Would give 0 if I could. Just let people look around. There's no valid reason 3 people asked us in the span of (probably less than) 5 minutes our names and what we needed. No means no! Let us browse in peace!!!! First time, it was ok, sales routine, I get it. Second was very pushy and annoying. Third was on our way out & solidified that we will never be back. Laughed at how ridiculous it was. Just accept that people are just looking & get off our backs, and you might have had some customers. Bought 6 chair dining set 6 months ago - we never used since have eat in kitchen - granddaughter (maybe 50 lbs) had family over for her 12th birthday - she sat in chair (1st time ever used) and it splintered to ground. Manager saying sorry can't fix or replace - WHAT - $1000 for something that can't be used as intended - given no other options on how to rectify issue - no higher up to call. left with broken chair - happy no one heavier sat on it as they could have gotten hurt - don't know what to do now. Any thing and everything we have ever bought from here was lost, damaged in route or damaged by the idiots putting it together. It's like they actively pull people off the street and make them delivery drivers and furniture assemblers. No clue what they are doing. They leave screws out of the bed. We have a bed we can't sleep on that is just sitting in our room because they broke it assembling it, left the screws out of it, and now refuse to even try to come fix it or refund us. Never ever buy from here period. Not even buying brand new furniture because they will just break it or lose it. Worst furniture company ever. Do NOT go here. You will only be disappointed and angry. The best part of the comment added by Ashley below is that Michelle doesn't even work there anymore because they fired her for "political" reasons as far as I understand. Beware of Ashley's on Winchester Memphis, TN.!!! It is a privately owned store and will not treat you well at all. And Ashley's Corporate Customer Service is not there for you, either. No one understands policies the same. No one has authority to correct matters. No one will acknowledge what their own tech people say when inspecting the merchandise. In fact, Ashley's uses a 3rd-party company to service/repair troubles with furniture, and then limits them to only report using their limited reports sheet....and there is no way for the tech to give an accurate description. When leaving, the tech said, "good luck, because you are in for a long drawn out fight that you can not win". "This is not a good company". It has been two months and we still are sitting with what their own tech person said were "factory defects". After having cushions replaced and being told that the arms on our two chairs and the cushion on the ottoman could not be fixed, Ashley's insists on sending out more cushions and will not fix the arms or ottoman. Yet they are considered "factory defects". We had the chairs three days and on the forth morning the cushions are still sitting down in a "hole" because the chair table (the supports under the cushions) will not keep you from sitting down on the front board of the frame. The cushions crush down and do not recover. The fabric is wrinkling up as if they were used for decades! They are just a horrible design. And there is no way of knowing such until you go to use them a little bit. But Ashley's is saying ' oh, its been 72 hours so your stuck with just getting new cushions sent. We did not ask that they refund money, but that they let us return the "FACTORY DEFECTIVE" pieces, (two chairs and an ottoman = $1700+), and reselect to an equally priced options (including paying the difference if new selections are more expensive). They want to just replace with the same pieces and start repair process over. If you finance with them for more than 12 months to take advantage of the "no interest" they INCREASE the price of each item AND the shipping that more than compensates for their "interest". Sneaky! aren't they. By the way......From the very beginning, the store manager, Mr. Wali Nado, has not once returned my calls or messages that I have left. Nor has anyone reached back out to us to try and help resolve this nightmare. I have tried to get help from the sales person, but he just passes on messages to the manager that always fall on deaf ears. And the sales people seemed to be trained to say nothing or know much so that nothing is said that would cause them to have to back up their products. In fact, their store basically runs on the policy: 'Get their money and signiture and get them out the door before they know what they just signed off on!' read more

Williams furniture in Collierville is 1000% better place and has quality furniture. Worst experience of my life. I would rather have covid again than buy anything from Shi++y Ashely. Well after dealing with Ashley for over three weeks about delivery, of course it was wrong. I do think this was intentional if you haven't integrity about when and if you call why would I expect you to do right. Me, husband and there sales person Paige walked around an looked at all pieces. There were only minor scuffs or scratches, all pieces had legs. Of course today they delivered one night stand perfect an one without legs. They had several and of course we did not pick one without legs both same price. This has been a nightmare in times like these, so of course we will have to deal with them again read more

I have had problems with Ashely furniture Home Store on Germantown Pkwy. Still, against my own instincts, I went in here because they were having a liquidation sale. Lost their lease and had to move (they switched places with Royal furniture in the same plaza) so all sales were final. I needed a kitchen table and really liked this pub set but not the price. Of course the sales staff really want the sale and bug you frequently. Long story short, two women were kissing my bum over this sale. One got the sale because she went and asked the manager about a "fair price" for the table. For the rest of my transaction, I was mean-mugged by the lady who did not get my sale. I even apologized to her. The table on display was nice, sturdy, mostly free of defects. The one they gave me to bring home was supplied with chair legs of different length that didn't attach properly so it's like eating dinner while siting on a see-saw and the "marble finish" tabletop is a giant sticker with bubbles from being improperly slapped on. If I ever needed to sell this thing, I would be lucky to get $20 out of it even though I paid $400. Never again will I step foot in an Ashley furniture. read more

The shopping experience was okay, unfortunately the company Ashley is using for delivery is subpar. Ordered a bunkbed for grandsons, didn't come in for another 3 wks. Store set up delivery and the nightmare began. The delivery time was set for 6-9 p.m., waited and they never showed up. Placed a phone call in to the delivery company and was given a bold face lie as to why they didn't show up. The lie grew bigger and bigger as the conversation progressed. Bottom line, we made a request for a reschedule for the next day and was told that we would have to wait another 2 wks before delivery. Made the decision to cancel the order and look somewhere else. Ashley can deal with the unprofessional company, but I don't have too. read more

As a repeat customer, my wife texts the sales person and asks about a coffee table set we saw online. She assures us that if we send her pix, we would get the same price shown online. Next morning I drive 35 minutes to pick up the tables, only to be told that they are not available (no problem, someone had bought them before me). I asked the sales person to place an order for the next shipment and pay now so I get the discounted price. She said yes and put in the order. For some reason, she placed it under a higher showroom price without saying anything! Only when I tried to confirmed the online price my wife had discussed with her, did she tell me the price would be higher. Talk about bait and switch!!! On a previous order, when we went to the warehouse to pick up a mattress, we were told they were out so we had to buy a more expensive mattress. BAIT AND SWITCH!!!! Perhaps they should be called Ashley's Crooked Used Car Lot!!! To add insult to injury, I called the store to talk to the manager but of course he was "with a customer ". I left a message but I know I will not hear back!! It's ok keep your tables. I already bought the identical set from someone else for . UPDATE: so "Strikeforce M" of Ashley's comments on my above review and asks me to escalate to her for possible resolution....only so she too can ignore me! Hilarious!! I get mislead and cheated by salesperson, ignored by store manager, and now dissed by "Strikeforce M" who I assume is either their social media monitor or customer service do-nothing specialist. This is the worst furniture shopping experience I have ever had. Poor customer service, no follow up, and rude employees. I ordered a bedroom suite. It was delivered damaged twice. Took almost a month to receive furniture. Customer service rep told me she had no supervisor and hung up on me. When i finally got to a corporate number they rerouted me to the store manager who never called me. Finally I was promised a gift card for my dissatisfaction. Three months later, no gift card. Do your homeeork and read the reviews first then Run from Ashley Furniture. They will never get another sale from me. They are refusing to honor their lifetime limited warranty that is posted online and the extended warranty that I purchased does not cover the frame!!! I will NEVER purchase furniture from them again and if you are thinking about using them I'd say FIND ANOTHER COMPANY!!! Ashley Furniture is a FRAUD and will not stand behind their products!!! I've been searching for months for the right sectional and today I was blown away by the Ashley Furniture Outlet on Summer Avenue! Donna Nichols and Catalina were nothing short of amazing! As soon as we walked in, we felt welcomed with their quick greeting. Not only did they nicely greet us- they gave us plenty of time and space while we shopped. We sat on what felt like a million couches and chaises- Never once did their enthusiasm waiver! Every employee I came across was a genuine pleasure! Donna in particular was super knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. I've never left a furniture place as happy as I did today! Not only did we get a beautiful piece, we felt really good about the money we paid for it! I cannot wait to buy more from this location to add to our new living room set! great experience overall. I purchased a cabinet with glass doors and it came no problems. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because the shelves were not installed and were kind of stuck in the bottom of the cabinet I guess during shipping. I was able to get them out after some maneuvering. read more

My Nephew called me yesterday and asked if I would co-sign a loan with Ashley Furniture so he could get some furniture for his house. Unfortunately, he lost everything he had in his recent divorce. I told him I would do this for him, although my credit is not perfect, there are no negative marks (other than my i am close to maxing what credit I do have. I didn't think that would matter because my overall debt ratio is less than 20%). Blake from Ashley Furniture called and took all of my information, around 4:00 in the afternoon. I asked him if he would call me and let me know if it went through and he stated he would call me no later than 8:00 last night. I never heard from him. At noon today, I texted my Nephew to see if he had heard anything and he told me they called him because it was disapproved. Although the disapproval is on me, I am furious that the Salesman didn't have the balls to call me. especially after I specifically asked him to. I am so fed up with Sales people who don't have the balls to call their customer when a loan is disapproved. That is piss poor customer service. Just because my loan was not approved doesn't mean that I am not anxiously waiting for someone to call me and let me know if it was approved or disapproved. Sales people need to learn what their job is. Not everyone gets approved. It is not the salesman's fault that I was disapproved, but it is his fault that he doesn't have the testicle fortitude to return my call. I don't appreciate poor customer service and will not buy a trashcan from any Ashley Furniture Store.....ever. read more
