I am there every 1-2 weeks for nails, hair care and or waxing. It is a very warm and friendly atmosphere while remaining a very professional salon. Prices are average, I have never failed to be satisfied with the services, even when I used any of the other cosmetologists because Regina was out of town. You will not find a lot of salon drama here like I've seen too many times in the past at other salons. Also the prices are higher than I would like but this is one of those areas in life that I have learned the hard way that you get what you pay for so I am willing to pay. Example - tell her you want a long bob (which I just did) and she will ask how you wear your hair, if you pull the back forward over your shoulders, and then explain why cutting it at a certain angle will help your hair lay better given your answer. Tell her you want blonde highlights and she will ask what that means to you - is it bleach blonde, honey blonde, etc. Plus the price is great! She helps me come up with a cute but low maintenance way to keep my hair since I'm only in town about twice a year.

Be warned. There was no blending. It was straight stripes. It was near devestating to be honest and it took 3.5 hours, as the 2 person staff were trying to juggle so much. I should get a $115 refund (plus I left a hefty tip), but I decided to not directly complain. My usual saloon charges $90 for this service and I always walk out happy and pretty. It wasn't layered, the cuts were visibly uneven. Good stylists usually but STAY AWAY FROM ALEX.
