He and his team were superb: exceptional craftsmanship and attention to detail, easy to communicate with, and very competitive pricing. Gaspare was able to accomodate our schedule and he and his crew honored all of their commitments. We were looking for someone who could handle the entire job which included repainting our kitchen. Gaspare did a great job, eliminating the stress of having to coordinate that ourselves. What's more, he and his on-site foreman (Renaldo) made exceptional recommendations re choice of materials and installation options that yielded results significantly better than what we had initially envisioned. We now have a vastly improved kitchen that is basically better than new, with craftsmanship is a big notch higher than our original construction. We could not recommend Viola Tiles more highly.

The ground doesn't have a parking spot and there are parking outside , but no clear indication if it was the ground parking or the hotel/university parking. I did t want to get charged for illegal parking. I hence had to drive a few minutes to get to a closed parking garage . No machines here . Had to pay online using a PayByPhone app. Took me 30 mins end to end for parking . Food was expensive inside : tasted ok. Not that good . Make sure you eat outside before coming to the ground . Overall it was a good experience for the event , but parking/food wasn't that good..

Free parking. An intimate venue. And baseball. How much better can it get?…read more When I travel during summer, I take in baseball games ... many of them of the Minor League or independent league variety. This team -- from the players to the ticket-takers -- doesn't disappoint. There's not a bad seat in the house, and the tickets are cheaper than a movie theater. There are plenty of picnic areas and umbrella tables along the concourse. No worries though, as you can still hear the umpire calling balls and strikes. I've had colder stadium beer and better ballpark hot dogs, but I certainly went back for seconds. Oh, and you're never more than 15-20 yards from a bathroom. Yogi Berra Stadium is the home of the New Jersey Jackals, a member of the CanAm (Canadian-American) independent league. The rosters of these teams are comprised mostly of players who are trying one last time to make it to the big leagues. Several players have made it as high as AA ball, but were released for one reason or another. In other words, the quality of baseball being played here is good ... I'd say between A and AA. If I lived around these parts, I'd be a Jackals regular for sure. For the people who do live within 20 minutes of this place (and there are many), oh how fortunate they are.

NYC? Yeah, I know, they've got me covered, and I do partake...but I'm a Jersey Girl now and I want to play in my own city and state. Behold! Sounds of the City! Every Thursday of every summer, NJPAC holds this outdoor concert series. The event goes from 5:00-10:00pm. Just perfect for the after-work crowd. Yay! I get to play in my own city! The lineup is amazing. The event is free, and I've looked, there were no donation boxes or collectors in sight. Yes, I'd donate if they asked. (You can donate online though.) There were a few small grass patches, plenty of brick roads and a checkerboard dance floor set up in front of the stage. Bring your lawn chairs, picnic baskets, and whatever you wish to eat or drink. There were no rules against BYOB. And if you felt like keeping it light, just come with cash. There were a couple of food vendors set up...just a couple, so the lines can be long. There were also liquor vendors, but their system is a bit odd. You buy drink tickets in the same line you redeem the tickets. You can only buy tickets of $5 and $2 values, combine them as you wish for the price of your drink, then scoot two feet over to redeem. No Port-O-Potties, the restrooms are inside the NJPAC. How nice! A few vendors selling clothing, novelties, and incense and body oils were also there on the first day I went, but that might vary depending on the performer(s). I was there just yesterday to see The Wailers, enjoying the Bob Marley classics we all know and love. I plan to go every week, whether or not the performer(s) are familiar. Big Daddy Kane is coming up, but I'm most looking forward to seeing Rakim (still one of the greatest MCs of all time, just saying).
