Great experience purchasing my furniture from here and I loved the service. If you're looking for quality furniture for a low price and great customer service, this is a great place to shop. What's not to love about saving money by buying clearance furniture from a warehouse, right?…read more Nothing, except none of it is true!!! In my experience, BoxDrop Furniture is a well thought out, well executed scam. It is NOT clearance, it's NOT less expensive, it is NOT good quality, and it has no real warranty. This company is cleverly crooked from the bottom up and lots of consumers are falling for it, including me. BoxDrop buys their furniture new from manufacturers just like other furniture stores, but by calling it 'clearance' and locating in a warehouse, they trick you and me into putting little blinders on so we think we're getting a good deal. Plus, they get away with not providing a warranty like honest furniture companies, and they save a ton of money on rent. No wonder its a hot franchise. The only one that loses is the customer. I bought a two-piece reclining sofa from BoxDrop Direct and paid about $1900. It was made by Parker House Furniture. The reclining mechanism on one side didn't work well straight from the box. The other side broke after only 12 days! The furniture was so poorly and cheaply made that if you moved in the chair the whole thing wobbled. During the sales process Dan the owner had told me the sofa had the warranty advertised by the manufacturer and they claimed it had a 3-year warranty, but when I called BoxDrop to request warranty service, Dan told me he had to "get permission" to repair it. First he had his guys come and take pictures and insert little washers into the furniture. Apparently they have to do that alot; he carries them in his pocket. They claimed that would fix it, but it didn't. When that didn't work Dan said he couldn't do anything else until he got permission from a company called "RSS" (which stands for Retail Service Systems, the franchise mastermind behind this elaborate scam) and on another call he claimed he needed permission from the manufacturer. I waited months. To Dan's credit, he was pretty good about taking and returning phone calls during this time. In the end Dan gave me all my money back and unfortunately, the recliner went to the dump where it belonged with the other garbage. I replaced it with a high end, HIGH QUALITY recliner sofa by Home Stretch from WG&R furniture that came with a warranty, and I paid $60 **LESS** than the junky death trap "clearance" recliner from BoxDrop!!!! Plus the furniture came with a real warranty from a real company and I know it will last for years, not days. It's been working great for months and it doesn't wobble. Reviews about BoxDrop are also a scam. There used to be some scam reviews at their website but they're gone. BoxDrop claims to have thousands of great reviews in social media. Hm. If everything else was a lie, I'm guessing that's a lie too, but I don't know that for sure. The five star review here at Yelp was written by Dan the owner. (Hey, that's not legit, Dan.) Read it, it's a commercial, not a review, and it misleads consumers because it gives them an artificially high rating. But at least they're consistent... misleading people is what they're really good at! Scam. Scam. Scam! Around the time I bought my furniture I saw an article by Inc. magazine about what a great (money maker) BoxDrop is. That article seems to have disappeared. Maybe they got a whif of the scam too and dropped it from their magazine. This is the Returns & Warranty policy at boxdropdirect.com/returns-warranty/ at the time I posted this review: "We want to make sure you received the correct product in good condition. If it's broken on arrival, or there is a manufacturer's defect, or we delivered the wrong item to you, you must notify us of the issue within 21 days of delivery. As long as you notify us of the issue within that time frame, we'll either get you a replacement product or, if that's not possible, you can return the items for a refund. If you return a broken or defective product, return shipping costs will apply, and the item must be in its original packaging to be accepted. If we sent you the wrong item, we will reimburse you for shipping the product back to us. Other than these limited exceptions, ALL SALES ARE FINAL." Scam alert! You'll never be able to return or get warranty for your purchase because, at least in my case, it was not delivered with the original packaging. Buyer beware. Not every piece of "high quality clearance furniture" is really high quality clearance furniture!!! Shame on people who lie and deceive other people. Shame on you, Dan and all others associated with BoxDrop.

Upon arrival to their house we got it out of the truck to inspect it. Upon inspection we noticed that 2 legs on one of the chairs was broken, the table is missing the center leaf. We called the store to address the issue and see if possibly the leaf was left there on accident. They then advised us that there wasn't anything left there for that table and chair set. So we asked them if we could return it for a full refund and they said that that's not possible. Even after addressing the issues they still refuse to process a full refund. The girl at the store said it was donated and they don't think it came with one. The girl also said that we could donate it or sell it on fb. The table honestly isn't worth more than 40$. So therefor in my opinion they falsely advertised an item for sale without addressing that it was missing a very crucial part of the table. My parents bought that table because they are adopting their grandchildren and needed a bigger table to accommodate everyone. My parents were taken advantage of and this business refuses to fix the problem. I simply want a refund for the money my parents paid.

Most recently, in 2016 when my husband and I decided we were going to build a house the following year and wanted to include numerous salvaged pieces in the Craftsman style house, Julie and J were there to help as we bounced ideas off them. They really helped us to formulate our ideas and concepts into actual additions into our new home. Julie helped me find the perfect ridge beam to use as a mantle. We also got (local) Buckstaff factory flooring which we installed into the tray ceiling in our dining room, which J actually cut down for us at the shop because the bundle wouldn't fit in our jeep! We also found the perfect claw foot tub for our bathroom, a couple vintage doors, hardware...not to mention my favorite piece, the trap door from Buckstaff Company, which is now an art piece, hanging prominently on the wall in our home. They also kept an eye out and helped find the perfect vintage buffet to use as a bar! We have so many pieces around our house that could not have come to fruition without Crescent Moon Antiques & Salvage. Julie and J are always excited to hear what projects and ideas we are pondering. Even if I'm not already brewing an idea, just taking some time to walk through the shop is so inspiring that I come away with project ideas! Julie and J are incredibly passionate about preserving history and tastefully incorporating salvaged materials or pieces into homes and businesses. Not only that, but Julie and J are SO much fun to work with! We're so lucky to have this wonderful shop and such amazing people in Downtown Oshkosh!

I had a great experience getting my vacuum repaired here!…read more I searched the Eureka website and found Kaukauna Vacuum listed as an authorized retailer and service provider for Eureka vacuums. When I called Kaukuna Vacuums, they told me that Heath handles all warranty repair issues and that I could reach him at the store after 1pm. Heath stays pretty busy running around to their different KK Vac & Sew locations in the area, but I finally reached him and he explained the warranty repair process. First, I called Eureka Customer Service Department (1-800-282-2886) and verified my warranty by reading the product number on the back of the vacuum. NOTE: Don't take your vacuum to an unauthorized repair shop as this will invalidate the warranty! Second, I explained the issue I was having with the roller brush and verified that it was not a belt issue (not covered) nor due to improper use. Third, the Customer Service Representative processed my request and emailed me the case number and warranty request. Fourth, I dropped off my vacuum along with my warranty request form and Heath took care of the rest. Easy Peasy! Heath was very friendly and helpful when I dropped off my vacuum and seemed quite knowledgeable about common vacuum issues. He knew exactly about the issue I was having with my roller brush and tried to fix it for me on the spot. Unfortunately, my vacuum was a bit more complicated and needed more troubleshooting. The good news is that when I went to pick up my vacuum I found a BRAND NEW vacuum waiting for me in the store!! Apparently, Heath talked with Eureka about the parts needed and they decided to issue a full vacuum replacement - WOOHOO! Whether you're coming here for a warranty issue or vacuum repair, you're in good hands and the staff are all very friendly and helpful.
