For me, that means that for every day in between my five weeks appointment schedule, all I had to do was shower, dry my hair, run a brush through it and it looked great all throughout the day. No product to hold the style or anything else but shampoo, conditioner and an occasional brushing. As a man, that is my holy grail of a haircut. My hair is moderately thick and wavy. The longer it gets the more the waves turn to curls. Over the years I have found that when searching for a new stylist I needed to ask if they cut a lot of wavy hair and did they use a clipper or scissor cut. The stylists who did the best job always did scissor cuts. Of course Sara needed to work through a few cuts before ridding my hair from the effects of previously poor cuts; but once she did, it has been heaven ever since. A half hour once every five weeks and that is all the time needed to look my best all the time. Thank you Sara!!

She responded immediately and suggested that I set up an appointment for a trial session. Unfortunately, I simply did not have the time to do this as I was leaving to attend my nephews wedding in Tuscany, and then hosting relatives from all over the world coming for my son's wedding. We emailed back & forth about the price, date & time of the wedding, location of my hotel etc. I also emailed her photos of myself. We then set up a date & time for us to chat on the phone. She asked what hairstyle I wanted, and I said, " I want an up do chignon that is classy, but I have baby fine hair." Victoria told me to go on Amazon and purchase "ponytail hair extensions". I was so pleased because the hair extensions were the same color as my hair! The day of the event, I was nervous in my hotel room. But Victoria was on time and quickly put me at ease. She assessed the lighting in my hotel room, laid her tools out on the bed and table and set to work! Victoria has incredible talent and an awesome personality. The hair extensions looked so natural - see the photos I posted! Also, I've never had airbrushing before and I really like how it covered and smoothed out my skin without feeling like the makeup was caked on giving a flawless, natural-looking appearance! I also wore false eyelashes for the first time and they looked fabulous! I loved my hair and it stayed up all night. My makeup held up the entire night with the heat and dancing. Victoria's professionalism and personality made the day of the wedding that much enjoyable.

In order to meet the minimum, we decided to add my mom and MIL into the schedule but this ended up changing our whole timeline for the morning at the last minute and, I had to wake up way earlier than I planned since she said it would take too long to set up at the Airbnb they were at, but OK. I did a trial with her a week before my wedding and the teasing really damaged my hair, I could barely brush it. My hair looked great during the first look, but it really didn't hold, and even by the ceremony it was falling out. Similarly, my MIL also had curls done and I noticed it didn't hold up either. Lastly, she overslept my trial (which she was very apologetic for). She offered a small discount, but I didn't really feel like it compensated for me taking the day off, spending a whole day driving to San Jose, waiting an hour, driving back, and then rescheduling. She was about 15 minutes late arriving to our venue, but it didn't end up setting our schedule back.
