The man walked over, took the charger out of her hand and proceeded to scan it himself... (An attempt to be closer to her.) She hurriedly paid and she left. She immediately called her father and while she was telling him what happened she turned around to see that he was right behind her and had closed the store by pulling the gate down. Her dad and I instructed her to go straight to an employee in the airport and let them know. By this time she was terrified. They got the police involved and we were told that the man would be spoken to, but he had left when he heard My daughter talking to her dad. On top of all of this the $40 charger that she bought did not work. She saved the receipt and the box along with the charger and I have written to corporate bringing their attention to the type of people they have employed and requesting a refund. I have yet to get a response to two emails that I have sent already. I don't care how convenient the store is, whoever they have working there seems to be dangerous. I'm sure that this is not the first or the last time this will happen. Just a warning for any single women or younger people traveling. The one star is only because there is no option for zero stars. Disgusting behavior not to mention selling broken items.

I went early Monday morning to scout flowers/prices in advance before purchasing for the wedding the following Sunday. Unfortunately, the Exchange is closed Saturdays and Sundays in July/August, so I ended up having to buy the flowers Friday and hold them through Sunday. Additionally, they get their floral deliveries on Monday (I confirmed this with one of the vendors) so the flowers I bought Friday had been sitting there for a week. And some of them really showed it. (Some vendors stay open on Saturday/Sunday and receive deliveries on those days, call them directly to inquire). I compared prices between the individual Exchange vendors as well as outside vendors. Prices for calla lilies were about the same at outside vendors, prices for mini succulent plants at the Exchange were cheaper. The selection at the Exchange can't be beat though. Little chance of finding some of the weirder items like Swamp Lilies, Fern shoots, ranunculus, etc. elsewhere. But some of the pricing on the harder-to-find items matches the desirability (fern shoots were $17.50 for 6!). I encountered some really nice, helpful, and patient staff at Fleurametz, Kelley, and Chester Brown, and some more bristly/unfriendly staff at other vendors. I do still get the sense that the staff are sometimes making up the pricing on-the-spot based on how they feel about you, and this was confirmed on Friday when I actually purchased the flowers. However, it was to my benefit, as one of the vendors warned me the ranunculus I wanted were on their last leg and discounted them greatly. Some of the flowers had been discounted from their Monday prices, naturally, as they were now a week old, though some were not (cymbidium orchids, dendrobium). The Exchange is a good option if you want more unusual blooms that your local florist probably won't have. They also carry a number of off-season blooms that would have to be special-ordered at a retail florist. You can get some good discounts on a Friday. Bring cash.

Thankfully there were a number of pest control companies in the area, and when we reached out to several, Green Planet Pest Control responded promptly, answered all our questions, and were able to schedule something within a day or two. The guy who came out to our house wore appropriate protection gear, and got the job done without any toxic chemicals that would've been bad for our dog or kids nearby. He also advised me on what product to get (a fairly pleasant-smelling natural spray with peppermint oil) to keep spraying in the area if I saw any return buildup, that would dissuade the wasps from sticking around. Would 100% recommend.

I'm somewhat handy, and if I was not, I would have been taken advantage of even more. Here's my story: **Incident 1:** It all started when my AC unit broke down during a heatwave. I had a newborn at home, so I needed help fast. Despite being on the pricier side ($500 for the visit), they were the only ones available quickly. The technician "fixed" the issue and tried hard to sell me a brand-new unit--despite the fact that my current one was still functioning. I brushed it off as a sales tactic. However, when the weather turned cold, I realized my **heat wasn't working**. I'm a bit handy, so I took a panel off to inspect the unit, and what do I find? The **gas line had been turned off at the panel**! It's important to note that the heater worked just fine before this service, so the only possible culprit was the technician. Had I not caught this myself, I would have likely been convinced that the entire system needed replacing--costing me even more money. **Incident 2:** Later, I did end up getting a new HVAC system (from a different company). However, my diverters (which control airflow) stopped working, blowing a fuse. Once again, no one else was available, so I had to call Alborz again. I was skeptical after last time, but thought maybe it was possibly an accident... This time, I was on high alert and watched him closely. He fiddled around and had me go check the thermostat downstairs while he "worked on the unit." Reluctantly, I complied. Sure enough, when summer arrived, **the AC stopped working again**. **Proof of Sabotage:** After some investigation, I discovered the technician **deliberately disconnected a wire** in my unit, which is why the AC wasn't working. I have photographic proof showing the disconnected wire and the work area, demonstrating this malicious action. --- **Final Warning:** It's clear to me this company has a pattern of **sabotaging equipment to generate more business**. These aren't simple mistakes; they're calculated actions designed to mislead homeowners into believing their systems need more work or replacement than is necessary. If you're considering hiring them, think twice--you may end up paying more than you bargained for, both in money and frustration.

More over, you want the confidence you're receiving the highest quality product possible. In light of those traits, Travis delivers on all fronts. Once comprised of a whole team, Travis is currently the sole vendor for Monkey Wraps. How I discovered him was....a long time in the making, actually. See, the quest for upgraded auto-aesthetics originally started way back in 2023. At the time, I was looking to do a total wrap. The price was more than fair for what I was seeking, but it would take some doing saving up the amount needed. So, I sat on the idea for a few years. And then I got an epiphany...from ChatGPT of all places. After some deliberating and image rendering with the bot, I thought to myself, "Self, what if, instead of getting a total wrap, we got highlights? It'd be both cheaper AND quicker." And so it was. With a few adjustments to the shade of green I wanted, I settled on a Gloss Green Envy; which proved to be absolutely perfect for highlight colors. Had it been a total wrap, I'd have gone with more of a dark forest green. But, I digress. In any case, I couldn't really justify putting a total wrap into a depreciating asset. Clearly, this was the better choice. I didn't come up with the idea of applying color to the base rockers until after the first set of media had been ordered (I'm so dumb sometimes). But, no matter. Each job, having been done on two separate visits, took approximately a day with overnight curing. And for those who were curious, a total wrap would have taken 5-7 days. So, yeah...this was better. It took me a while to finally write this review because I needed to bide out the 2 week recommended waiting time for curing to complete before washing my car so that I could take pictures. Needless to say, it was worth the wait. All in all, not a bad way to spend $1.3k if I do say so myself. It was certainly worth the 45 minute drive. And for those wondering why I didn't just go someplace closer like Lifesize Wraps in Manch Vegas, it's mainly due to 3 things.. 1.) They only had like 2 reviews at the time of this one. Whereas Travis' portfolio is immaculate and massive! 2.) I honestly didn't know they existed till after already booking with MW. 3.) I kept thinking about that original quote I got from him years ago. I guess it all just boils down to loyalty. Yeah, the place is hard as $#!@ to find the first time. But there are MW signs pointing you the direction to go if you know to look for them. You'll know you're in the right place once you reach a warehouse looking building with the #11 above and you're standing before a door with an 8 on it. There's even a Ring doorbell so you can communicate with Travis if he's not physically there. He accepts contactless digital payment (of course) and typically requires an initial deposit to get started; usually in the ballpark of $100 or so. Honestly, I can't say enough great things about Travis and his amazing talents! So, I'm just gonna wrap this up here (get it? XD) and give Monkey Wraps 5 shiny new Bimmers with Glossy Green highlights beaming down the highway out of 5.

I will start by saying that I was perfectly satisfied with the work Liz did for me. If this review was based on quality vs. price, it would have been 5 stars. What I was not pleased with was how many times I had to poke and prod her to get an actual result. I had been working on a tattoo idea for about 3 years. Finally committed to some text and wanted a professional to draw it out in pretty font. Nothing on Microsoft word was jiving with me, so I decided to look into a calligrapher. Liz had the highest ratings on yelp. 2 stars seems really harsh, but when I write a yelp review, I think about whether I would recommend the business to a friend. In this particular case, I can't say that I would. After initially reaching out and getting no response, I sent a follow up email 8 days later to see if she was even interested in doing the work for me since it was such a small project. Frankly, overcharging someone for doing one sentence worth of work, versus hundreds of envelopes for a wedding seems kind of a no brainer to me...whatever amount she would have suggested...I would have happily paid. Courtesy is also another big thing for me--it's 2015, I know you have a smart phone and, as such, nearly 24-7 access to email. A simple "Hey, thanks for your email. Sorry I'm super swamped for the next couple of weeks, can I touch base then?" would have been more than OK. After Liz confirmed that she would do the text for me, it took another 6 days to set up a paypal transaction. I paid within half hour of receiving the email prompt and then it took another 3 days to actually get the file via email. Again, all if this would have been OK had she not emailed me that I'd have the file the next day. Again--nothing wrong with the quality--at the end of the day I got several options to work with, but I cannot tolerate this level of slowness/unresponsiveness. I can't imagine paying her to do wedding invites and then sitting on pins and needles waiting to hear back.

So I finally took some time to look up local businesses that do custom embroidery and found Graphic Connections. I spoke with the owner Paul in person one evening shortly after they were closed for the day. He was very friendly and insightful to their process for handling custom jobs for their customers including other local businesses. They run two shifts: sales and design by day, printing and embroidery by night. We spoke through some details and fees involved and went from there. Zapporah took care of all the different quotes and questions promptly. Dave handled the design and proofs prior to production. The night crew handled production and a phonecall was received when it was ready for pickup. Turnaround time after the proofs was really quick! Moment of truth was when I finally picked up the end product - a few aprons embroidered with logos as a gift to another local small business. They were beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. I can't be any happier and look forward to working with them again in the future! Definitely recommend!!!

Avoid this Printhouse at all costs! I had an order of 200 units and roughly half of the order was…read moreunusable. Took it up with claims and they did not want to remedy the situation. 40/40 of the white tees I ordered arrived with the wrong color printed on them. Emulsion took responsibility and said it was there lack of attention to detail that caused the error, they reprinted and did the right thing. It only goes down from here. The lack of attention to detail and carelessness continued when I opened the box of hoodies. The embroidery on the front center was left of center and inconsistent through out the 40 units And I was able to use 5/40. 12/40 were the complete wrong color hoodie, and emulsion blames the distributor ( but how do you not make your customer more aware of this besides in the fine print ?) another 8 or so all had the threads pulling on them on the embroidery. 4 or so had blue die sneered on them that I was unable to remove with standard cleaning products. Chris from emulsion claims office declared that only 8 of the hoodies had issues and would reprint them. Now I'm left with more than 20 hoodies that I can't sell and scammed out of $600 (roughly). Additionally 30/80 crew necks I ordered are misprints and don't have full coverage from the screen printing. haven't heard back from them on this but assuming they'll take no blame once again. Chris is miserable to work with and actually said he didn't know why I was so upset. Maybe because my $4,600 order arrived in the worst condition out of any print shop I've worked with? The day that Alex guaranteed my items would be ready for pickup I had an email at 1pm from a production employee asking me to resend my files of the artwork (even though I had over a month ago and they were approved) safe to say my items weren't ready that day. Don't trust their guarantees on when your items will be ready for pickup or when they will return calls or emails. Scammy and sleezy team and company who takes no pride in their work!

I'm tired of the cheap quality enlargements at CVS/Walgreens, and with this photo having a large background of green grass, I wanted it done on good paper.
