I wouldn't recommend even my greatest enemy to live here. The staff act really unprofessional and…read morerude. Emphasis on unprofessional. And the things they allow here have never been allowed anywhere else I have lived. If you can afford these outrageously unreasonably priced apartments that even have carpet at such a high price then just rent a house or condo. Seriously please save yourself the time and effort and energy. Sure, it may be nice to live here if you live in a townhome, but if you live in the four story apartment buildings then it really sucks. They don't spray for bugs and it always stinks outside. And like weed outside.

I am definitely happy and glad I decided to go with Reserves for the following: 1) super safe. No weird people. Just very safe. I'm talking about building 700- so this reviews on building 700. 2) close to everything, and I'm never stuck in traffic. You can cut the grass to Sams club for dinner and cut back as exercise. 3) No weird neighbors. Have you ever had that creepy neighbor? I have! Here, it's just very quiet and people mind their own business. 4) inside is super clean and I love that maintenance comes to the rescue immediately. And they are super sweet. 5). Now that I think of it., I think paying the extra money is worth it if you think of the office people and the staff. They really are wonderful and not like some of the folks at other apartment where they treat you like they have something stuck up theirs butts-I've experienced that in college. Here, they are always there.

This complex is pretty great. I had no problems getting everything set up from out of town. Prices…read moreare very reasonable. Management and staff have been extremely helpful and easy to work with. I love the fenced backyard, ample closets and storage, and nice layout. The only drawbacks are some parts of the exterior need to be repainted and touched up. Overall, I really like this complex. I would highly recommend this place.

I will definitely be calling Pavilion Lakes' parent company Brookside Properties, Inc. to let them know about this place. My girlfriend and I went to walk through our new apartment before signing the lease on a Friday, and oh boy. The toilet was uninstalled and left in the tub. The kitchen appliances where pulled back and unplugged. The carpet had a giant rip in, but vacuum marks all around it, so it seemed like it was trying to be covered up. The walls had two giant oil stains/drips from unfinished painting in two different rooms. How does no one who works for the property walk through the available apartments before showing it to future residents? The office worked to remedy the situation after finding out about the problem, but they should have noticed beforehand - 1st red flag. The apartment was ready the following Tuesday, so my girlfriend went to look it over to really check if everything was all right (our confidence had been shaken at this point). Everything was fixed, but the carpet was a completely different color than we were told it would be. The painting was pretty sloppy as there was pretty large swaths of paint on baseboards, outlets, light switches, etc. The outside door to the shed was bubbling and literally crumbling onto the outside porch. All this was the second red flag. We decided not to sign the lease after seeing these massive issues, and the lack of knowledge by the office about them. We were told that the application fee was waived during a February special or something along those lines, but when I had logged on to put in an online application the application fee was stated to be $25 per applicant. I called the office and was told by an employee named Kendra that I could either turn in a paper copy or have the fee applied to the move-in cost. I chose the latter option. When I called the property manager, Lauren, to tell her that my girlfriend and I would not be signing the lease and why, and to get our "waived" application fees refunded, she refused. After all the lack of focus from the office about the physical property, they sure were focused on keeping that small $50 for "waived" application fees. I would give no stars to this terrible place if I could, but five stars to my girlfriend and I for dodging a bullet on this poorly run and managed apartment complex.

What can you say about an apartment complex? The apartments are the standard 1-2 bedroom…read moreaccommodations and are nothing to speak of. What makes living there pleasant are the amenities and the staff. The club house is an incredibly nice place to relax and unwind. They have a comfortable meeting area for group parties, a nicely maintained pool and a decent fitness room. Unlike other complexes, the laundry room on site is large, clean and has a good number of both washers and dryers. They have an extremely large parking lot for vehicles and you don't have to use an assigned space. You can also rent covered parking for vehicles. Also unlike many other complexes, there are many garbage containers on site and they have a decent pick up schedule so they don't overflow. They are also at each of the units so you don't have to walk to the other side of the complex. Natalie is the property manager and she affable and most adept at handling the daily issues at the units. Rachel handles all of the accounts and is professional, efficient and goes the extra mile to answer any questions you have about the applications, contracts or your account. Nichole and Phil also work in the office and are quite pleasant to deal with when you have to pay bills, request maintenance or handle other matters. There are a lot of apartments to choose from. This one is conveniently located and priced well. And with those amenities and that caliber of staff, you are doing very well.

Micah is a good leasing agent but has NO management skills whatsoever and desperately needs replaced. Ascent refuses to speak to residents making real accountability impossible for the residents. You can't even reach a live person at the Ascent home office. You either pay them whatever they say or screw you, even if they have to ignore the law. I became permanently disabled and almost died with a brain aneurysm and they simply didn't care. It took them over four months just to provide a handicap parking spot because they refused to believe the multiple letters from my doctors and the records from the state. I have had an ESA cat for years and they were given verbal notice about the cat almost 500 days ago and doctor's verification letter over 150 days ago, even pending complaints with HUD and they still charge pet rent because they simply do not care. Their legal team lied to me in writing about trying to contact my doctor yet my doctor provided written proof that they never attempted to call. They just want your money at any cost, even if you almost die as a result. Your pet rent is worth more to them than the state law or your life! AVOID this community until/unless they fire Ascent and a new management company takes over.

If there is an issue with your apartment they fix it promptly and give you a notice when they will be fixing it. They also give you at least a days notice when they have any reason to need to get into your apartment as well (such as changing out the air filters/small updates to the apartment). The rent is actually very reasonable for what you get in that location. I own a convertible and i felt comfortable to leave the top down when it was nice out without me having to check up on it.
