confirm the couches were arriving the following day, I was assured they would be delivered on time. Because of this assurance, I got rid of my old living room set to make room for the new sectional. Their lack of communication led to me having no living room furniture for an entire week while waiting for a new delivery time. When I called the store upset, they offered little apology and nothing to make up for this huge inconvenience. Mind you, I payed several hundred dollars for delivery. The furniture is fine which is great but if you end up with defective parts, there is basically no person that will help you. You will be stuck with a defective piece of furniture. Only giving two stars because the buying experience has been the only good thing about buying from Ashley. Vicky was my sales person and she was extremely helpful and accommodating. I ended up having buyers remorse and realized since I was paying full price with zero interest I wanted a different piece of furniture. The manager was awesome and made it possible to swap after we had already completed the original transaction. Floor staff is friendly and I had a great beginning experience. My After experience has been the absolute worst. The men that delivered everything didn't wear booties, almost forgot some pillows on my couch, I feel like the legs on the couch look like they are on wrong, some of the pillows and cushions are overfilled, they didn't put the legs on my dresser and I realized it once they were gone. Had to call customer service which if they were to outsource offshore would've been a better experience. They schedule a tech to come back a week later and when they arrive they flip the dresser over and unbeknownst to me were some additional parts but come to find out are for the bed (which I didn't purchase) so he can't do anything. Now he has to call customer service which I wished him some luck due to my experience. He was on the phone with them for more than 30mins at my house! He advises I need the screws because the wrong parts were included. They say they will mail them to me. He has me put the parts in a bag and takes a pic to ensure I wasn't at fault? Then tells me I have really pretty feet????? Shipment finally arrives but is a rather large box, I do not open and proceed to call customer service again so I can schedule a tech. Never fails I'm either on hold too long before I have to drop and no one picks up or I end up calling before or after their working hours. After weeks of calling or forgetting to call I finally call at the right time even though I sat on hold for over 30mins again which is a regular occurrence with them and an appointment is scheduled. Tech comes today. He's amazing btw. He opens the box and there's ONLY LEGS!! No screws, nothing. Just legs! He's mad, I'm mad, he read me the notes from his phone which clearly stated I needed the screws and had missing parts. He even confirmed my complaints with customer service as he's had similar exp with them. So he said he's going to make it work and he did! He was able to find two additional screws in his truck that he needed and he made it work! Thanks to him I can finally finish unpacking after moving in in August. I'd like to say that this is no reflection on the actual Alpharetta store. Everyone there was very kind, helpful, and provided great customer service. And even the delivery men that brought my first order were awesome as well. However, those that delivered the second part of my order on yesterday, 7/25, need to be taught what good customer service consists of. Things actually started off well and I had high hopes that they would end that way. However, they rushed out of here without confirming that things were completed to its entirety. I walked into my daughter's room and noticed that they left the box spring and mattress against the wall (which had been delivered with the first delivery) and did not put them down on the rails. I called one of the numbers that called me before arriving and informed them of this and was told by one of the gentlemen that it basically wasn't on their list of things to do. So my 10 yr old son and I carefully did the work . After doing so, also noticed that my daughter's drawer handles had not been installed. Instead, they were left in a bag in one of the drawers . I then called an 833 number for delivery services and had to speak to several of the customer service ladies (turned out to be no help at all). One even said that she called the driver and left a message for him to return to complete the job, but no one ever showed. My whole Saturday evening wasted. Yet another lady called me from the distribution center number and asked had I received all of my dresser mirrors on my "Friday delivery," mind you my delivery was on SATURDAY not Friday. Couldn't even provide the correct information. I shared with her that although I received all of the mirrors, there was an issue with delivery. She "transferred me to customer service" and then I was disconnected. Which brings me to today. My family and I had to travel all the way back to the store to speak with someone in hopes of getting results since I've continued to be given the runaround. Now I'm waiting to see if anyone will actually follow through. This entire experience with the second delivery service has been ridiculous. Ashley Furniture really needs to be more selective with hiring in that department and stop selecting individuals who have no idea what their job description consists of. Leave the positions for those that are competent enough to realize the value of great customer service. read more

I received a call from the driver saying his truck broke down and it would be late after 9:30pm to deliver. He said it would be delivered the next day or during that same week. I went to the store as you can't get anyone on the customer service line it's a recording only. S/w Amanda at front desk she had no idea why it was not delivered there was no notes on file and I was given a new date of 11/25/20. After no follow up on getting a sooner date I went to the store again and s/w Brad the manager he looked at order and said my order was missing a wedge that is why it was to be delivered on 11/25. I asked what they were delivering to me on the 9th ? He had no answer. The store is not apologetic they take NO accountability once you make your purchase. I canceled order completely. My husband and I had been shopping on the Ashley website for a new bed, mattress and foundation for a few days before we decided to go to the store and actually look at what we found before we decided to purchase. The mattress we wanted was a mattress in a box and we have never bought one of those before so we wanted to actually look at it before ordering. I'm so glad we did. Our salesman Muhamed was amazing. He answered all of the questions I had (which were a lot) but he wasn't pushy. They didn't have the bed I wanted in the store but he showed me one similar and triple checked before finalizing our order to make sure we were ordering the right one I had chosen online. Delivery was exactly during the time frame they quoted me and set up was a breeze. We will definitely purchase from Ashley again and hope to be able to work with Muhamed. read more

The salesman who helped me was Mark Hollis. I will only be asking for him in the future, he wasn't pushy but still available for questions. He didn't hover, but was always nearby to help. He made it painless and easy to decide on an outdoor set, as where other stores we went in either offered no help or wore the attitude of a used car salesman. I paid money to get a next bed+mattress, and it has been over 4 months today. They still haven't sent me my furniture, and when I call to check the situation ,they claim to not know what is happening. My daughter found the "perfect" dresser and nightstands for her room. She was so excited because we were transitioning from young kid to teenage look. I'm not a fan of Ashley furniture...although they make it look trendy and nice...it is extremely cheap and breaks down within a few months of owning it. We found this out with the sectional we bought for our basement. Anyway, after shopping around my daughter insisted this was the perfect set for her room. We went with it. They mentioned it was on back order. We placed our order on August 30, 2021. We received our nightstands Jan. 2022. We FINALLY received the dresser on March 20, 2022! That is almost 7 months later AND the only reason I was able to get a delivery date for the dresser is because I happened to go online and did the online chat with a representative. I had walked into the store to check in on the status. They couldn't tell me..had no clue when it would arrive. Meanwhile they had sold the floor model. That is what made me look online because they don't normally sell floor models unless it is being discontinued. I went online to see if they still sell the product and did the online chat. Was able to schedule our delivery within 2 days and we finally received our product. The customer service desk at the store is a joke! I will be sure to tell all my family and friends and have them tell their family and friends not to shop here because you will be given the runaround for MONTHS!! Alpharetta, Georgia Ashley Furniture Home Store Complaint | Defective Sealy Mattress My wife and I, purchased a Sealy King Size Mattress at Ashley Home Store located at 5980 North Point Parkway in Alpharetta, Georgia. A few days after delivery, due to the mattress seeming to be defective, we asked about the mattress return policy and warranty information or how to have the mattress replaced or how to file a manufacturer claim. The store management (i.e. Store Manager, Alex Smith, Sales Rep, Joshua Miller and Office Manager, Ayana Heard) did not share any information however ensured that we received a very poor customer experience. Still to this day, after chronically complaining to Ashley Furniture Home Store Corporate and to Sealy mattress Manufacturing, our issue has not been resolved. Again, we complained numerous times to the store management about the mattress being defective "out of the box" (i.e. lumpy, stiff, and out of shape). The effects sleeping on this mattress are tossing and turning, waking up in excruciating lower back pain. read more

Purchased $3200 worth of furniture two weeks ago. Upon purchasing, I was told that if there were any issues, I had 30 days to return or do a reselection. Delivery guys arrived 30 after the end of their time frame, which made me really late for an appointment, so I left immediately upon the furniture being placed. When I returned from my appointment, I noticed one of the recliners has a huge slice on the footrest, which most likely was caused by a boxcutter. I called the store immediately and Adrian said she would order a new piece and when it was delivered for me to call customer service to arrange for someone to come fix it. As of today, the piece never came and after calling customer service, I find out that the piece was never ordered and is now out of stock with no restock date in sight. In the meantime, the cut is getting bigger, because I have two kids and there's batting sticking out everywhere. Also, in the meantime, the mechanical recliners are already sinking and I'm discovering that this sectional was not worth the price. I would like to do a reselection and choose something else. I call Alex, the store manager at Alpharetta who tells me that they supposedly have a no return policy, even in my situation. The guy was less than empathetic and quite frankly, a jerk. He directed me to Evan Johnson, a regional manager. Although Alex gave me a fake phone number for Evan, I tracked him down through another store. Moving on to Evan, who supported Alexs alleged no return policy. I asked him where it says that in writing, on the back of your sales receipt. When I asked him to point it out specifically, he informed me that it actually does NOT say that on the back of the receipt "he just knows in his head that's the policy" What?!? I asked Evan to give me his managers name and number, which he denied he even had in the first place. You don't have a way to contact your manager??? Beware. One store manager will not honor what another store manager quotes. I was given a price and told it would be good for another day so I could confirm a color pattern. When I went back to purchase, I was told it was not valid. I walked out very disappointed. My wife ordered a leather couch and accent chair from Ashley Home Store in Alpharetta, Ga. The delivery was scheduled for Fri December 22, 2017. When the couch and finally showed up after 8:00pm, it was the wrong couch and the wrong chair. They unwrapped the couch first and when we saw the couch we informed them it was the wrong couch. They peeled the chair box back to determine if it was correct, and it was not. It was the wrong color and style. The delivery driver determined that he had delivered our couch to another customer and their couch to us. The chair was just wrong my altogether. The driver committed to swapping the couches the following day. This did not happen the next day. The couch sat in someone else's house for 4 days and when it did show up it had 2 ripped cushions. Ashley committed to getting us a new couch to replace the one that went to the wrong house and sat for 4 days, where it was damaged, and to bringing the chair the next day. To this point (December 28, 2017), none of this has occurred and Ashley Management has told my wife that we would have to pay for another delivery date, which we will not do. This has been the worst customer service experience that I have ever had. I will never do business with Ashley Home Store. I have contacted the Better Business Bureau as well. This cannot be simple incompetence, this is a systemic issue and it is obvious that Ashley Home Store has no intention of resolving these type issues without intervention. If it was possible, I would give 0 stars. I have never seen anything this dysfunctional. I should've stuck with my intuition and used Amazon, as I tend to do, to avoid poor customer service from organizations like Ashley Home Store. read more

My experience with this particular Ashley Homestore was simply terrible. I'm not one to write reviews, but this store has the most unprofessional employees I have ever encountered in my life. The employees at this store are unwilling to help you; they left one of my inquiries open without any follow up. For example, I had to exchange an item because the item delivered to me was defective. They did not allow me to exchange the item through mail, so I went to the warehouse to pick up the item (this was after many calls and conversations with the customer service. They told me that my only option was to drive to the warehouse myself). I drove to the warehouse to exchange my item, only for them to tell me that a sales order was never put in for my item, and that I'd have to drive back to the warehouse again when it comes. I asked if I could just return the item then and have the new item shipped to me, but they said no. I was never told that the item was not in stock, and I just don't understand why no one put in an order despite me calling every day about it. They also don't send email updates when inquiries/orders are made, so there is no concrete way to keep track of anything. For another item, they sent me a delivery notification with the wrong address. I called back to change the address to the correct address (even though in their system it was the right address), and all was fine (I even got a text confirmation and a call about it). I called back the next day to confirm the address again (because at this point, I don't trust anyone that works here), and was told that my delivery was cancelled. No one notified me about the cancellation, and no one called me to reschedule the delivery. The next delivery date was 2 weeks later. This particular instance was Corporate's fault, not this store's. Additionally, I was sold a box spring that I did not know about. When I found out at the delivery date, I was told that it came with the bed, so I kept it. However, it did not fit on the bed, so I asked if I could swap it out for a smaller spring box. I did not insist for a refund, and I did not insist for a lower price for the exchange. I just needed an inventory exchange so that I could actually use the spring box (with the larger spring box, I would need a step stool to climb onto bed). They would not accept this exchange until I talked to several managers about it (in person and in the phone). It was frustrating because the sales person did not tell me about a spring box, and I had a useless spring box in my home because of this. Also, if the sales person told me about the spring box, we probably would have figured out the issue before my purchase, since I also bought my mattress at Ashley's. There were many other issues too, but these were the main ones. I have no complaints about the customer service for corporate, and I have no complaints about the customer service for the delivery men and technicians. I only have complaints about the customer service of this location. I would not recommend coming to this location because they will not accommodate you. I have also spent many hours of my workday calling customer service and figuring everything out. I cannot imagine what this experience would have been like if my day job was busier than it was then, or if i were a parent. It took me a entire 6 weeks to get everything settled with Ashley, so trust me when I say I am never purchasing from them again. read more

If I did not have to chose a star this store would get nothing. My salesperson Mason who I asked for all of the time in the past and the office young ladies were very helpful and pleasant, but that sales manager, Mr. Poole and Brad the store manager are terrible. I took an item back that the manager on 2/21/2020 let Mason sell me. I was so happy to get the leaning bookcase because I had previously looked at this case about 3 time before. 1. Mason told me to make sure that I had the space at home. 2. The next time Mason was not there the salesman told be to come back during normal hours 8-5??? I work those hours that is why you have evening hours. THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN MY RED FLAG. 3. Looked at another bookcase and decided to go next door at Rooms to Go. I liked this one better. 4. Mason, finally sold me the bookcase and his manager approved it. Well, unfortunately it did not stand correctly on my wall so I took it back - THE NEXT DAY. The sales manager Mr. Poole was so awful to Mason. He was so nasty with the way that he spoke. In front of the customer and the office staff. "Didn't Mason tell you that we don't take returns." No, Mason did not! He missed a training opportunity which should have happened behind closed doors. NOT IN FRONT OF THE CUSTOMER. I felt humiliated for the salesman. I have seen this nasty man in action before and wanted the store manager to call me back. To no avail . I probably won't get to tell Brad how inconsiderate he and his salesman are, but I can tell from previous reviews that I am not alone. Ashley just lost my business.
