My daughter and I bought two bedroom sets for our new home from Ashley. Nick Valencia assisted us during three visits to decide. When we finally purchased we neglected to leave enough time to complete the transaction. It was all our fault- just underestimated the time needed which was not an unreasonable amount. Nick was extremely understanding and suspended the order and allowed us to leave to attend a previous engagement and then return to finish. I will return for future furniture needs and seek out Nick's assistance! read more

I purchased patio furniture in March, upon delivery there were several areas that we're flawed. The delivery techs noted this on the paperwork. Since this delivery I've had two techs visit my home and still today there is no resolution. Very disappointed. I do not recommend buying from Ashley's. The people in the store are exceptionally nice however once you buy the merchandise you are no longer a customer. This has been proven by no action with repair/replacement to damaged furniture. read more

My experience with Ashley was a total mess. I purchased a large sectional sofa. lamps and recliner from Faye. She was nice, but totally messed up our order. My phone number and address were keyed wrong. We were told the delivery would be on Thursday,. The driver finally reaches my husbands cell, on Wednesday., to deliver our purchase. He had the wrong address, and had tried to call my number. We have only one car, I left work, for the delivery. The driver and helper were freindly and helpful. He pointed out the phone and address error, I called customer service immediately to correct the information. Our lamps were being sent by UPS. The rep said she corrected the information. She did not, our lamps were delivered to another apartment in our complex, and we did not realize this for a week. I then had to return part of the sectional sofa, Isreal was hepful in getting the credit processed, then asked Faye to write up the new order for an additional purchase. She disappeared for 45 minutes. My daughter who was with me , went to find her. She was helping other customers and was not processing my order. She was loosing commision and could not be bothered, what I returned was greater than my additional purchase. After my daughter pointed out we were still waiting, she asked me for my original paperwork. Then proceded to forget to return the complete package back too many me. She misplaced my warranty. I followed her to the work station and pointed out my paperwork was laying there. I also corrected my number and address with Isreal and Faye on this occasion. We were told delivery would be 2 to 6 on Thursday. At 2 we were called and said they were at our address. They could not reach me because my number was still wrong. They told my husband I had 15 minutes to get there or they would leave. I called the driver told him I could be there in 15 minutes. He said he would give me 10. They left. I saw them leave our subdivision. The driver did not give us time to get to the address. HE COMPLAINED HE HAD A SCHEDULE. MY TIME IS I MPORTANT ALSO. I called customer service, they said someone would call in a few minutes. An hour later I called back , no one had called me. I was told that my hours were between 2 and 6. They would come back later. I missed over 3 hours of work. I was treated rudely and very inconsiderate. They had two other numbers besides my phone, but only called my husband when it was the last minute. The customer service is poor, and the service sloppy. Terrible customer service. We bought an expensive leather recliner couch and recliner love seat (and protection plan which we were strongly talked into). There are tears in the crease between seat 1 and 2 on the couch and it's only 2 YEARS Old. They refuse to replace or repair the torn leather! The Protection plan is only for accident spills. I contacted them the corporate office after the Alpharetta Northpoint store in Georgia we purchased from refused to help and recommended us call corporate since couches only have a 1 year warranty. I do not work for Ashley Furniture . I have been an interior designer for 25 years. I try to buy American if I can for my clients. Ashley is a family owned USA company. All of it is made in Ashley owned plants made to US standards using non toxic materials. Most of it is made in Wisconsin. I think they practically own the town. They have a new plant in North Carolina, I think also. All of it is assembled in the US and once again checked for quality in the US. No other big box furniture store has this kind of control over their product. I read a review by someone that stated Rooms to Go furniture is better made and higher quality. I laughed. Ashley is the number 1 furniture company in the world. The top ten furniture companies in the world combined do not manufacture as much furniture, just to give you an idea of how much furniture they make. I think they sell in 36 countries. This company owns the companies that manufacture almost every detail down to the screws and paper it ships in.They responsibility grow forests . Perelli webbing in dining chairs, hardwood frames, ball bearing glides, high density foam in their budget lines which exceeds industry standards.... the list goes on and on. I'm kinda a nerd about construction quality of furniture. Goes with my job. Ask other big box stores where their furniture is manufactured. Check the back or bottom of the piece , under the cushion or in a drawer for origin tags and labels. It is usually manufactured all over the world at different factories based on the best cost at the time to produce it. Almost all furniture sold in the US now a days is manufactured somewhere in China in factories that are not owned by the store that sells it. I have never had any issues that were not easily remedied by the store manager, Alex. I haven't contacted customer service. Just called the store. Is there better furniture for the dollar? Absolutely the worse experience I ever had with any retail business. their furniture got delivered damaged, the driver lied about making call to customer care, he told me there will be a replacement and I still have the damaged furniture. They are the most untreated people that I have ever worked. I was force to make a disputed with my credit card company and we still have not got the issue resolved. DO NOT trust these company. We purchased a bedroom suite from Ashley about a year ago and returned for a dining room set. The purchase was great but the salesman somehow keyed in our order as drop off. Their after the sale attention was inexcusable. Multiple phone calls went unreturned and we finally drove back to the store and still zero follow up. I had to hire someone to assist as the table was just too heavy to deal with. I drove back again today as a second item that was prepaid for had not been delivered (table top decor) and found that the order had been cancelled ( they were perplexed as to why) but with no credit to my account. The salesman stated their 3rd party delivery company was causing them to loose business....boy is he right about that. read more

I'm not going to write a thousand words aboyt the whole process. Long story short... purchased a couch on the app as it directed me to. Received delivery date and confirmaton. didn't come. they told me the order dropped or failed.. after it came out of my bank account. They then told me it'll go back on my card.. the one that failed. Mystery there. with zero alerts or notifications BTW. they told me I have to go purchase it again online this time. I look at my banjo and they charged me twice for it. I live this couch and I'm already comitted. But I wI'll NEVER do business here again and will inform everyone I know either but it in store and take it home that day or don't buy it at all. The store itself is fine. The furniture is nice enough. However, DO NOT use their financing with Synchrony Bank. They give a promotional rate and must pay within specific time frame, if not they back charge you. I had to pay an additional 50% of my purchase. It is outrageous!!!!!! The sales rep simply said, the first 6 months is interest free and after that I would need to start paying interest. He never mentioned that I would have to back pay the interest accrued from the first day of the purchase. When speaking with a manager from Synchrony, she said the notification is in the monthly bill. Although Synchrony is its own entity, the fact that Ashley allow their customers to be scammed and cheated is unthinkable. I would never do business with Ashley or Synchrony ever again read more

I have been trying since Superbowl Sunday to get someone to help me. The customer service has been horrible. They delivered a damaged piece of furniture to my home, agreed to replace it and then showed up without the piece that was damaged in the first place (the leaf). I have had contact by email and phone with Robin in customer service but now she is not returning my calls/emails after telling me we just needed to schedule a deliver day. Beyond frustrating! My husband and I were looking for a pair of simple chairs for a room. The "create" chairs were perfect for what we needed...and inexpensive.

I purchased patio furniture and a stool on 3/31/21 and was told the large furniture items would be delivered in 2 days and the stool would be direct shipped and arrive that week. The patio furniture was delivered, however the stool didn't arrive until the end of May and was damaged. It took 3 weeks of back and forth trying to send in pictures of the dents in the stool just to get them to process a replacement. When they did finally agree to process a replacement, I was told that it would be shipped in the first week of June. It never arrived. I called back about it in the first week of July and was told it would now arrive mid-August. It is now 8/31/21 and it still hasn't arrived. I again called the store and was told it would now ship out on 11/6/21. The store refuses to issue a refund or allow me to cancel the order, claiming it is because the item is direct ship. I have opened up a dispute with my credit card company but would not recommend shopping here to anyone else. The customer service department won't do anything if your items never arrive and I can't imagine how frustrating this would be if it was with a bigger purchase when they think nothing of promising items are in stock and then making customers wait more than 5 months to receive them (or in my case, it still hasn't been received). read more

Very, very poor customer service. Purchased a complete bedroom set. When delivered, paint from the furniture got onto carpet in three places; carpeting that was installed just 2 days previous. The process to file a complaint (home office- call, and wait 12, 15, 23 minutes to speak to a human) was miserable (customer service reps would never give you their names or direct phone #). Spoke to Alpharetta store manager 4 or 5 times- he admitted to was incapable of doing ANYTHING with corporate to get an answer or find out next step. After 3 weeks of calling, they NEVER sent anyone out, and finally just authorized the cleaning of the carpeting. Fortunately, paint came out with carpet cleaning. (We had re-carpeted the entire second floor, and didn't want to have to recarpet the single room- probably wouldn't match.) They have agreed to pay carpet cleaning bill (waiting on reimbursement). Furniture looks good, but customer service experience was scores an F MINUS. Terrible. read more

I went to Alpharetta store and during a black Friday event was offered extra items for the sale. With NO call or notice, they are not honoring the deal. Beware of delivery promises....We ordered an entertainment center with an electric fireplace on October 26, 2019. After speaking with the manager and stated that we needed the entertainment center delivered by November 22nd, as we are having a house full for Thanksgiving. He assured us that the delivery was set-up for November 8th, 2019, and the fireplace would be shipped UPS. We did not hear from Ashley regarding a time frame, so I called Customer Care Center on November 7th, only to find our that the delivery was never confirmed. I was then told that the delivery would be for Friday November 15th, once again, no text or phone call regarding delivery time. Call Customer service once again, to find out that the delivery will be December 13th. I've called the store directly to find out what the issue was, but nobody knows. It's truly frustrating and irritating, as I've taken off two Friday's in a row from work to make sure someone was home for the delivery. I'm still waiting on the phone call to see if we can have the entertainment center delivered by November 22nd. Wish us luck. read more

After years of purchasing furniture with Ashley at different locations I was shocked to have had the worst customer service and receive the poorest quality of furniture. This location is about making sales and not about the customer. I don't even know where to begin. All I can say is if there is anyone purchasing a new home do not allow this location to service you. From the beginning the contractors they sent out to my home delivered the wrong furniture, scratch my floors, repeatedly brought out different pieces to my home. My grand total had to have been almost or a little more than $7K I really wish I would have gone somewhere else. Not to mention they won't even let you know that the accessories you purchased are not in stock and allow weeks to go bye before saying anything. (If you don't call them you definitely won't know) They continue to say and lie that they thought they called you. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL... Be careful of what you spend and make sure to document everything. Out of all the years dealing with them I can honestly say I have never had a problem at the Mt. Zion location in morrow or kennesaw. But after having the worst experience at the Alpharetta location I have decided to find a better quality furniture company to deal with. Please make sure to stay clear of them giving you discounts to win you over. It is there finest scam of getting your business. Extremely pleased with the level of customer service I've gotten from this location! I've been in the store three times in a month. The first time I got a sofa that was slightly torn at delivery so I refused it, because the sales person was so very clear that if there was any issue with the sofa, to ask them to take it back rather than any other option. After that I thought I needed a more durable choice than microfiber so we went back to the store and upgraded to leather sofa before re-delivery, with no problems at all from a second great salesperson. We've had the sofa a week, its great. I discovered that it was on sale for less, and went back a third time to ask about Price guarantee after looking up their policy. At first it seemed unlikely that they would help but I spoke to a manager, he looked through all my printouts and he immediately helped us with a price match. This was hands down the worst experience i have had at any retailer. My delivery had an obviously damaged cocktail table that was repaired with wood filler and wood markers. I refused the delivery. I had to follow up every day to get information on it, they even said somebody would call me, however i never received a phone call. Also the deliveries are not covered up properly, they bring some stuff in uncovered. The next week, i took off work again only to have the wrong piece delivered to me. Again i refused it. I had to again follow up with the store, i asked for a manager and luckily that was who answered the phone. Brittany is a terrible manager in my opinion. She lied twice to me, saying she would get me on the first delivery for Wednesday when she has no control over it, it turns out they couldn't deliver me first so i cancelled that one. She also said she would call me back on tuesday which was the next day to process a refund for my delivery. She did not, when i called in they said she was not working tuesday. Israel was extremely helpful, give that kid a promotion. He was the only one who actually called me back when he said he would! Wednesday no call from Brittany, Thursday no call from Brittany, Friday no call from Brittany so i called in. After waiting 10 minutes for Brittany she has to put me on hold two separate times totaling 10 minutes just to simply process a refund. The delivery warehouse needs a lot of work and so does Brittany. I am going to write reviews on Yelp, Facebook, and Google for this store. The only reason i am writing the review is because Brittany and people before her could not simply call me when they screwed up and needed to fix it. I as a customer should not have to waste my day following up with a furniture store that keeps messing up. Take a lesson from Israel, call your customers back when you say you will, or when you screw up and need to fix a problem. Update, to top it all off, they finally came for a third delivery, and the store wrote it up as an exchange. The delivery guys could not leave it until they would confirm, and it took 2 managers an hour to confirm this. They are extremely unorganized. read more

Pros: 1. They gave me a good discount on the furntiure items I needed and were pretty flexible in mix'n'match of table and chairs from different styles 2. Financing was very smooth and easy. Cons: 1. They simply do not accept returns once they have delivered the items at your door. I had wrong size of one side tables in the delivery and the colors were not matching as I expected. They gave me lot of excuses and finally agreed to take it back. But later they simply denied and refused to follow up. 2. The kid's bed had wrong size of footboard legs. It took them 3 trips to replace them correctly. Each time they would bring wrong size or option. It was almost 6 weeks before the bed was finally usable. 3. I was told by the sales rep to buy the mattress protector ($226) with my mattress. We later discovered it was too pricey and did not keep the bed sheet intact. Bed sheet doesnt hold and keeps running away when you are sleeping. Overall, I think pricing and options are good. My only grudge is they are so hard on selling but do not have any customer service. They don't want to keep customer satisfied. read more

Our first deliver Ashley Furniture used a third party delivery service, who put on slippers but then proceeded to wear them outside in the rain and track through the house. We have natural wood floors and white carpeting, so we don't allow shoes in our home. We had a cleaning team onsite due to our recent move in, so we decided to work around the issue at the time. We had a couple damaged items that we refused and returned. They had to send out a specialist to touch up furniture that was lightly nicked/scratched. The second delivery team didn't have boot slippers and they refused to take off their shoes. So we refused the items again. No one from Ashley Furniture has called to address our concerns with damaged furniture delivery, or the lack of white glove service. Due to the poor service surrounding our experience, we will not be shopping at Ashley Furniture in the future, and I cannot recommend them to anyone. read more

On July 22, 2020, my bed was delivered. Screws to my bed were missing out of the box. I contacted the Alpharetta store and spoke with the manager. The Manager told me he would email the warehouse for parts. A week went by and the manager didn't call. I then contacted the store again and spoke with the manager. He said the warehouse was not returning his emails and he would contact them again. I waited another week and no reply from the manager. I then went down to the store location to speak to him face to face. The manager told me he would give me a credit for the problems I have received. I never received the credit. After two from the date of delivery the bed is now discontinued and he told me there is no telling when I would receive the screws. I called again to inquire about the credit and screws and was told to come up to the store. He took me into the back room and showed me several screws that might work. None of them worked on my bed. I went to Lowes and Home Depot to see if they carried the parts and they said the parts were a special order screw and they did not carry them. On Wednesday I contacted the manager and told him to send a tech to my house to look at the bed. The manager said he thinks he has a lead on the parts at the warehouse and would call be back that evening. He contacted me at 5:30 pm and said he was still working on it. It is now Saturday and a month from purchase and I still haven't received a call back or resolution. This is ridiculous!! My bed is on the floor and still not assembled. I also bought the dresser and mirror. It is still sitting at their warehouse because i don't want it delivered until the bed situation is corrected. read more

Buyer beware... my parents purchased a living room suit from this location and had some unpleasant surprises. Shortly after they received their furniture home, my mother realized that the configuration of the sectional purchased was not going to work for their space. That is when she was told that "upon accepting delivery of their furniture returning or exchanging is not usually allowed." What!? She was granted "permission" by the manager to swap some of the pieces (ridiculous) and was told she would need to come into the store so her original sales person could write up the order. This took an hour and a half... we were left just sitting around while our sales person walked all over the store for a computer, an order, her manager, or whatever. I went to find her and she was working with another customer. In that time my mothers receipts were lost, her protection plan disappeared, and she was treated in a condescending and disrespectful manner. Managers were visible and ignored the situation entirely so that leads me to believe that this is standard practice if a customer is unhappy. When you are going to purchase $5,000 in merchandise from a business you deserve to be treated with gratitude and made to feel as though your satisfaction with your new furniture is important to said business. Please realize that you are about to make a decision on something you plan on keeping in your home for many years and you want to chose a company that has your back if you have problems or want to make changes, without needing purchase a "protection plan". read more

Went to shop for furniture with my wife, and got the incessant hard sell from a salesman named Larry. Could not get rid of the guy for the life of us, even when it was obvious that we wanted to be left alone. Tried to sell us a mattress that we told him was way out of our price range. Also tried to hustle us into financing through the store, when we clearly said that we did not want that. I understand furniture salesmen live off commission, but dial it back about 95%. Never going to this store again because of that. If we go back to Ashley at all, it will be at a different store. read more

The sale associate who helped us was very knowledgeable and educated us on the difference in length between a full size bed and a queen/king bed, making choose the queen size beds instead of a full size bed for our sons who are growing. I visited Ashely home store to purchase two mattresses​ along with box springs and frames. I asked the sales person the hight of all three combined, and she was unsure of the total because​e she did not have measurements for the frame. We also agreed on a combined delivery date so that I could view them all together before I agreed to accept the delivery. The items were not delivered timely and the height was too high. Ashley would not take a return because the mattresses were delivered first and had been in my home for a week before I viewed them on the frames. The management of this store is too notch! This shows in the employees that are out in the floor. This store is easy to work with, they make the best deals as possible. Now there are going some dissatisfaction with some customers, these probably never get any satisfaction from any retailer, these are known at "barnacles" and those should be cut loose. No business wants or needs these people because these customers will sink a business. If I could give the store less than one star I would. My brother bought almost $4000 worth in new furniture. On move-in day to his new apartment, there was a piece of furniture missing. He was never notified and had no clue. First mistake. He called the store and the girl at the desk, Tia, said she would send an email and get back to him. Of course, she never did. So my brother called again and asked to speak with a manager. The managers name was Debrianna. She was the rudest and most unprofessional person I have ever heard over the phone. She did not realize she was on speaker phone, but all of us heard her and her mouth. If she was my employee I would fire her on the spot. She had terrible customer service and did not have a solution to helping get the piece of furniture. After several minutes of listening to her tell my brother that he "wanted to hear what he wanted to hear," Debrianna hung up on him and he was told "never to call the store again." My brother called back to get the store managers name and information and Tia answered the phone and he was told again, for the second time, "never to call the store again" and was hung up on for the second time. Both of these young ladies need to have their positions with the company seriously reviewed. I would not employ them anywhere. I hope that no one comes in contact with these two. My brother called the sales person that he used Charmaine and she instructed him to call the next day and talk to the store manager, Alex. So he did and Alex was very helpful and offered several solutions. My brother was very pleased with him. Charmaine was great as well. Unfortunately for both Alex and Charmaine, no one in my family will be shopping at Ashley again. All due to Debrianna and Tia's terrible service. read more

I recently bought my first home in Cumming, GA and was excited about furnishing the new place. So by Rooms 2 Go first and liked a few pieces. I decided to walk next door to Ashley Furniture and my prayers were answered! They had gorgeous furniture, warm and helpful sales people (love love Larisa and Sharon)! These ladies helped during the entire process and Larisa still checks in to make sure we're pleased. The prices were just right and I've never been happier with the quality of furniture. It's mature, modern quality and doesn't look like the cheaper more garish version that Rooms 2 Go often offers. If you're looking for quality and comfort then this location is the place. If you're looking consummate professionals and a new best friend, then what are you waiting on??? If I could give a zero review I would. We placed our order early in October for a sectional and were advised one of the pieces wouldn't be in until November...so we scheduled delivery for today 11/19. I called the Thursday prior to check the status and to see if we could maybe get it a little sooner, I was told Monday 11/19 was the earliest and I would get a call 24 hrs prior. I never received a call so I called this morning and they won't be coming. Supposedly they called me to confirm yet I have no missed call or vmail from them. The manager wasn't helpful and pointless as he wasn't empowered to provide me a resolution other than another day that did not work for my work schedule. I wouldn't be as annoyed if I at least felt like he tried to make things right. Being in the service business I have a high expectation for resolution and they completely dropped the ball now we are going into the holidays with NO COUCH. I'd say go to any other company to shop not even another location. I type this as I've been on hold for almost 20 minutes for their corporate offices. read more
