My husband had the hamburger steak, looked like real gravy and tasted like real gravy with a little filler added to make it stretch. The hamburger steak arrived covered in gravy but the mashed potatoes arrived with absolutely no gravy, and no extra gravy for the potatoes. I don't think we'll be back. One server run off her feet.

The restaurant is part of the Reynolds Hotel. Parking is ample, since it looks like everyone walks here. Not a bad thing at all, since the weather here is freaking awesome. When we walked in, it was full of people stuffing their faces on sandwiches, which is always a good sign. The staff were VERY friendly and helpful, which is nice. This is one of the things I really like about smaller towns. People take the time to chat with you. I had the Monte Cristo sandwich with fries. The turkey was dry, but that's to be expected with breast meat. But the egg infused into the bread reminded me of HK-style French toast. The fries weren't quite crispy enough (maybe a bit raw?) but on the other hand, they weren't dripping with oil, which is a good thing. While eating my sandwich, I noticed several people ordering cherry cheesecake ($5.25), so I gave it a go too. This has to be one of the best cheesecakes I've had anywhere. It had just the right amount of sweetness, and the cherry sauce balanced it out PERFECTLY. This is worth a special mention. You will not be disappointed. One last random piece of trivia: Rogers/Fido does NOT get reception here. But Telus/ Bell does. Take that, Rogers. Overall, a nice alternative to Dina's Place, which seems to have hogged the other 90% of the reviews in this town.
