We contacted Amanda and gave some sort of vague direction that we didn't want her messing with our chin angle and there would be no matching shirts, but gave no really good information about what we wanted b/c we didn't actually know. We wanted pictures that made our kids look angelic, me 40 lbs lighter and my husband taller. And we kind of wanted to look happy. She suggested locations (fabulous) and took everything in stride at the shoot including (but DEFINITELY not limited to) my son throwing both his shoes at her head. Amanda also has a 3 year old and apparently speaks this language well. Post hissy fit, my son does not look like he just tried to kill the photographer and is now crying hysterically w/ snot running down his nose...he is demurely looking down and holding his baby sister like there is nothing he loves more. She's. a. genius. She was patient with all of us and really acted like she had nothing she'd rather be doing on a Sunday afternoon that a photoshoot that was like herding cats. Angry, rabid, feral cats. She's priced really well...and just burns the shots you want onto a CD so you can get as many photos of whatever size you want without a bunch of weird and confusing photo packages. Yay Amanda. Definitely coming back. We might go barefoot next time though...just to be safe.

I never win anything so I started the process really excited. I put won in parenthesis, because I didn't actually win anything, and I suspect this is a tactic they use to get people through the door, as to have any rights to my photos (which I was never explained beforehand) I'd have to pay hundreds of dollars. To even post my photos on social media. Which is absolutely ridiculous price gouging. I had expected to pay for a few prints, because I wanted to support the business, but even the smaller end of the package deals were over $200. My photographer was nice enough to me, but made some really off handed comments about things like "don't tell my granddaughter she's half black" and "I've had people ask me if I'm okay morally with shooting boudoir photos, and I tell them yes because I'm not the one in front of the camera". She also did not explain to me that when they offered a payment plan for your photos, you wouldn't get them until they're fully paid off. That would have changed my mind had I known, because it's literally pointless for me to get a Halloween photo in the middle of March. I reached out to the owner multiple times, from everything from them not alerting me when my photos were edited, to not really being happy with the photos, and feeling very taken advantage of and like I hadn't actually won anything. I was told I won a sitting fee which would've been $100. Who in small town Bastrop can afford to throw hundreds of dollars every step of the way at these people? Also, the photos themselves are not the quality I thought they'd be, and I really wish I would've seen that I looked like a Spirit store ad, before giving them my card info. I also noticed that they've used my photos for marketing on fb, and on their website. I feel like I honestly just did a modeling job for free, and even in the past the modeling sessions I've done, have at least landed me the right to post my own photos. When I expressed my concerns, and told TJ, that I no longer want the photos, and want to just cancel everything and call it a day; she ceased contact with me, and has never responded to any of my concerns, but they've still drawn money from my account every month. I've worked with and am friends with many photographers, and I've never seen any of them have such price gouging, shady business tactics. VERY DISAPPOINTED

Then immediately they gave download access and claimed that they have download rights and they are claiming photos are good even though all photos are blur . Overall they took 450 USD for nothing and not even single good photo is there and on top of it we mentally disappointed by seeing this photos . I will recommended go here only if you want to waste your time and money .Its worst photography every I had seen .

I was a happy but very unprepared, slightly chaotic bride, and somehow she turned all of that into calm, beauty, and joy. Katy made everything feel easy and stress-free, even when things were rushed. Her presence alone lowered everyone's anxiety, and I felt completely taken care of. Her photos are colorful, fun, and full of life. They feel spontaneous and natural, yet every shot is absolutely perfect. A huge shout-out to her sister as well. She helped with everything and was such a bright, calming light throughout the day. Initially we had scheduled to do a bridal portrait shoot the week of the wedding (I was an out of state bride). Unfortunately it rained the entire day :( Katy allowed us to add an extra hour on the wedding night to make up for it! She was so easy to shoot with and made everyone so comfortable. Unfortunately it ended up raining on the wedding day too, but made for the most spectacular photos!!! We got the gallery back and everything is sooo gorgeous. Can't get enough of them!!! I am so glad I did! For our outdoor maternity pictures, she gave clear directions so I didn't feel awkward posing and was able to include our dog who is often a little crazy and has a hard time focusing. For the newborn photoshoot, I am thankful she provides all the props and outfits. She was very sweet and gentle with our baby and I really appreciated the shoot was about 4 hours so we didn't feel rush and had time to feed/soothe her in between pictures. Highly recommend!
